After much searching of Youtube, this was the closest I could find to the "official" Dylan version in terms of rhythm, and inflection/accuracy of the vocal melody (including some early demos by Dylan himself). All I wanted was to hear the original version, but I'm glad I found this little cover. It's the only one I've found that I honestly like, and that includes the vaguely blue-grassy tone.
i as well am a huge dylan fan... I even have the cover of bootlegs vol 1-3 tattooed on my arm for cryin outload .... very rarely do i think someone covers him well.... this by far ...is the best cover of any dylan song ive ever heard....im about to check out your original stuff....i hope it follows suit.... if you guys ever come to indiana....please let me know
@azureus8851 I like this version. But two of my favorite Dylan covers are both "Senor". One is by Tim O'Brien-he does a bluegrass version. And the other is by Calexico and Willie Nelson.
The Rumpke boys breathe new life in some old classics, they have a huge database on archive.org and i have a collection of favorites put up. Check em out!
This is what country music actually sounds like. Bob Dylan emulated his hero Woody Guthrie in a lot of his work, it really shows here, JB
