Brian Downey honestly has to be the most underrated drummer in all of rock history. He plays powerfully, he can apply a light tough, he works the cymbals like NO other rock drummer, he SWINGS. Bonham was never in Mr. Downey's league.

All these comparisons between Led Zep and Thin Lizzy which continue to this day... in my humble opinion, Zeppelin on their best night couldn't touch Thin Lizzy on their worst.

The single greatest live rock band I've ever seen in my long life. Just jaw dropping.

Where's that feature film biopic of Phil's life, based on his mum's book "My Boy"?? I read reports of that film ages ago and nothing's come of it yet :(
