My favorite song from Pendragon. Very good and a little bit influenced by Genesis ( i can hear "Eleventh Ear of Mar" here and there in the song ). I think that they used to open for Marillion in the early 80'S..
clive nolan with hair peter gee with a clone moustache lol i saw them when they looked like this in 1984! brighton dome supporting marrion 2nd of march 1984!
No it's a lot better! I know what you mean and I have fond memories of it, but they have gone from strength to strength and moved with the times tp keep their music fresh and interesting.
Hi Rockaires, all the studio albums are listed on the website, pendragonDOTmu but roughly speaking there is:- The Jewel, Kowtow, The World, The Window of life, The Masquerade Overture, Not of this World, and Belive (plus compilations, live albums and dvds! )
I was actually at the Exeter gig spoken of at the beginning and end of the clip and remember seeing this on TV. I think it was Spotlight South West. Have the album too, in glorious vinyl. First saw Pendragon at Reading Festival in 1983 and thought they were splendid. They were maybe the second band on the Friday afternoon. Saw them a few times after that when they returned to Exeter and still love their music.
Andypandy, there are a good few groups out there that are similar (and great also!) Try Jadis, I.Q. Galahad, The Flower Kings, Spock's Beard to name a few.
Im fourteen! :p Pendragon rule, it sucks that there are no bands about today that are anything like them. The closest band to them today is Dream Theater, who are great, but are basically nothing like them
Indeed!; my daughter showed me this YouTube malarkey, I'm amazed that so many prog/rock bands from that era are still going. I'm feeling very, very old now:-/

Still one of my favorite Pendragon songs of all time. And I didn't hear it until 2004. Better late than never.
Nick's guitar and vocals are awesome here, and I love the flashy "Oriental"-style keyboard runs.

this is excellent! It's hellish listening to this then listening to the band Pendragon have become. They lost the plot, big style, after the Jewel.
