@collinsrodog actually there is an option in the video settings of the ps3 called rgb full scale. Its automatically set to limited (so the colours dont look as robust) Most people dont really know its there and dont change it. Otherwise the colours would look identical.

Pc is the best version, I guess they just put more thought into it, but since Ps3 is like a pc, it could be just as good, I compared my friends TES4 ps version with my ps3 on a 1080p resolution with my 46" Soney Hd Tv, with an HDMI of course. 360 also has the HDMI, but the thing is, it doesn't have the settings to function as good as the ps3. As we see in the comparison, there are no load times on the ps3 version, and you could see further in the distance, ps3 covers smaler details.

I've played both versions and the grass looks allot better on the PS3 version. Keep in mind the PS3 version came out nearly a year later and had time for refinement. The qualties of the PS3 and xbox 360 are so close that honestly who cares...well nobody important anyway.

i have this game on 360, there are no huge difference on these two versions expect ps3 draw objects more far away than 360, distand land textures looks also better on ps3 and has a little bit more detail on face but xbox 360 has better bump mapping and better hdr lighting.
one of the main reasons the ps3 looks better is because ps3 has blu-ray which has 10x the available space as compared to DVDs. The oblivion DVD version had to be slimmed down a little in order to fit on the disc
I believe the Xbox 360 Texture is High quality and PS3 texture is Ultra quality and HDR lighting is a bit better too on the PS3 version because of the Nvidia RSX and the 512 XD ram (Formerly RD ram) and a 7 core Cpu VS ATI Xenos, 256 DDR ram and a 3 core CPU... so the PS3 reigns 360 with graphics and the loading times....
The fight with the guard is so much more realistic graphic wise then the 360 but what i dont like about this video is the ps3 side is captioned with the sun refledcting on the screen -_-

I play this on both 360 and ps3 and so what the the overall graphics look A LITTLE better on the ps3. Are people seriously deciding what system they want to play it on based on something as small as minor graphic improvement. I own and play Oblivion on both consoles and I've noticed that the 360 shows much better dark to light comparisons while the PS3 shows more texture and better rendering. I haven't played this on the PC in my fear of intense lag because my comp. is terrible...
Seems the xbox can't render that much, so the PS3 shows the textures of the face, if you play the game on Pc with the highest settings, it looks like the PS3 compared to the Xbox which makes images look smeared but likeable. I have the game for PS3 and PC.

i have this game on 360, there are no huge difference on these two versions expect ps3 draw objects more far away than 360, distand land textures looks also better on ps3 and has a little bit more detail on face but xbox 360 has better bump mapping and better hdr lighting.

one of the main reasons the ps3 looks better is because ps3 has blu-ray which has 10x the available space as compared to DVDs. The oblivion DVD version had to be slimmed down a little in order to fit on the disc

I believe the Xbox 360 Texture is High quality and PS3 texture is Ultra quality and HDR lighting is a bit better too on the PS3 version because of the Nvidia RSX and the 512 XD ram (Formerly RD ram) and a 7 core Cpu VS ATI Xenos, 256 DDR ram and a 3 core CPU... so the PS3 reigns 360 with graphics and the loading times....

The fight with the guard is so much more realistic graphic wise then the 360 but what i dont like about this video is the ps3 side is captioned with the sun refledcting on the screen -_-

gametrailers actually say that the pc and ps3 version of oblivion are the better choice due to faster loading times and not as much lag also they have more stuff to do in the game than the 360 version

I play this on both 360 and ps3 and so what the the overall graphics look A LITTLE better on the ps3. Are people seriously deciding what system they want to play it on based on something as small as minor graphic improvement. Look if you have 360 get it on 360 if you have ps3 get it on ps3 if you have both get it for both or choose which system you like more because other than MINOR graphic improvement the game is the same on both damn consoles.

I own and play Oblivion on both consoles and I've noticed that the 360 shows much better dark to light comparisons while the PS3 shows more texture and better rendering. I haven't played this on the PC in my fear of intense lag because my comp. is terrible...
but anyway, I much prefer the PS3

Seems the xbox can't render that much, so the PS3 shows the textures of the face, if you play the game on Pc with the highest settings, it looks like the PS3 compared to the Xbox which makes images look smeared but likeable. I have the game for PS3 and PC.

I had it for 360, amazing graphics, but then I got PS3 and got Oblivion again, MUCH BETTER, AND AMAZINGER GRAPHICS

ps3 gameplay is real life paced and so much smoother it depends on what ps3 this is running on, the 40gigs run a cheaper processor because theyre m-$200
