  • Democrats in denial.

Right,Martha's loss was due to her "being on vacation" and had nothing to do with the arrogance of forcing an unwanted healthcare policy onto us.

  • @dgl1962 In a DEMOCRACY, you get to vote for your elected officials, who vote for laws. DEMOCRATS were ELECTED to the WHITE HOUSE, a majority in the house, and a majority in the senate, probably because Americans were sick of the horror show that was Bush/Cheney. Obama ran a campaign in which he said healthcare policy would be a priority.. You probably voted against him. More Americans voted for him. The MAJORITY of Americans voted for him. Arrogance? Pfft

My comment had nothing to do with our form of government, but you need a lesson in it,we are a constitutional republic and nowhere in the constitution is the word "democracy" mentioned since our founders loathed it and knew that it was little more than mob rule.

By the way, even if we were a democracy, the democrats stiil didn't lisen to the people on healthcare!.

  • @dgl1962 "By the way, even if we were a democracy, the democrats stiil didn't lisen to the people on healthcare!."

    1. What is your evidence?

    2. Even the Republicans said we needed healthcare reform. They just wanted to start over from scratch. Neither party Dem nor GOP said it should not be done. I'm eager to see your polling data

It's hard to argue that the people said no healthcare when Obama ran on it. He won the election. You losers forget that elections have consequences.

  • @InTheAtticLights1

The evidence was in the polls that showed people did not want a complete government takeover, but the Dems rammed it through anyway(so much for your "democracy").Democrats use the "people want reform" trick to push terrible policies like "immigration reform",that is the term used when dems want to lagalize 30 million w/ the stroke of a pen.

If you think that us Libertarians are losers, wait until November.

  • @dgl1962 Libertarians are far from a majority. Polls don't pass laws, elected officials do.

Link to the polls that make your case.

I guess the Republican dummies will keep blindly voting for their party, the Democrat dummies will vote without much though for theirs and all the rest of us will be cursed with the ignorance of the two major parties not knowing that it's just a hustle to give you the illusion of choice.

  • Even the liberal pinko Bob Beckel says on this one, "You can't turn chicken mess into chicken salad". Not even Chris Matthews can spin this from being a judgement on Obama's communist policies, they are the reason Brown won and EVERYBODY knows it, no matter what the pinkos at msnbc say.

  • Sure, it's communism. God help us.

  • all three of those scumbags belong in prison.

  • uh, you ok?

  • liberals are spinning like crazy. Frank Luntz had a polling group that voted for Obama but voted for Brown in this race because they do not like the Chicago style politics going on in DC.

Obama, Pelosi, Reid - you are officially on notice!

  • Per Rasmussen, 53% of MA electorate today approves of Obama, 38% disapproved.

Pelosi and Reid are doing "Chicago-style politics?" Last year the GOP said Pelosi was doing San Fransisco-style politics. Apparently geography is not a strong point for conservatives.
