Man, I finally got to play this game and I must say, it's freakin' epic. The feeling when you enter the first Galaxy and hear the beautiful music playing is beyond what words can describe.

Also, good job on Nintendo and Mario for winning Game of the Year.....EVERYWHERE!

Super Mario Galaxies music reminds me of Disney for some reason. Which is good, we need that kind of style in games. Works well for Nintendo. (as they ARE the Disney of the gaming word [except they don't milk their classic franchises until they lose their magic])

Zelda actually never really had any orchestral pieces in their games until TP. And even then, only a small fraction of TP's soundtrack was done in orchestra.

Koji Kondo really outdid himself this time. I think Zelda and Mario are set to switch places in terms of Game music compositions. SMG is now the OOT of videogames. Took Shiggy over 20 years...but yah...epic Mario, wow.
