  • I have autism and part off gill de la tourette,i do have the Tics but i dont scream tings

  • yawn...

  • excellent worker!

  • 54 hours?

  • @ilikethisand nooo it's 54 minutes, silly~!

  • fuck me, is this the longest video on youtube?

  • like French president Sarkozy

  • But lets say im in a presentation i dont do it..

only when im sitting or not doing anything..

  • most likely your focusing on what your doing like me when i am doing something important i don't have them other wise i have them

  • Hmm. I find myself shuddering and cringing whenever I hear the words "pleasant", "hope", or "moving forward". I've always felt that it gives me a deeper appreciation for the Knights of Nih sketch from Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Also, every time I see a Republican I have to fight the urge to hit them repeatedly in the face whilst crying "Where are the WMDs, you bastards, where are the WMDs?!?".

But these days, that is normal.

  • I have tourette's. Both motor and phonic tics. Head shaking, shoulder and stomach contactions, eye blinking rolling and straining etc. They do wax and wayne, some a transient, but seem to end up eventually back to the same tics as before like a cycle or something. I have coprolalia, but I don't swear as much as just random words usually having two syllables. Like the word Butter for example. Some times it's bad and sometimes it's almost non existant.

  • I've had a lot of those same tics, but I've never been diagnosed with tourettes. (shoulder and stomach contractions, eye blinking... )

  • Do you think stress brings it on more? Are you able to have a job etc?,I am just curious. It must be really difficult to deal with, but maybe,if you turned it into comedy, then people would deal with it & be more accepting. I know I appreciate people who can laugh at themselves & are understanding of others.I observe in just regular behavior of people being in a room all day together at work, that everyone has weird things aboutthem & people just accept it,especially if you are a nice person.Peace!

  • actually for me sometimes it gets me sad :(

i hate this thing i have motor tics and vocal

  • Can you feel it coming on before it happens? & can you modify the vocal thing to like a cough into a pillow, or maybe duck into a bathroom or something like that? & when you think about it more, does it happen more often? I am just curious & I am sorry it makes you sad. I wish there was medicine that you could take, have you tried anything? Like anti anxiety meds, or anti seizure meds. Take Care!! Peace!!

  • You can feel it coming, most people can control it enough to make it less noticeable to others, when you think about it, the tics are more frequent and there are meds you can take, although often the side effects are not worth the benefits.

Ha. All that for a 5 month old comment.

  • I like your screen name! I imagine that any 'drugs' out there to supress motion would make you tired all the time, then you have to drink lots of coffee, then take more drugs, ,, yeah, well if people moved to california, then most people wouldn't even notice because they are so self absorbed & or have Ipods one & don't notice anything at all...

    Take Care Now....!

  • first i think when i always started i had to do it 4 times to stop it had to be even times i had to the tics its pretty wierd dont know how...

but mostly when im with ppl or when something awsome is happening aaah! to hard to explain my mind..

  • hi,

i also have tourettes and i have been looking in myself for the reason. explanation i ve found for the tics is the 'suppression of my expression', has to do with a bigger than average desire for creating relationships, which is the extensive tension i experience around other beings, the fear of doing or saying something 'stupid' or being laughed at. i will write a book of my findings, but i d like to know from others, like you, whether you also experience this what i described?

  • Hi there.

I have had Touretts as far back as i can remember, yet i refused to allow myself to look into it until about 6 years ago when i decided i wanted help, this was when i was diagnosed. i experiance increadably violant tics, muscle strains (giving myself cramp in my calfs especialy), spitting, squeeking, grunts and many more.....

  • i too have similar feelings as you have expressed here. if you would like to talk more it would be nice to discuss this further, i feel very alone with my Touretts as i know noone else with this condition. Thanks a lot. Hope your well.

  • if you want, you can send me an answer in a youtube-message

  • i m especially interested in how you experience yourself right before you would get a vocal tic. tension, fear, the thoughts that go thru your mind, etc

i d be much obliged if you could answer me on this

    thanx, kim

  • Hi, I have chronic anxiety, & I get angry & annoyed with things & I will react to it, but not tics really, but I was wondering, if you have tried taking xanax or ativan, when I do remember to take it, I am better, but I know this is a genetic thing, just like you, it's not your fault, dont feel inadequate to others bcause most likely, they also feel inadequete in some way too. Some people try to hide it by over compensating, like lifting weights, or acting like a jerk, especially on you tube!
