  • If I get this, will I need a reservoir and all the other stuff that make up a liquid cooler? Or is it just unbox, install, and run?

  • only unboxing, how about the performance of the product, it worth the money to spend for this????

  • do you have to fill it with liquid? or replace liquid after awhile?

  • @SwiftXZ no its non maintainance

  • @SwiftXZ No you don't have to fill water in it. I got the H70 by myself. It's working Great. My CPU is Phenom II X6 1090T 3,20 Ghz.. (6 x 3,20 Ghz) I have overclocked them to 6 x 3,60. My temp in games is around 32 Celsius

  • The basic problem with these type of coolers is that air is still there inside the loop. Mounting has been improved though.

  • I got this about 2 months ago and it's amazing bro!

  • why so rushed man?

  • Why r u doing this outside??

  • this one is has the biggest cpu block :/

  • click on 40 seconds....

  • Ehh, this costs way more than any decent aircooler and performs worse. I don't understand what niche it aims for.. :/

  • @ShadowwwLFS And how big are the decent air-coolers, again?

  • @ShadowwwLFS Oh, and forgot two things, how heavy are the air-coolers? Where does the weight get attached?

  • @IAmSomeoneOrOther Nobody cares cause decent motherboards can hold as much as your mom (2380 kg) on them.

  • @ShadowwwLFS Its better safe than sorry you little prick.

  • @IAmSomeoneOrOther it's safer to mount <600g Hyper 212+ on motherboard and have safe temperatures than to mount 2g H50 and be unable to overclock due to it having total crap performance.

  • On most cases that fans would be at the back of the case, right? So sucking in the cold air from the back, does that mean u need to rotate ur fan at the front of your system too?

  • is it good? how about some real tests?

  • you can cool a car with that lol

  • Vents orientation? Out or In? or 2 Vents out? Whats better in the Obsidian 800D case?

  • will the H50 fit on to an ASUS M4A89GTD-PRO/USB3 motherboard ??? with an AMD PHENOM II X4 970 AM3 3.5 GHZ QUADCORE ???

  • @DeAtHxTHEPRO The H50 does support and will fit with your AM3 socket motherboard and processor.

  • @DrDubnium thank you :)

  • Do you need to refill these anytime?

If you do what do you refill with? Thanks

  • @Zainiak They are said that they don't need to *ever* be refilled. also they have a quite long life span. ;)

  • Linus you fucking rule, man.

  • NH-D14 FTW it beats the h70

  • @MrComputereviews it's friggin huge though

  • @WhiteHawk137 yes but better temps

  • @MrComputereviews CORSAIR H80 FTW! It beats the NH-D14

  • I have the AMD X4 955 Black Edition Processor at 3.2GHZ and i was wondering if i get this or the H70 will it be able to handle the processor running at 4.0ghz or 4.2 ghz

also I am using the cm690 ii advanced and was wondering if i could mount this at the top or something PLEASE HELP!!

  • @JJROADSTA yeah on everything but the overclocking to 4.0... i have same cpu and just installed the h50 toady(biggest pain the the ass to put on) it was worth it it dropped from 60's to 30's so yeah first time u start it up its like make water splahin sound i thought mine was gonan explode! but yeah also i have stardard cm 690 so its a tad smaller but worked :) directions suck major d1ck too

  • @scarface4724 Thanks I've decided to go for the Corsair H60 because it got all the new technology it looks good and performs better than H50 for a little bit more soo..........

  • @JJROADSTA that's a nice cpu you got there :)

  • @TheModernReaper Thanks man

  • suck in more dust

  • Can you replace the black tubes for transparant ones?

  • Is the pump power connector 3 or 4 pin? Because I do not have any three pin power headers on my board :S

  • just orderd this :D

  • I just installed the h50 but when using the computer the lil hoses get warm sometimes hot, it is normal?? For ur answers ill really appreciate thanks!!

  • Yes, it is.

  • @viderwin That's normal. All the heat from your CPU is caried trough these.

  • do you still need thermal compound on your CPU??

  • @LJM2stepspain- Yes

  • @LJM2stepspain No,it's best to clean the CPU off first, the cooler has TIM pre-applied.

  • when i bought this i got two metal things that supports socket 775 and 1366. Now im upgrading to 1155 socket, and i have to buy a completely new one to make it fit the new motherboard :S

  • 15 FPS :D

  • lol, it looks like you bought the unit from the store, went to the parking lot, made the video review, and then went back into the store and said: "Yeah, I'd like to return this please :)"

  • @rfengr Lol

  • @rfengr nah. he has a warehouse with almost all of the pc components on the planet

  • @frenlyguy95 i feel you... i bought the h70 and a tx3 ... the hyper tx3 beats the h70 even if its noisy as hell

  • this vs coolit eco plz tell me reply to this

  • that statue has made my sisters husband

  • You're supersonic

  • lga 1156 sucks cause it doesn't work. and why does linus have a different style of box then mine O.O and different brackets? reply please

  • lga 1156 sucks cause it doesn't work.

  • no love to AMD

  • @toontent AMD is the better, idiot!

  • the H50 is really good, took me like 10 min to install without a manual :P

  • someone's in a hurry......

  • This cooler supports the 1155 socket mounting holes because it's the same with the 1156 socket holes.

  • This cooler also supports 1155 sockets.

  • @mathias921 Thanks ! :D

  • Comment removed

  • @ixy1987 It has it pre applied.

  • @ixy1987 i think it has the liquid inside, you don't have to put any water or any liquid in it, lol just leave it

  • @ixy1987

    #1 - The thermal paste is pre-applied.

#2 - The cooling ''water'' is also pre-applied (filled).

  • this cooler is overated... it work exactly desame like a 60euro fan cooler... what worse is in most review they said that this wont need refill.... OMG thats amazing!!! NO!! WTF!! it only last a year or two!!! its bellow the the waranty which they said they will replace... but still.. would they give another waranty for the next h50? Dont know...

  • Pobre chico con esa forma de hablar tan absurda tipico nerd!

  • This cooler is a sheer winner for me. I got very creative and kinda went mad on this baby. I got a HUGE bucket. Filled it up with ice. I took the fan OFF & threw the darn thingy into the bucket. My god it was like OVERCLOCKING HEAVEN. under 40c FULL LOAD @ 3.5 Ghz on my X4 620 which is over 35% OverClock from 2.6Ghz.

I wonder though, if the fluid inside ever dries up? That's my only concern otherwise this is a winner.

  • @cyberhmoob yes it will... for about 1-2 years. it has warranty but still not that good at all.. OVERATED.

  • @darkj3am Dark, you just hate this baby cause it's awesome. Maybe you didn't know how to install it and wrecked your cpu. I don't know your story but as for many of us this worked. It cools and keeps CPU way down below the 50c mark and if you OC it's never going past 65c tops. It's what it is. A damn good performer for it's little design & price. You can't come close using a NOISY aircooler. I've had the top typhoon, Arctic, & Thermatake models & this beat them all by 7-10c without the NOISE.

  • @cyberhmoob installed it perfectly. it just not what i was expecting.6-8c different between my stock cooler. NOT LIKE WHAT THE REVIEWS SAYS!!! and my room is really cold + its winter.. one more thing is that in allmost all review it says "NO FILLING" so i thought it will never runs out but in corsair Q&A said its "WATER"mix with something and it will only last for 2 years maximum YAY. its so hard to contact them so i think the warranty is a joke which it mean H50 will only last for 2 years max.

  • @darkj3am My results are a bit different from yours though. My room is freaking hot & coming from the more expensive air coolers far more costly this design kinda out performed them greatly and especially around the 65c MAX system load point. Also the stability of installation on my previous coolers didn't hold well as this. I also had issues with room on a few of the LARGE air coolers. BTW I am running AMD x6 core. Maybe Intel runs hotter.

  • Well what i really dislike on this Watercooling Solution is, you dont see the Fuel remaining, which is really sucky, since you will not hear the Pump do bubbles when too low Fluid inside

  • @ASZHanazaki This is a sealed unit, no fluid escapes.

  • When children play in the park, you should do reviews on cameras too even tho u do computers, but it'll be fun how much attention you get on it :D

  • @TheWealthyGuardian yeah until some kid throws a ball overthere and knocks everything off the table

  • @CEEPMDEE it was a pedo joke

  • @TheWealthyGuardian ahhh, I see... XD LOL!

  • Wait! where is the water. ¬¬???

  • @zttaonline In the tubing and reservoir? -_-

  • they shed have made the tubes come off so you can put the cooler on the out side of the case

  • @jakestweeker They didn't so that it wouldn't leak - If it leaked - cause its supposed to be pre sealed and such - Corsair would play the risk of getting fined.

  • does this not work with am3?

  • @krazykamal23 it works on am3 and am4

  • @torridsaber am4 aint out ¿

  • @krazykamal23 It's only available in Japan.

  • @torridsaber ROFL?

    AM4?

  • @cjgan80 Yeah, its the native socket for the new 6-core AMD processors.

  • @torridsaber mmmmm.... interesting...

    Thx for the info...

    i'll look it up

  • @torridsaber ive reaserched am4 and it dont exisit in japan or the moon its bullshit

  • @krazykamal23 Of course your research was to no avail, Goggle doesn't show results from Mars servers. think about how far mars is away and tell me if you could get any kind of information from thousands of light years away? I think not. AM4 only exists there because the frame of time space is bent between these celestial objects to have technology in that region approximately 2 years ahead of our time, give or take a few months.

  • mate why be such a arse¿

  • @krazykamal23 I'm just testing peoples faith in their knowledge.

  • @torridsaber aww just shut up and let people watch the review

  • @krazykamal23 Fine. but remember, you fed the troll.

  • @torridsaber hahaha ok ok

  • Do you have ADHD? Chill man....

  • @GurraPurraXD what u on about mate i think he is the best reviewer on youtube and unboxer so just leave him alone

  • Do you have ADHD? Take it easy man..

  • Corsair H50 or Promilatech Megahalems?

  • Linus, is there anywhere you won't do an unboxing video?

  • I am super confused... soo is there liquid in there??? and if there is do we need to refill it?? and if it dosn't have liquid.. then it is basically a Air condition for your cpu?? PLZ TELL ME HOW THIS WORK.. im building a new computer and i want to get this and i need every detail plz!!!!

  • @lazybomb402 It has liquid in it already and you never have to refill it.

  • @lazybomb402 hello first , sorry for my very bad english ;)

    1. there is already liqued in there.

    2. you can´t refill , so i think but you don´t need to refill it.

3 the fan cool the liquid in the radiator , and a pump pumps the water to the cpu

    and back. An eternal cycle

i hope i can help you with this information... sorry for my english :D:D

  • @rako81sna

Yes liquid is in there :)

you don't need to worry about filling it. you just plug it in and it works :D

but it's worth buying an extra fan so you can put one on each side!

  • Does it fit AM3?

  • @Feightless yes

  • @Feightless Yes. I am currently using this exact cooler with my AM3 CPU. I will be honest. it works fantastic. At room temperature it stays at about 18-25 degrees Centigrade.

  • @Feightless yes it is

  • will this fit in a mid tower case?

  • @AdamWestable all you need is a 120mm fan mount mount.

  • @AdamWestable Oh yeah. with ease.

  • @AdamWestable it will be a tight fit, but yes it will.

  • Should I keep the Thermal Compound what comes with the H50 or replace it with Noctua's NT-H1 Thermal Compound?

  • @Rapagangsta I have tested this thermal paste and it performs on par with the high end paste.

  • so is there no need to buy thermal paste with the H50 and the H70 then?

  • @Satyr910 Its already on there...as he showed you -__-

  • ...WTF?!? why the hell Corsair wants you to mount a fan pulling HOT AIR INSIDE your case?? Are they gone nuts or something?!?

  • @samoht1977 you can customize the airflow yourself

  • He holds it like a dead chicken...

  • your cooler doesnt cool the cpu cools your cooler :D!.

  • You should make a review of CoolIt ECO A.L.C.!

  • is there four or eight fan skrews in there, cause i want to do a push pull config

  • @homokakksakka 4, so u can just use too on each fan like i do, work fine still.

  • Can anyone tell me whcich is the best way to mount the radiator?? is it with the steel piping on the upper side or lower side?? as in like @3:01 or @3:05?? I just got this rad have'nt tested it out yet but i want to install it in good for the first time to get the best performance and not having to turn the rad and re-installing everything from scratch :) Thx

  • where the hell is all the water?

  • @TheRiceburna I think it said that its inside the pump and radiator out of the box

  • @TheRiceburna there is non lol, its a closed loop its got a fluid inside the pipes already :L

  • @TheRiceburna The water is prefilled!

  • can't even watch this because of your voice. disturbing

  • If it's not broken don't fix it. Thats why I like corsair, and their idiot proof packaging.

  • very cooll..

  • the h50 is a horrible cooler

  • omg hahaha what were you thinking?`WHY? are you on drugs?

  • Hey,i love your vids...but i got a question..what is best, Corsair H50 or Cooler Master V8 ? i really cant deside.

  • @bopppo

No contest, the H50 is at least 10C cooler. The V8 barely beats out the Intel Extreme HSF!

  • Do I have to fill it up with some sort of water or something before use? I`m just asking:S

  • Where do you put the water???? :S

  • @Awayze I believe the coolant is already inside.

  • Can you mount the radiator on any 120mm fan, or is it unique to the included fan?

  • @TechnusLlamus I am guessing any, I have mine in use with a Hiper 120mm fan to match the rest of my case and it fits fine. The one provided by Corsair is just a regular 120mm fan, in fact I used it in another one of my builds as a regular chassis fan.

  • @TechnusLlamus Any 120mm fan

  • @TechnusLlamus any 120 mm but needs to have the same dimensions as the one that ships. 125X125X25 I believe, don't quote me on that though. :)

  • HOW MUCH IS THISSSSS!

  • @ShervinGetOffMee YOUR MOMMYYYYY!

  • @ShervinGetOffMee depends where u wanna buy it

  • Hope you review the H70 soon.

  • An updated version called H70 is coming out soon! It will have a thicker radiator, smaller pump and two fans included.

  • maybe you have to put that 120mm fan on your head...

  • does it come with an am3 retention ring

  • more companies need to do coolers like this cus if u ever see a coolermaster V10 u will know wat i am talking about

  • do you need to buy these things or does corsair ship them to you

  • @jasper1881994 Pretty much any computer store has these. Even best buy.

  • why doesnt it have am3?

  • @EddieLolz3r it used not to..now it does =]

  • @EddieLolz3r

    it does

  • Hey does anyone think I could paint the pipes and anything else on it Green UV Reactive Paint? Because you can't really replace the fluid that easily. or could I just put some sorta UV Reactive coil thing around the pipes?

    Thanks,

  • Thanks for another video about how to open a box.

  • they look like x-clamps fron an xbox lol

  • will it work with 1366?

  • @pcgames234 yes it does :D you have core i7 920?

  • @BazZa447 no man, i got the intel 980x i got it from intel for $495

  • @pcgames234 fuck me dead thats brilliant :D it's $1295 australian :(

  • Comment removed

  • @BazZa447 i got like half off and ima keep the 980x until a REALLY better one releases

  • DONT YELL

  • will it work with amd 3? I'm building a computer with amd phenom 2 x6

  • @JetJL yes

  • kid voice

  • would some of you recommend using the pre installed thermal compound or add some new

its for a amd phenom 965

  • @EddieLolz3r I would just use the pre installed paste because it is probably MX-2 which is pretty good. Unless you have better like MX-3 then stick with it. Also removing thermal compound is a pain.

  • So like? Do we get a discount on the items Linus opens?

  • does anyone knows how much cooling capacity the cooler is ?

  • Good review..but you do it so fast it makes me feel like your trying to do a review before your boss catches you playing around while on the clock. LOL Nice box opening.

  • Is this a lot better than the Arctic Freeze Pro 7 Rev 2? I can't decide whether to go WC or AC. The AFP 7 is a lot cheaper for me over here in UK. I'm trying to overclock my stock Core 2 Quad Q8200 2.33 since I just got a Geforce 9800GT. Hoping to get it to 3Ghz or there abouts.
