There's a place in Massachusetts called Quabbin Reservoir, where they eliminated 4 towns so Boston could have drinking water. My father's family came from there, and I would love to bring MK there,as I'm sure he could do an albums worth of material based on its history.

The song is actually about a guy driving an Albion Motors lorry (she's an Albion) from Scotstoun in Glasgow over the border to England (My Scotstoun lassie)....his house overlooked the Albion depot when he lived in Glasgow...and Albion Motors sloggan was "Sure as the Sunrise". Very beautiful song!!!!!

this song is not about the "border reivers" directly but about a scottish truck driver driving a truck called "albion reiver" .. the manufacturer (albion) had a sunrise emblem on their trucks. Which explains the phrase "sure as the sunrise, thats what they say about the albion.''

I have verified this with a friend from glasgow.
