How do you buy the Game? When it's out i know there are 2 ways you can get it, you pay i certain amount of money each month and you can just buy it. But if i JUST buy the game CD will i still have to pay? Cause i really wanna play this once i get it for my birthday or christmas and i don't wanna pay extra money

I've got pioneer status but it's tnx to mission 2 and I know all codes in mission 1. But i don't get mission 3 cuz it's moving by itself?? And can you write codes in mission 3. Cuz it's not a code like darklings?

@WarpForceMod It scrambles itself at first. Then you have to slide the pieces back to the way they were at the beginning, and it will tell you a code to enter.

I see they did away with the toilet seat logo. Another shame is that they're cooperating with the ESRB. That means that it's a "game", not a virtual world like Second Life. They're probably going to charge for it too. I bet they're even going to have a moderating staff! This is bullshit. My dreams of Lego sex are over. :(

Of course! Have you ever visited the LEGO website? It is the most over moderated thing in the world! It's crazy how much it is. At least this game will have live chat. They have said from the beginning that it will be child safe and have a moderating staff, and that it will have a subscription cost.

This game will be child safe to the extreme. Of course there will be word filters, they probably won't even stop at that, they'll think of something so there is not even the remotest chance of anything bad getting through. I don' know about player moderators. If you mean building restrictions by size, no, you can build something as big as you want with the bricks you collected in game. But they will be moderated to be appropriate and not copyright infringing.

What, like an automated filter that blocks combinations of bricks? If one were to build something from instructions, would that be copyright infringement?

@h8s2 I doubt there would be automated building filters. Each one has to be filtered by a moderator. LEGO instructions shouldn't be infringing. But if you build like a LEGO superman, LEGO could get sued for it being in the game. Actually, some instructions probably would not be OK, like Star Wars, LEGO hasn't gotten licenses to use those type of themes in the game.

...yet. There is Lego Star Wars. But more worrying is that comment "Each one has to be filtered by a moderator." Where did you hear that? From what I heard, people build their creations in a public place and can ask each other for help, etc.

Each server has its own theme, and therefore there will be a main server where everybody goes due to its neutrality, like World 1 in RuneScape. Of course it will be somewhat moderated, and one can expect wordfilters, but waiting for moderator approval is not practical in a game of this scale, and many people would just switch to Second Life or Roblox instead.

Yes, it would be kind of annoying, but that is the way it is on the LEGO website. Every creation you upload, every comment you leave, every forum post is moderated before it appears. I hope LEGO Universe will be better, it at least has live chat. Apparently, the new way they devised is so ingenious that they are not at liberty to disclose it...
