i have both, but im not sure which to use, due to the fact i never see anyone in videos use King Thunder Sword

i did this quest on my first try, i knew it was going to be hard so i brang 2 max potions, ancient potion, 10 mega potions, and the rest of the regular stuff, killed both of them with 3 mega potions left over

i just used full kirin armor+

and the GS judgment

you cant get the silver los helm no matter how many times you do this quest because, you need a ruby for each single piece of armor from the silver los, and you only get rubys from the G class quest's

ive got rath soul with BB vambs and i used TT i killed ian and had 20 min left but i had no healing items left and was on last death so i got screwed...i culd of beat it but now im gonna get HR4 and get devil slicer and do it again

I used Thundertip. Rathalos and Rathian are weak against thunder, so I guess it's effective. However, I haven't been able to kill Rathian yet, and I've died 5 times. But I'm trying...

lol my defence is 216 i still cant do it then again im only using eager cleaver

Eager Cleaver and some mediocre armor is all I ever needed. Just keep trying, if you have a 216 armor then you can certainly upgrade the Eager Cleaver

I have 196 Defence, and Sharpness + 1 and Detect (LOL).

But with Sharpness + 1, Devil Slicer gets white sharpness? :)

i have some tips to kill it 1. go after the boths tails and cut them 2. go after rathian until it die and after go after rathalos and you win i do this and i complet this quest you lose very much hp if you attack them both in same time

My defense was somewhere around 200. If you're doing this quest with low defense, you will probably need flash bombs and traps.
