Lots of the Southern styles share similar techniques and basics; after all, the goal is always the same - defeat your opponent. There's only so many ways that actually work, thus it's understandable - if not downright obvious that there will be overlaps.
The main difference between Snake and Wing Chun (purely from observation of Snake Fist in this video) is that Snake Fist emphasize less on the Bridges (defense).
I like the way the snake fist is incorporated. Though the stances and principles are mostly wing chun they are nicely molded together. Because the true snake fist has very limited fighting applications using cat, horse, shifting horse stances.
The Wing chun and the snake fist share a lot of similiarity, especially if you are using in for the street. The Stances that you mention are only use for training the legs and for form purposes.
wow man this is a really great style, can ou tell me what style it is? your stances look quite similar to that of wing chun but ive never seen snake form in this style, great vids though mate keep them comming.
Gee Mike, you've been putting so many videos here with WC tag but have nothing to do with WC. I'm very much tempted to bash you nevertheless. However, I think about the 'cool-aid' bottle tip you gave me and I appreciate that a lot so I'll let you off the hook this time. Hehehehe...=O I hope your next clip will be 'snake oil application'....cheers.

You need to condition your hands and do iron palm to make this real affective. It's something that alot of martial artist neglect.

I was saying you're very good and it's the first time I see the "real" snake fist (not all that wushu crap).
