I think if we replace 'love' with 'desire', the sentence still makes a great sense. No one is infallible, and as mortal we are all prone to desires. Do we control our desire or let it dominate us, it's always a good question to ask, constantly.
If you take out all the 'Jedi' parts of this conversation, you're left with a very honest, beautiful and helpful piece of advice. Something we all ought to bear in mind when thinking about love.

one of the things i love about kotor that i just dont find in lucas' movies is the complexity of the characters and storyline. Jolee is the perfect example of the kind of well thought out complex mature aspects of the game.
