pretty good editing...they used the Hulk from Ang Lee's HULK as Darkseid and I think one of the bad guys from League of Extraordinary Gentlemen as Parasite...but it was pretty convincing at first

I'm gonna have to disagree with that. He has a perfect face for Clark Kent (whom he plays in the series) and in the clip you can see when he gets intense, makes a perfect Superman. As for being too young, I believe Tom Welling is older the Routh.

Tom Welling is by far the best superman there ever was....and you just can't make a superman without him.

A lot of people don't realize that when he signed on to Smallville he required that his contract specifically stated there be "No tights or costumes"

So, unfortunately he'll always be the super-hero in a plaid shirt.
