That's a ROTAX, The Grissly Dual track has a similar engine but it's about 500cc... engine is a workorse and runs like hell on a two carb setup... about 40-50 Hp I guess it might be... so don't go buildig a chair ride out of that one... unless tou have a deathwhish buddy :o)

pug, thats a 377 rotax out of a skidoo. you need to get a primer kit for it so that you dont need to cover the carb. that engine does not have a choke on it . if they blow up they're cheap to rebuild too, about $100.

That old 11hp B&S was doing what my old one use to do. I traced it down to a leaky float. It would fill with fuel and sink to the bottom of the bowl, leaving that little fuel antler wide open and over flowing the whole works, spilling fuel into and out the bottom of the carb like crazy! I would suggest this be the issue with yours, but you seem to know what wrong with it anyway.
