  • Wow. I like this. Nice country twang voice there! Love that mandolin too!

  • Got to say that Country isn't really my thing....but this is a lovely tune played very nicely and sung very well. Always to see videos of groups of people Jamming together for the love of the music. I'll be learning this song at our monthly Ukulele meet-up on Saturday so wanted to check out the tune before I arrived and boy am I glad I did!!.....looking forward to learning it now....Saturday can't come too soon. Thanks!!

  • @mreoinobrien Great! Let me know if and when you upload it. It was very nice of you to comment, even though it's not your kind of music..Thank you very much Sir, and best wishes from the hills..

  • All I know for sure is that you're a very rude man..young or old...who would really care...

  • @mountnmonkey explain please. what is your basis for saying that? because I made a friendly comment about socks and shoes?? you then start talking about gays and nazis!!!! i am not rude sunshine, but you DO have issues

  • music and singing is FINE but white socks and black shoes? oh dude, what were you thinking :)

  • @Romamb Around here the only ones "into" fashion are women and gays...so i'm thinkin' .....I sure hope your a girl..

  • @mountnmonkey i aint from 'around here' i guess round your way you're a lil scared of gays? where i'm from women and 'gays' as you put it, arent into white socks with black shoes, so y'all have nothing to worry about. maybe the women over there take whatever they can get!

  • @Romamb Ya, we're a little afraid of gays I guess, but not so long ago, many a young man was walking out of these mountains to their recruiting stations to come and help your folks out in a war that wasn't ours...you need to thank God that hillbillies weren't afraid of the Nazi..

  • @mountnmonkey what you talkin bout sunshine? you're scared of gays and nazis now? you got some issues dude. oh, and guessing y'all are scared of yanks too ;)

  • @Romamb Well yes..but with good reason...Yanks will slap the taste out of a young punks mouth..

  • @mountnmonkey if they did that do you, then that is unfortunate. but you should be mindful of who you are dealing with

  • @Romamb You can rest assured of one thing young man...I have dealt with worse...have a nice day..

  • @mountnmonkey Why would I rest assured that you have dealt with worse? makes no difference to me. And what makes you think I am a 'young man'? or was that a very tame effort at being condescending? either way,

    option 1: you are wrong

    option 2: you failed :)

  • Mike has a great range ... that was pretty high at the end

  • @Rikkyhardo Yeah...he likes to show off his young vocal cords to make us old guys look bad..lol..

  • when you make a mistake and can smile about it speaks for its self keep up the good music

  • Yes.... but when you try to claim it's the first one you've ever made, it can raise a few eyebrows...lol...thanks for dropping in..*ron

  • Earl is my buddy, but he gets me up around 4 am every morning, yesterday another 93 dollars to vet to have him looked at after fighting with his neighbor again. He seems to forget he has very few teeth left to fight with, vet had to remove three more about a month ago, another 400 dollars....lol...He's making me go broke, but I wouldn't take a million dollars for him...Thanks for coming by Marta, and keep loving music and those walking hairballs...

  • Yep, happens to me all the time Roy...thanks for looking in..

  • Yes there is...he can't sing a lick, other than that..he's born to boogie..lol..thanks for looking in on us John..

  • On the memory thing Ron. I worked with an old guy who said that when you are old you remember more. You remember that you forgot. when young, you don't remember that you forgot.!!!!???? LOL John

  • I waltzed.....and knocked over a cat!!

Great tune and great singing, Mike!!

Oh..and the rest of y'all did pretty good too!!

    ;-)

  • LOL! ... poor cat...I had to retrieve mine(Earl) at 1:am last night. He was arguing with his neighbor...seems there was some sort of dispute over who could cross the driveway...

  • Yep..this guy is always under foot....mine at least. He was another rescue..abused by an apt. full of college guys. I renamed him Romeo..it was Ninja...in the hopes it would mellow him out. It has...but he still growls and hisses at any and all men!

  • I've always been treated like that by the ladies............cats....they seem to like me..

  • Hi Rod,
