If you have a contract no women can do that useless he waived his right stated on the contract. For an example he said that he signed a contract but then after the baby was born he starts acting like its his child by spending time with the child or whatever then yeah he should pay. But if she calls up out of the blue talking about you should pay for CS. Then by law stated on the contract he doesn't have to do anything. That why you have one

@Robinsnl That makes no sense, if you "act" like the father, even if you have a contract that says that "under no circumstances can you ever be the father", you can be sued into paying child support? Even if the terms of the contract say that this man may have contact with his child but is not a father, because he maintained contact with the child, he is responsible for payments? That makes no sense at all. Say it was in the reverse and the mother did the same thing, should he be able to sue?
@anikinippon Thats is why you go into details about everything.EVERYTHING You read EVERYTHING that is in the contract before you sign it. I have donor who wants to be contacted by the child and wants have pics. I signed a contract stated that he wants to be known but not the father. Which means that my son knowns about his "dad" but I will not ever look to him for anything. my son can talk to him and yes he calls him dad but he understands that he(the donor) cannot be dad.
@Robinsnl I don't get your point, I mean it seems moot because he knew he was the father and when he signed the contract, it meant he was not legally the father, and still had to pay child support despite the contract.
@anikinippon What is this that you are not getting. He is not going to pay for anything because we understood what are rights are. He ( the donor) have no real contact with his son other talking to him on the phone and pics every once in a while. BUT he (the donor) isn't an active member of my sons life what so ever. It might have helped a lot of these men who are being sued to have had a lawyer read the contract with him so that he understands what is he can do to prevent himself from being sue

All I have to say about that is
BURN DOWN ALL SPERM BANKS!!!
Men deserve better than to make such a careless
mistake. The money a man earns from such an
otherwise "noble" deed will more than likely end up
going back into the system AND MORE.
At the end of the day, donating sperm is both
useless and DANGEROUS!

You signed away everything when you made the donation. So to come back later and decide you owe them something? No.
