Yield is an absolute masterpiece, hands down their most ambitious & inspired record. Whilst it isnt quite as accessible as Ten or Vitalogy it really grows on you the whole album joins itself together perfectly- its not just a collection of great songs, its a full listening experience, as in you are meant to listen to it the whole way through. thats what makes it PJ's best album
does anyone else dream about just driving down a completly empty highway with nothing but desert or grassland for miles in all directions just like in this commercial? I do.
my first pearl jam cd! and to this day my favorite pearl jam song! i've had this album since 1999 and it's still in perfect condition.... plan on it being in the same shape after the next ten years.
Yeah, you're point is weak thunderFence. Pearl Jam were best when they were making the music they were happy making, and making the choices they wanted to make. And it's hardly like Sony/Epic were dictating PJ on what to do - PJ have always been respected as a band who have done things their own way, i.e. releasing Who You Are as the lead single of No Code following up Vitalogy.

I remember how surprized I was to see a commercial for Pearl Jam considering how anti-commercial they'd been in their early years.

Pearl Jam was best when Epic/Sony were guiding them instead of Ed & The Cunt Squad from TenClub
thunderFence 5 years ago
yeah, it's always better when a corporation makes decisions for a band instead of the band itself... ass.
