  • this is even more discussting than 2 girls 1 cup ewwwwww

how can people eat these kind of food !!

  • @cmajd20 First they obtain the eating apparatus, they then proceed to gasp the apparatus appropriatly, allowing for the deft movements used to clasp the food. Once your apparatus is obtained and poised to possess food item you then advace towards the food item, use the maneuver I breifly mentioned to ensnare your food item. When the food item is sucessfully ensnared, should be easy cause it's like dead, place food item in your mouth to devour and absorb the neutrients. S'how to eat bro.

  • hey when i die shove a funnel up my ass and chug as much soysauce as you can and film it XD you'll get 100 thousand pounds from AFV

  • Please... somebody stop the soya sauce!!!

  • i'm in the weird corner of youtube again....

  • GET TO THE CHOPPO

  • GET TO THE CHOPPO

  • Poor Squidward, what have they done to you?

  • Creepy...

  • What if you accidently used too much and it escaped...? Zombie apocolypse begins?

  • note to self: I refuse to eat anything still moving, dead or alive.

  • why does it do that?!

  • @BowieBabeTJ nerve endings + salt in soy sauce = movement...

That's the simple answer anyway, I'm not too sure how to explain it better :L

  • @DannieShaw1990 wrong. it is not dead -- yet. it's a korean food "dish" called Sannakji. the head with the "brain" is cut off but the octopus is still alive. the reason it squirms is because it is reacting to the pain of HOT soy sauce. the salt/nerve endings thing is the explanation to the frogs legs. this is something entirely different.

  • @TheGenghisKhunt

If it's head is chopped in half, destroying it's brain, then it's dead.

Many other people have also given the explanation I gave and I considered removing my comment because they explained it a lot better. (not as simply..)

Yes salt and frogs legs do work, but what I said is right.

The squid is dead. It's the nerve endings and the salt in the soy sauce.

A Japanese friend of mine even reassured me of this...

I'm more inclined to believe my friend than someone over the internet.

  • @TheGenghisKhunt Also if you still don't believe me you can check the description for pretty much the same answer from the person who uploaded it.

So no need to worry ^^ x

  • playing with your food...

    your doing it right.

  • The squid obviously is not amused.

  • The sodium in the soy sauce causes the nerve endings to react spontaneously. The octopus is dead, folks, but the existing nerve endings are just be given "sparks", so to speak.

  • Uncooked calamari. (~ o w o )~

  • Sad :(

  • cruel

  • Bunnies271 yes yes it is

  • Bunnies275

  • I find this barbaric

  • @femkehonigh it is dead the salt in the soy sauce makes its nerve react.

  • @femkehonigh its food get over it

  • @femkehonigh why? It's dead.

  • But mom! My dinner ran away!!!

  • man that squid loves soy sauce

    kid: lets put soy sauce

    squid: SOY SAUCE

  • its dead but the nerves react to soysauce(salt in it) making it move

  • @Satheasiea You are very correct, more specifically the Na+ ions in salt are the same ions that are used in sending neurological signals throughout our bodies.

  • is the top of its head cut off?

  • Not a squid! At least learn the name before you kill and eat..

  • that mean the squid still alive >:(

  • @dhanty120182 im surprized your still alive with your brain capacity, darwin must be rolling over in his grave

  • How can you eat that shit?

  • Im supposed to be doing home work. How the fuck did I get here??

  • Squid: (maybe if i don't move, they'll get bored and leave me alone...with just enough time to get awa-

    Person: mmm *pours soy sause*

Squid: OMIGOD! Hot! hot! what the F* was that! gaaaah! it burns my eyes

Me: D: *almost throws laptop across the room*

  • Ive seen enough hentai to know where this is going

  • That's okay... I didn't want to sleep tonight, anyway.

  • you people are all wrong, look up sodium potassium pumps and you will know what happens, it has nothing to do with the nerve endings but the muscle itself. the sodium with in the soy sauce mimics natural sodium allowing for the release of potassium that is still in the muscle allowing it to contract creating movement. the nerves are dead, its the muscle itself..duh!

  • @AbbieLooWho yea lol the same shit happens with frog legs

  • @AbbieLooWho

Don't try man. Most of the people in Youtube going against animal abuse are idiots who doesn't seem to understand this octopus is dead.

  • @AbbieLooWho you tell them!

  • mooooooooooooom im scared :(

  • Why'd you pour that salty shit all in my EEYYYEEES!

  • Shit! I feel a little bit sorry for this guy

  • I think he is trying to signal something to us, anyone sign in squid? Marlee Matlin could

  • This so wrong, put the squid out of it misery!

  • @TreeslayerX its already dead.

  • @TreeslayerX it is dead any salt like substance make exposed muscle twitch

  • @TreeslayerX your not too bright eh?

  • I'm scared mommy...

  • This squid is not alive, the salt makes it's muscles fire when it's freshly killed. Just like the frog legs... calm down people.

  • Urrgh, I'm fuckin here again..

  • Yes, the squid is dead, so that's the soy sauce who's alive and trying to communicate!!

  • squid: DIS SOY IS SO DELICIOIUS IMA DO A JIG TO IT!!!!!

  • Where's Sponge Bob?

  • @gotmilkboy86 already eaten

  • I use this as an excuse to play with my food.

  • HOW DID I EVEN GET HERE????????

  • Don't touch it!

  • And your going to eat that .... :- :O

  • It is in no pain because it does not have a brain.

  • Wtffffffffffff

  • :O

TEH SOI SAWS HAZ POWAHZ !!!!!!!¡¡¡¡¡

  • @mamaluigi2867 what did u say? i couldnt understand, i dont speak retard

  • Kill it with fire!!!!!!! again!

  • @southerngal1130

Oh, don't feel bad. You're not alone on that one, mate. I'm Asian myself, so I've eaten squid, and octopus. But never like this. And if it started moving when I put soy sauce on it, I would probably run out of the restaurant screaming. Well actually, I highly doubt that I could ever even attempt to eat this. It looks too much like it's staring at you. And that's creepy. D:

  • @jadaskylar you like to stick with eating only dolphin and whale eh?

  • Even though I know it's dead, I think I would have a hard time eating it after it danced for me...

  • Dumbasses the squids already dead. It's just the salt from the soy sauce reacting with the body causing it to twitch. Similar with frogs legs.

  • Mmm is that miso soup next to that?

  • You guys are sick SICK sick sick sick how would you like being half dead then pored over with soa sauce and then being cooked alive and chewed KILL IT first put it out of it's misery

  • @mathildav12 You're a dickhead. It's not half dead, it's completely dead, it's muscle is being stimulated by the salt

  • @mathildav12

The squid is already dead. The salt/sugars in the soy sauce stimulate the still-functionable nerves. Notice how it's legs flail more wildly as the sauce is poured on them and then subsequently slow down. Cephalopod's legs are not controlled directly by the brain, so they can still function after death, since brain death is what we use to determine "real" death (as opposed to say, cardiac arrest). Something similar can happen in humans. Look up the "Lazarus reflex".

  • @mathildav12 not the sharpest tool in the shed, are you

  • what the hell am i doing here?!?!

i should do a presentation but instead i watch this ...

  • I have always thought of my martial arts training as similar in skill set to dancing, yet have never been a dancer. I know understand that the solution is to remove my brain and bathe in soy sauce.

  • it's the nanapus!

  • reminds me of a headcrab O-o

  • that is not a squid.. squid is too different to octopus

  • "Stop it you fools! I'll be over-seasoned!"

  • Omg. That's so gross.

  • the human race is going to hell LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • fucking animal torturers... and they think it's funny and cute

  • @hottdog2007 It's not animal torture. The squid is dead; the sodium in the soy sauce causes the nerve cells to twitch.

  • @hottdog2007 i think your lack of intelligence is funny and cute

  • its dead, just that the soy sauce (sodium) made it move from the nerve cells

  • Tadeus just dancing lol.

  • i would not dare myself to eat this!

  • ok i just have to say this, the squid is dead. the salt in the just makes it move. somehow. i'll have to google this.

  • Damn. I kinda feel sorry for that squid.

  • The salt in the soy sauce make it do that, just like it does when you put salt on frog legs.

  • damn talk about your food getting up and leaving

  • so the secret to life is soy sauce, who would have ever guessed

  • @cr9527 You clearly have no idea how America prepares those animals before they kill them. It is cruel and you should learn how they work at a slaughterhouse.

  • You've gotta be squiddin' me.

  • @ShinigamiEater You make laugh as shit!

  • @RadickSeries Read your comment again. I think a few things went wrong there.

    Such as grammar.

  • bull shit thats alive!

  • @ElChikoRandom nope its dead, the salt in the soy sauce makes the squids nerve endings spaz out, its actually dead

  • That's just too cool!

  • now thats just fucking creepy

  • Japanese are stupid like FUCK!!!....shit on JAPAN!!!

  • @ilovemusic6223 it's dead dumbass.

  • @Cowmelk - go fuck your mother BASTARD douchBAG!!!!

  • @ilovemusic6223 your stupidity amazes me. you are clearly angry and i am right, and you are wrong. so, the only thing you could resort to is insults. pathetic, honestly.

  • chew your own shit you fucking squid.

  • Squid: "TOO MUCH SOY SAUCE!!!! IMMA BE TOO SALTY! "

  • ew O.e

  • Squidwards got some moves!!! xD

  • @MBFlamingBoxer It's not Squidward I don't see his nose so it's not him.

  • @cookiesgood1 it was a joke...

  • @cookiesgood1 you know he was joking right?

  • @ninjawhale03 He's joke failed then.

  • @cookiesgood1 uhh I don't exactly know what you mean by that but if that's what you think then that's what you think

  • How can you eat that? its...its like jesus, it came back to life

  • @Flabbylaura1 Well first you put it in your mouth, chew it than swallow it :D.

  • @Flabbylaura1 i agree. know it is the undead you would be knowing you are mainlining zombie juice........ and what if it is the squid god come back to save all the bad sqids souls... eating him would be rude. btw that video i gross and disturbing.

  • is it really dead ?! thas all kool!!!

  • Lol the first person to find this out must have shit their pants.

  • @njord19 Your comment made me laugh.

  • SQUIDWARDIAAAARD

  • Lmao at it crawling out of the bowl.

  • Oh its dead, it has sauce on it, weird animal rights protesters (butterfly bummers) FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU shit happens :)))

  • RUN SQUIDWARD RUN!!!

  • I hate when dead things moves on their own (yes I readed) I find this quite... creepy...

  • atleast it's fresh

  • I woulda slapped it and said SIT THE FUCK DOWN I'M HUNGRY

  • at least the fuckin Asians eat every part of the animal. you guys won't even look at the liver.

  • Ugh.......hippies.....-_-

  • @shakethegame23 join us

  • its not yet dead

this is like a person being shot in this body but still moving until dead since to much blood puring out.

the same with this squid its still alive thats why its moving

  • @alexshai It has no brain. The mantle's gone, it's more like a man who's been gutted and is now dead, but his muscle tissue still work. Without a brain, you feel no pain, so the squid wouldn't have anything to fear. Can't see, feel, hear, smell, taste, nothing.

  • @ceviche789 it's weird and makes my stomach curl, why do the muscles and nerves keep doing that with squid? even when you cut legs off, I've seen people eating them wiggling. Ewww.

  • @alexshai

Also, look up with sodium does to dead muscle tissue. Moving does NOT mean it's alive.

  • even if it was alive its not that cruel.... i mean what do you think happens to a fish getting eaten by a shark? we are just sharks that use forks. get over it ppl.

  • @holybad WE ARE NOT SHARKS, HUMANS ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE A CONSCIOUS. APPARENTLY SOME DON'T AND ENJOY WATCHING ANIMALS, CRITTERS, CHILDREN, BEINGS LOOK LIKE THEY ARE SUFFERING >> THAT IS THE ISSUE.

  • I was about to say how awful that was, but then I realized that it was dead. Pretty cool!

  • I've heard that if you douse it in ponzu and the restaurant plays Trick Daddy, the squid dances lewdly and "teabags" shocked diners.

  • is it wrong i cracked up?

  • the squid was like:GET OFF OF ME!

  • Whoa, science is crazy. I would never eat this, though.

  • we meet aging weird part of youtube. -____- i was watching bunnies....

  • @MainStayNike I WAS TOO.

  • Ahhh YouTube. Anytime I think that humanity can appreciate other cultures, I can just pop onto the comment section to give myself a reality check.

Also: reading. It's a good thing. The poster explains in the comment box that the squid is DEAD. The neurons in the tentacles are reacting because of the salt in the soy sauce. I know, I know. "SCIENCE IS STOOPID. IM ON UTUBE TO LAUGH NOT LEARN." But really, taking the two seconds to read the info box keeps you from looking like an idiot.

  • Found this on Tumblr. LOLOLOL

  • In an alternate universe, this squid is a giant mutant monster brutally tentacle raping a random human victim. >:D

  • Its not really alive guys...thats just a reaction octopus and squid have to salt kinda like a slug...

  • THAT IS GROSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

  • NO. IT IS DEAD!

  • hahah stupid those who thought seriously is alive ...

  • My reaction..

    WHAT THE FUH- BOOM!

  • Funny how all you guys call this cruel when you guys probably don't even know how we get our hamburgers and other meat products here in America. People over there actually respect their food.

  • @ChokedByRainbows

Well that's a very broad assumption on both parts.

  • @ChokedByRainbows Mmmmm processed grade D beef :3

  • @ChokedByRainbows I'm asian, and uhh nah we dont really respect our food you know..

  • @ChokedByRainbows yea, people should go to the "mercy for animals" channel. I think thats what its called... all i remember is the title of the main video, "from farm to fridge"

  • @ChokedByRainbows That's right. People just pick up a package of meat in the grocery store, completely clueless as to how it got in that package. Go to a slaughter house and see the cow before it becomes a tasty burger on your plate. You couldn't pay me to eat this gross thing though because I'm not accustomed to it...ugh

  • @ChokedByRainbows Well as an american i dont like it when my big mac is trying to run away sir !

  • @ChokedByRainbows Yes, respect your food.

  • @ChokedByRainbows

I don't see how this is respect...

In America, Cows and Pigs are killed instantly, minimal suffering.

    Is that not respect?

  • @cr9527 Chickens are kept inside the dark where they see nothing.

I saw a documentary, and they took the chickens -grabbing their legs- and putting them in cages just like that and if one dies, injured in the process it is left there till the chicken farm owner comes and cleans it up.

I see no respect in that.

  • @cookiesgood1

Does grabbing them by their legs, or putting them in cages involve any physical harm?

No? Then it's sufficient respect for food.

  • @cr9527 It does, they do it like they don't give a single fawk about the animals, which is why some of them end up dead or hurt.

  • @cookiesgood1

If it did, a hell lot more would be dead than just a few of them.
