but is there a way to transfer apps?

  • is there a way to save my playlists and transfer it over to the new computer. i have about 44000 songs and don't want to rebuild my playlist over again.

  • why buy discs or an external hard drive to do this? why dont you already use the equipment you have? your ipod! have a look at my channel how to do it

  • @Captainwinky84 what if I just listen my music on iTunes but have no iPod, and I want the same music on my secondary PC? :P :P :P

  • I have a PC, not a Mac. I've copied to ex. hd dr. I can locate the itunes file on my ex. hard drive. I went to add to library. Don't have the choose option. Are you working with a mac? is that why I can't seem to do this???

    Thank you!

  • uhh du, uh so you uhhh. ummmm... click on that and uhhhh.

  • anyone have about 3 blank CD's i could borrow? haha

  • awe now you only have 500Gbs of external H-drive memory :-(

  • Does this work for the apps, videos , and iPod settings?

  • I'm concerned with my album covers...took me ages to get every one of them rightXD

  • i guess this doesnt work unless you have an external drive?

  • well theres always cd's.... your prob gonna need alot haha

  • @TheMrTutorials haha yeah probably...i have like1500 songs... there's no point in buying them with an itunes card

  • if i have a new laptop and im transfering songs from my old computer, which has a virus so i cant turn it on, how do i do it? if i plug my ipod which has over $80 worth of songs and it syncrinizes to my blank itunes libraty, will it wipe my ipod, or will it fill my library with the songs on my ipod? please help me.

  • @kaosfreak11, I know there is a way to transfer your songs from your ipod to a new computer. There are tutorials online.

  • does this work for apps???

  • what about the apps that you have on the ipod? will those delete once I sync it with new computer?

  • I just got quick time 7 pro and I've been going crazy trying to transpose audio using logic 8 . If you are familiar with what Im talking about PLEASE a little help here. Ive been at it for a week now and my hair is turning grey. All I want to do is transpose some kareoke tracks to my vocal range. Thanks.

  • does this work if you have bought the music as well?

  • what about playlists bitch? Expert Village sucks.

  • herro

  • Yeah but once you unplug the hard drive it won't find any of the songs. It'll ask for it's original location.

  • @NYCRyderman Thats happened to me before. Do you know how to do it right? Where it doesnt ask for the "original location"?? Please reply back

  • @PoundHard123 Yeah, you take your current itunes folder and transfer it to the external drive. Then, on the new PC you replace that iTunes folder with the one from your external drive and you're done! All play lists and track info remains the same. Any further questions, inbox me.

  • will this work on pc and a usb flash drive?

  • Can you use a memory stick?

  • Thanks for the assistance! I have another issue though. I had all my music at an external HD. Now I transferred it to my computer, but, after importing the playlists, it doesn't find the files because it is still looking for the old location.

Is there anyway you can show me how to do this? Starting fresh with all the playlists would really be a huge bummer.

    Thanks in advance

  • Thanks!

    Very Helpful :D

  • he makes it easy! Thanks for the tutorial!
