I'm a social worker and I've seen many, many cases of children abusing and even beating up their parents, severely. This really could have been an emergency, particularly if the child had mental health issues. Can you imagine if the caller had actually been injured or killed by her daughter? There would have been an uproar instead of it being a "funny" joke on youtube.

What if the child was on a rampage in public, being violent towards people or destroying property? I don't like the woman but the guy she called always needs to remember that you can't be sarcastic when you work as a phone receptionist. Just one of those things, when you're in the Army you can't smart off to your drill instructor, when you're going through airport security you can't make jokes about carrying bombs, etc. It's very tempting sometimes but you just can't succumb to it.
