I totally agree! But I also believe there's a certain boundry of immaturity and that some people are able to switch between mature and immature. Yes, I admit that I can be immature sometimes. But I do know when I need to be mature or when I can be immature. Sure, I do things that are immature and I'm not afraid to admit that. I regret things I've said and done. I will only learn from those stupid actions&words and they will help me grow up. I'm 14, far from perfect and not grown up yet.

I realize that I've been more immature than ever since a year or two ago. This is terrible. Never threw a tantrum as a kid, I threw one at my Mom last fall. I think wrong doing cannot equal being immature, it's just not the same. Many people do wrong things for the wrong reasons, but I believe it's not because of immaturity. Things you list from 4:25 onwards have a reason and are too complex for outsiders to understand. Situations shouldn't be judged by simply saying: 'Oh, that was immature!'

I do agree with some of the points you make in this video, but for once I do have to disagree with you on your opinion. If one were to judge someone's level of maturity based on what you just stated, then there is not one person waking this planet that is mature. If anything, this reminds me of the "seven deadly sins". Only seven sins but enough to make EVERYONE on this planet a sinner for acting on at least one of them. You ARE a child. You are 18. A "mature" individual is someone who understands that they will never have all of the answers. As you grow older, your convictions become less certain. The world is not black and white -- it is many, many complex shades of grey. You're very young so I don't expect you to fully grasp this concept quite yet, not to sound patronizing or anything. I'm sure one day you will.

I realize that I've been more immature than ever since a year or two ago. This is terrible. Never threw a tantrum as a kid, I threw one at my Mom last fall. I sometimes respond in bitter sarcasm being not able to handle my conflict emotions. Thanks for reminding me all the immature behaviours I had had, and I thus will improve as I grow.

Great video! I think that maturity is about taking responsibility for your life and what you do. My dad is 46, but he is still like kid. When he fail something, he always dump it on other people. It is really hard to live with him.

Well I'm an apathetic person by nature. Only reason I'd let people know is cuz I care enough to let them know I don't care. I don't necessarily like to ignore people. Guess I'm a nice guy who doesn't care. Difference is I hide my apathy. If people truly knew I didn't care about life's issues, they'd probably hate me.
That's the one thing apathy can't cover...acceptance. Humans need to be accepted. I could give a damn what political party is in office, but I'd rather not piss anyone off for it.

My best friend's level of immaturity is laughable. We haven't spoken for 5 days because her ego is getting in the way. I tried to talk to her and I was met with an abundance of offensive words. She insisted on calling me many derogatory names, but I am willing to forgive her because I miss her.

I think wrong doing cannot equal being immature, it's just not the same. Many people do wrong things for the wrong reasons, but I believe it's not because of immaturity. Things you list from 4:25 onwards have a reason and are too complex for outsiders to understand. Situations shouldn't be judged by simply saying: 'Oh, that was immature!'
The example of deleting facebook content made me laugh though. It may matter to people, but to me there are way more important things in life than facebook.
