take the time in your day to help others... And as a Mexican American, I find it

offensive to see some rude remarks about prefering a Mexican Women Teaching

  • I really enjoyed this video. I don't like store bought beans and now thanks to you I can make them taste so yummy. Thank you.

  • use fresh products, dont be lazy

  • Canned beans, really? Wow that's authentic. NOT. You dressed up sub par canned mashed beans, please learn to cook from scratch. Your beans will not only look better, but taste better as well.

  • how about you dice half an onion, add the peppers and open a can? thanks for wasting 5 minutes of my life. enjoy the states...

  • @pmharl They didn't waste 5 minutes of your life. Obviously, you had nothing better to do, but surf YouTube, so don't act like you had something *important* planned for those 5 minutes. Don't kid yourself.

  • wow this is not very natural receipe ....I sure it great

  • dont use can beans no good cook yours n less is more beans n oil 2 things to make refried beans

  • you guys are very cool.

  • Thank U pretty young ladies, for the recipe. Which grocery store can I buy the taco seasoning (the one U used) in Houston, Texas?

  • @prajna8

Either Costco or Sam's should have it.

  • @ShowMeTheCurry just google homemade taco seasoning its like 4 or 5 basic ingredients

  • thanks for telling me about can of beans .we don't know about that animal fat.

    thanks again :)

  • Pretty ladies making delicious, spicy food.... Heavenly. =)

  • Pinto beans are the nastiest looking beans. If you want your dish to look better use red or black beans.

I never cook with red onions. They are best eaten raw and fresh. They oxidize. Leave them in open air or cook them, and they go from a beautiful red or purple color to a pale green or blue. Doesn't look too good. Cook with onions that have a white flesh, like the ones with the brown or white skin.

  • I like to make the beans instead of using canned beans. I would cook kidney beans, salt, black pepper, green pepper, onion, and cilantro. It comes out great. This is a great recipe to make refried beans fast!

  • i eat the refried beans straight out of the can (heated up of course).

never thought about adding anything to them. i will definitely try this version with the onions peppers and taco seasoning.

  • Texas was Mexico and still has families there that lived there when it was mexico

  • @tormentor87 that is so true i have a friend that lives in dallas and he is the 10th gen of his family his gr8 gr8 gr8 gr8 gr8 gr8 gr8 gr8 gr8 grandparents or from jalisco when texas was mexico

  • beans come like that???

  • Can we do this receipe with canned black beans.. plz met me know....

  • Yes, you drain and rinse the black beans and mash them. Follow the same procedure. You may have to add a little water to get them to the consistency you want.

  • Thanks, Hetal and Anuja for the reply.... the receipe turned out great .... i luv mexican food and thanks once again for sharing ....will surly try all ur receips... :)

  • Wow, I've never actually seen or heard the words "Canadian cuisine" together.

  • @Yieiuu what about maple syrup? U got pwned damn!!!! just joking

  • wtf dawg r u tryna be rasicst?

  • thats not the real mexican refired beans from a can come on really can beans not that can beans are bad

  • Thanks Hetal & Anuja. I have been waiting for this recipe...Keep up the great work.

  • Yum!

  • why do you have to put the green chillies in

  • Good flavor...you can leave them out if you like.

  • Would you mind doing a recipe from dried beans mean creating a big batch an freezing, dried pinto beans soaked overnight, jalapeno, cumin, cayenne, oregano, vegetable stock garlic and onion and such and small amount of tomatoes?

  • Ladies, I love your Indian recipes and I have learned much from your video and I can't comment on your Indian Cusines but when dealing with Mexican foods you're in my kitchen (so to speak). I would like to share my family recipe for pinto beans(which can become your Tex-Mex version) with you to try for yourselves. Buena Suerte.

  • We'd love to try your recipe!

  • Looks yummy.. But I agree with gopxi, that if one plans on making refried beans, why buy canned refried beans? Another great option is to buy canned whole pinto beans and fry them in the oil with the veggies and spices and then smash them right there.. Super good. My favorite kind is frijoles puercos (cook chorizo in a pot, add whole beans and fry, add canned jalapenos and smash really well, add white mexican cheese like oaxaca, at the end throw in whole green olives. Try it! It rocks.

  • When I said add whole beans and fry, I mean whole canned pinto beans.

  • Hetal/Anuja, Great recipes coming through from your kitchen these days! So easy to make and such flavors! Thanks for all of the recipes! To make the beans at home, where can I find the pinto beans and what color should they be? I know you have mentioned this in the video, but I am still not entirely clear about this.

  • You can find pinto beans in the grocery aisle that has other dried beans, rice, etc. They are smaller than kidney beans and not red. They usually have a light pinkish/brownish tinge to them and also have some flecks on them.

  • Lovely! Looks incredibly healthy. Can't wait for your mexican recipes.

  • i dont know about the can beans but if you must i think is better to use the whole beans and then smash them ur self..

i know lots of people use that taco seasoning but cumin can be used too..
