Speed 3D logo in Illustrator

Just worked it out 'HOW TO SPLIT THE V' - All you do is type the 'V' out and make sure it's bigger than the black box. Select the V with the selection, right click and select 'create outlines'. Then select both of the, right click and group them. Now go to the pathfinder box and select 'divide' (bottom left of pathfinder box). Now use the direct selection tool (white arrow) and select the parts to be deleted or moved. Thank god, took an hour or so lol

@Joshanator PS is a bitmap (pixel) based program, meaning it's non scalable. Illustrator is vector based meaning it uses math to make an image curves and lines, which means it can be scaled and infinite amount of times without being distorted, which is the reason vector based software is favored among logo designers.

This would be so much better with speech. When enlarging the screen to see whats going on, the resolution isn't good enough. Otherwise, the logo is great and professionally executed, just a shame about the video quality..
