  • This clip is a wonderful treat for those of us who appreciate the subtle and

sophisticated humor of the "bumbling, mustached, karate-chopping Clouseau".

    Tnx 4 posting.

  • Peter Sellers = only physical comedy I've ever enjoyed.

  • blake edwards and peter sellers=masters of the sight gag!!

  • I just love this one.

  • Do you think Sellers had a real mustache or was it fake?

  • I wonder if this "Trail Of The Pink Panther" movie wasn't filmed because of Peter Seller's death, there probably wouldn't of been the movie "Curse Of The Pink Panther" since "Curse Of The Pink Panther" involves a detective going on a quest to find Clouseau. Probably after "Revenge Of The Pink Panther", the movie "Son Of The Pink Panther" would be next and if Peter Sellers as Clouseau was on it, maybe he would be there to teach his son how to fight and he would tell him to partner with Cato.

  • @afriendofbean Sir I really admire your taste and find that to be a brilliant deduction on the progression of the Panther films. Genius and Brilliant. Sellers was genius as the bumbling mustached karate chopping Clouseau and this massage message scene is brilliant.

  • @clouseau186 Thank you. Peter Sellers did a great job as Clouseau and I thought this massage/message scene was funny how the concierge thought Clouseau was asking him to give him a massage making it sound like the concierge was certified. Since "Trail Of The Pink Panther" was about Peter Sellers death, I got confused in the beginning seeing new scenes he was in (like this scene) that were not in the past Pink Panther movies until someone told me they were deleted scenes from the past films.

  • @clouseau186 One other thing since I ran out of characters in my last message.

I'm sure if this movie didn't show any of the new/deleted scenes on this movie, the movie would have started at the spot where Inspector Dreyfus (Clouseau's enemy) got the news that Clouseau has disappeared and died where Inspector Dreyfus was happy saying out loud "I have washed that man out of my life" and then fell down the stairs where I'm sure "Trail Of The Pink Panther" would have been a 45 minute movie.

  • In the history of the movies, this has to be in the Top 10 Funniest Scenes. The way Clouseau gets knocked out the window multiple times, hangs by the phone, finally falls and pulls the old man into the wall -- that is classic and irreplaceable. Then the old man smacks his toupee against the counter to get the dust off of it. From beginning to end, it's done with perfect timing. Thanks for sharing this.

  • @fridayman99 Sir, I must tell you that you took the words right out of my mouth. You perfectly described the scene identical to how I would. The timing is impeccable and probably the funniest top ten scenes ever. Genius and Brilliant. I admire your taste very much.

  • "no Sir, for you, there is no MASSage" ah it is priceless :D --- "I received a "massage" this morning from Inspector Quinlan of the Yard of Scotland" ... "of the Yard of Scotland" ... LMAO --- ah it is priceless how Peter Sellers incorporates Chief Inspector Clouseau, completly clumsy and relaxed when it really matters, but in a harmless situation like this, where a simple misunderstanding occurred, he is displaying an unequalled but utterly unnecessary vigor and conscientiousness ;-)

  • @kanickies you describe the scene brilliantly and show your incredible knowledge of pp/clouseau films. This scene is hysterical and slapstick at it's best. Clouseau was obviously the funniest character ever invented for film. Sellers was amazing as the bumbling mustached karate chopping Clouseau.

  • "look i know what i mean, u lunatic" ROFL

  • @kanickies Genius sheer genius. Clouseau is always relax-ed but is getting his thick trimmed mustache in an uproar. A genius at work.

  • jajajajajajajajajajajajajajajaja

  • Thank you for uploading the funny scene of the pink panther but what is title of this pink panther movie do you know that????

  • The name of this movie is called "Trail Of The Pink Panther." This movie has to do about Peter Seller's death.

  • Sellers, you are the quintessential Clouseau!

"Look I know what I mean you lunatic!" Hahahahahaha

"Inspector Creamland of the Yard of Scotland" OMG!! "

  • classic!!!!

  • HAHA I love how the man's toupee is messed up the whole time and he doesn't notice it or anything.

  • Lmao bwahahaha for fucks sake, this is fucking humor, why cant they make this stuff in todays movies. Go home steven fail martin epic failure.

  • this is classic, thanks for posting!

  • Click on 0:11.

  • best movie series ever...:)

  • your pheun

    :)))

    classic!

  • Not only was Sellers a genius he also looked handsome and in charge with the thick trimmed mustache.

  • Horrible movie though. They should have just left the series alone after "Revenge."

  • What movie of his is this from? Is it "Return of the Pink Panther"?

  • The name of this movie is called "Trail Of The Pink Panther."

  • @afriendofbean this is a docomentary though isnt it ?? reporting his death

  • Well, this movie is about him going on an airplane and him and the airplane disappeared and a news reporter was interviewing everyone who he knows to find out if they know where he is and what happened to him. But yes, he died in real life in the year 1980 and this movie was either made or finished filming in the year 1982. Before showing past Pink Panther movie scenes he was in, he was on new scenes on this movie so they must have made this movie a few months or a year before he died.

  • @afriendofbean Sort of, but most of what you see there are actually one of the deleted scenes from The Pink Panther Strikes Again. Strike Again was intended to be 124 mins but was cut down to 103 mins. That and Harvey Korman's scenes as Augustus Balls (in a way making that one, not Revenge, the character's first appearance) were excluded

  • Wow, thank you for telling me this. Since I know that many people were saying that this movie was about Peter Sellers death, I was wondering how and why the director was predicting the future of when Peter Sellers was going to die and I wondered how the director knew when he was going to die. Everything you told me makes a lot of sense now. (I'm sure if the director really was going to talk about his death to him for this movie, Peter Sellers would probably get angry and not star in it).

  • @afriendofbean Sometime after Revenge, Sellars and another writer were planning the now infamous and abandoned script "Romance of the Pink Panther" without Blake Edwards (For some odd reason, the Sellars HBO biopic made it out to be Edwards' idea when it wasn't). Only two drafts were completed by the time he died; the first version would've had Herbert Lom's Dreyfus as a PI and would've ended with Clouseau becoming Commissioner. The second version would've ended with Clouseau going evil....

  • That would have been great if they made a film called "Romance Of The Pink Panther" if Peter Sellers was on it. I wonder if the romance would have been about the Pink Panther diamond or about Peter Sellers as Clouseau since he is nicknamed as the Pink Panther detective. I remember after "Trail Of The Pink Panther" there was "Curse Of The Pink Panther" which was about a detective going on a quest to find Clouseau, so I guess a better title could have been "Quest Of The Pink Panther."

  • @afriendofbean Actually it was about Clouseau's involvement with a sexy female theif known as The Frog (or as would've been pronounced as "froog")

  • I guess that female thief probably was the thief who stole the Pink Panther diamond where the movie was referring to the diamond and not Clouseau. (Since there were eight Pink Panther films, I know the first and third films referred to the diamond and the fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth films referred to Clouseau nicknaming him as the Pink Panther detective where the second film didn't have anything to do with the diamond or Clouseau instead it referred to a bullet killing someone).

  • That man is wearing the worst toupee in history

  • @MarcusSLazarus thats the joke..

  • yard of scotland. rofl.

  • rofl.

  • God, I'm sitting here laughing until I have tears running down my cheeks. Sellers was a comedic genius!

  • @reaganite and you my friend are a genius for noticing the comedic genius of Sellers as the bumbling mustached karate chopping Clouseau.

  • . .

    O

    Heh...message..........I'll have one?

  • Yes, but i want it from you! LOL!!!

  • Now do you or don't you have the massage for me?! ha, ha. Peter Sellers was a great comic genius.

  • All these Pink Panther movies w Sellers were priceless! LMAO!

  • Sellars is great, but a good deal of what make this scene funny --in the way the jokes are shot and executed--belongs to the talent and genius of the film's director: Blake Edwards.

  • Comment removed

  • Soo funny scene, he was a great actor and talent.

  • I have not seen this one in years. It always cracked me up. I've re watched the part with the operator getting pulled through the wall over and over again. LOL funny.

  • omg, so funny, my fav scene of all the films, "your massage - your pheun" hahahaha.

  • OMG I've just pissed myself hahahahahahahaha

  • I am leaving you a massage here on youtube.

  • Look I know what I mean you lunatic!!! LMAO

  • to me one of the best, if not the best, scene of the pink panther

  • "Your message!" - "Yeur pheun!"

  • swine pheuunnn yes I knew that, I knew that.

  • Hilarious.

  • Hahahhaaa, it's scenes like this that demonstrate just how much little credit I've given 'Trail Of The Pink Panther' :-p

  • 1:57 - "Send your bed down, sir!" LOL

  • lmao

  • Sellers was the better Clousea by far, I mean damn I love the accent Sellers uses and the stupid things he does. It just cannot be copied.

Sellers was a genius plain and simple, oh and I just LOVE the guy they got for Cheif Inspector too, those two together make great comedy....

  • Oh yes. I refuse to watch the remakes with steve martin. Is dishonouring the memory of Sellers. As you say he can't be copied. The man was a genius.

  • We miss you Mr. Sellers...!!! :(

  • yeur pheune

  • The Yard of Scotland..

  • Steve Martin deserves hanging for his cuntish remakes. His smug portrayal of Clouseau just tarnishes Sellers brilliant legacy.

  • This is why wireless is a bad idea! ;o)))
