Thank God "Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law by being cursed for us on the tree (cross). Galatians 3:13-
If Christ had not redeemed us from the curse of the law we would be stoned to death for not circumcising our male infants at 8 days old by a Priest and for breaking the Sabbath rest (cease all activity from Frid. nite for 24 hrs.) and for not celebrating the Jewish Holidays like Yom Kippur called the Day of Atonement and it was this past Oct 8.2011
Romans 8: 3 What the law could not do God did not do in that it was weak through the flesh God did by sending his own Son..
Only someone sinless could keep all those 613 laws in the Leviticus in the Old Covenant but someone sinless, Jesus kept the whole law and has given us his Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth.
You are the hypocrite. Because you clearly don't know what you are doing, do you? What you are doing is hypocriting in the public in the eye's of you're Lord, just like every other pastors in the churches. You said, at 7:21, "But when you pray, go into you're CLOSET, close the door and pray to you're Father". Now what does that say to you? I mean go into you're CLOSET, it means something, like with you're 12 men, Jesus himself and no female. You tell me what that means?
@kroese1870 i think you should read the bible in faith and let the spirit guide you. The word in the bible has been distorted by "Human wisdom" but he who follows the spirit will enter it like a child, and god will bless you. Cuz god doesnt care about how well you make up your own wisdom. But to listen to his.
if you can acuse the "whites" of getting this land by murder, than you would have to accuse the Isrealites also. Yet this was God's plan so that He could bless the world through them!(the Isrealites) For salvation comes from the Jews. Jesus was a Jew. If you curse the Jews you will be cursed if you bless them you will be blessed, this is God's law. The U.S. has blessed the world through the spreading of the gospel. This would not have been the case had it not become a great nation. Wise up.
@slowpokeg I'm sorry that your so disillusioned. To say the US has blessed the world through the spreading of the gospel is far from the sad truth that millions of young children are forced into slavery every year all across the globe in order to support the horrific, unconscious obliterating of the world's resources that is a result of our ridiculous overconsumption. millions of children die each year for lack of clean water. only N.A. doctrine believes in a gospel of preaching w/o sacrificing

I feel very strongly that if you are right with God then you hear this message for what it is - someone reading the Scripture. That's it. Plain and simple. Quit making it something that it isn't - these are the words of our Father. And I see no self-righteousness here - just joy in reading God's Word. If you see self-righteousness, then maybe you should examine yourself.
How are you showing love to your brothers by grouping them all together then accusing them for not having love because of something that has happened a long time ago. Something that was done generations ago by some of the "White" race.
@zodice1 The gospel is the power of...GOD!! The Gospel is this, if you don't REPENT!! REPENT!! then God will throw you into the lake of fire, if you do not turn from wickedness then God is your enemy.
@svenhardini If you don't like the idea of hell just go ahead and cut it out of your bible, and anything else that doesn't suit you, go ahead and cut that out to, cuz isn't faith all about us and our feelings and our beliefs...no wait...actually its all about God isn't it? It's God's word and God's will, did you know hell is an awesome revelation of God's nature, people tend to equate it to the harshness of God but it's not, it's the zeal that God has for holiness and purity, the need to
@servant714 purge His creation of sin. Don't make a god for yourself that you are comfortable with, go to scripture with a humble heart and ask God to reveal Himself to you. What you believe, what you think, what you have learned is worthless. Don't be a victim of this defiled and arrogant generation that says Lord Lord, but keeps their hearts on the things of this world. Tell me I'm wrong, tell me you hunger and thirst for holiness, tell me you hate this world and its love of pleasure...
@servant714 You suppose a lot! You suppose I don't believe in hell, you suppose I want to decide what is and isn't so, you suppose I feel and believe a whole set of beliefs I don't. May I ask why you suppose these things?
I'm white, you're right. Read the Peoples History of the United States. I did and learned of all the hyprocrisy. But, I cannot repent for the actions of those who called themselves Christians. What I can do is love my neighbor as myself.
i love Jesus Christ more then anything i can imagine, and this is one of my favorite sermons. But why is everyone lifting up this Shane guy so much? No one person is saying Bless the LORD! but they are saying bless Shane. Shane is so Wonderfull and powerfull! Im not saying he is not a great guy and all that but Shane is nothing, he is worthless. Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit in him is what is so Powerfull and wonderfull.. My Lord God deserves all the Glory.
:( I don't like how he adds and takes away scripture. Open up your eyes and ears people. I think everyone should crack open their bibles and follow along in Matthew.
Bless you who believe in one of God's prophets. May God show the way to everyone in our life, for each one of us is living. And with that comes committing both right and wrong. May God show the way to those who are seeking the truth on their own. May God show the way to those who tarnish the truth with falsehood. May God show the way. Amen.
He's quoting Luke Chapter 6: 20And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God. 21Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh. 22Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
Woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation.

5 The LORD saw how great man's wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time. 6 The LORD was grieved that he had made man on the earth, and HIS HEART WAS FILLED WITH PAIN. 7 So the LORD said, "I will wipe mankind, whom I have created, from the face of the earth—men and animals, and creatures that move along the ground, and birds of the air—for I am grieved that I have made them."But Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD

Why don't seminaries use this as a model for preaching. Most preachers us a single main point for sermons and dumb down the audience.
The sermon on the mount can be read in 10 minutes and covers so many issues and yet preachers harp on one issue for 20-45 minutes.
