  • Wonderful to see your horses being so calm even when you are 'falling off' ;) You both seem really talented and it is a pleasure to watch your riding :)

  • Hi. Would you tell me the blade length and weight of the ladie's swords?

  • Wonderfull. I dream, that i ever try that too in future :) Now just on my own two legs ;P

  • Omg...what is this...??????????

  • Nice Take on the Subject but iam not sure if the weapons are chosen rightly ...

The Dussak seems to me more like a foot weapon than like a horsemans sword..

  • Its funny to see those techniques you find aswell in the footmen styles, just on horse. :D

    Isn't it very dangerous? o.o

  • Just realized how well you two fit together!! You are almost same size, and your horses fit too, dark and light :)

Maybe we could arrange a course here in Dk next year? I know this kind of training takes veeeery much, but we can just take our time, start with introduction course to learn the basics on fencing and the tecniques, then on the one-hand riding and close-contact etc. Of course on already fairly schooled horses. Could be really cool!!! Hugs :)

  • Aloha, well I am trying to make it a bit easier for Practicants so that they don't have serious damages after practicing;) Yes Beli and Bagy match well, at least from the size (they hate each other:)!.We can talk about organizing such a clinique. It is possible but difficult.

  • Wow!!! REALLY COOL Julia!!! I want too!!! We have to talk about this :D Sofia has become good fast, hasn't she? :) Hahaha, why is it only you who gets thrown off - aren't you protecting Sofia too much ;) Hi hi ... :)

  • Great video and excellent demonstration!

  • Hello everyone! Thank you for this encouraging comments:) I have to admit that I am not so confident as you are. I rather feel that we are at about 20 % of what our ancestors could do. But luckely I am still (quite) young and have a very great fencing trainer and a diligently trainee which makes my dream (working on mounted combat) come true. Mostly I must praise our willingly and patently horses to help us rediscovering their true vocation. Suddenly dressage becomes meaningful!

  • Even if it's 2% it's 100 times better at horseback riding than most of the rest of us in HEMA, keep it up I can't wait to see where y'all are in a year or two... HEMA + Dressage is a promising combination

  • Good to hear! (so at least the last 8 years I only invested in learning classical (historical) dressage have paid off;) Yes and I am also looking very much forward to the future. I sure it will be great fun!

  • Most excellent.

  • Incredibly cool! Thanks for this. Please keep doing this, and please continue to share some of what you're doing here!

  • Excellent work! Really nice to see some work on the subject.

  • Awesome!

  • Wow.

You keep making tremendous improvement and the speed of some of the exercises is already very impressive.

Gives a good idea of how short an engagement on horseback was.

    There goes another Hollwood cliché!

    Keep up the good work!
