  • enchatment?

  • "Everyone will be just like they were." Tevinter conquors Thedas again? Arch-mage rises?

  • I for one want to kill this so called maker if he appears in DA3. Also when he says all magic will come back that I am guessing means that there will be a change in how mages are seen and that they will most likely be in power again. Morrigans kid I think will be a friend and someone that might just fight with the main person, remember 2 years after DAO in DAA and 10 Years at the end of DA2 would put him at 12 so just skip a couple of year and there you go.

  • My point is that Flemeth's trying to bring back what's left of the Old Gods; it didn't work before because... She screwed up. Or it just didn't work. BTW, it's also revealed that Saldan's half-Aeducan, half-human/elf, presumably mage... And in the Witch Hunt, he complains about hearing a voice of some "scary lady". Perhaps he's the Witch's son? It's not like she was too picky about men... Hell knows her reasons in choosing though.

  • @Wolfina777 what? Sandel was already there way before Morrigan got a son

  • @aartbastiaan22 he was talking about flemeth not morigan

  • @moonninja94 but Flemeth only get daughters..

  • @aartbastiaan22 supposedly maby she only keeps the daughters or maby when she need to trade bodies she uses some ritual to make sure her childs a daughter i mean she taught morigan the ritual to have a kid with a warden witch is supposed to be really rare

  • @moonninja94 well she doesn't keep the children but drains the youth out of them eventually to stay alive, and I don't think a dwarf and human can create a dwarf child lol, remember that she chooses the men.

  • @aartbastiaan22 y cant a dwarf and a human have kids i mean an elf and human can so y not and its already said his mother was a human or elf

  • @moonninja94 that's like a deer fucking a pig lol that's impossible

  • @aartbastiaan22 ya but the thing is if in origins your charicter is a male dwarf morigan can still have his kid

  • @moonninja94 ya but it's only because of her ritual, and I'm pretty sure that it will neither be a dwarf nor a human, but a shapeshifter. Their natural form seems to be human though.

  • @aartbastiaan22 ok this is my last statement on this subject but morigan learned the ritual from felmmeth so she knows it to. and in truth we wont know who sendalls mother is untill the writers tell us if they ever do

  • I've been readin' through Dragon Age Wikipedia for lots recently... and... FLEMETH'S AN OLD GOD I TELL YOU! D: The things she revealed in DA2, like she's just a projection, the fact she doesn't actually need Morrigan to live on... Actually there's more to it, I'll just leave 'tat to you to look up. Er, so. The known Old Gods are MALES, but aren't drakes the weaker of the dragon kind? Even though they're Gods, I presume there should me a BADASS High Dragon Goddess to control the flock? My point--

  • @Wolfina777 Dude, have you played Legacy? In Legacy Hawke and chums encounter Corypheus, one of the original darkspawn. He was one of the Tervinter Magisters who raided the Golden city. After you kill him it's heavily implied that he jumped bodies to a Grey Warden (something even archdemons can't do). My theory is, Flemeth was one of the Magisters. Think about it, she's a rediculously powerfull Mage, she's not entirely human, she can jump bodies, and I'm running out of characters for this post..

  • The way he instantly says "Enchantment" when Bodahn notices, makes me think the whole "savant" thing is just an act. I think this was a message SPECIFICALLY meant for Hawke...

  • @cvrc11 Nah, I don't think that's it. He was just possessed by the spirit of clairvoyance, like you saw in Harry Potter when the divinations teacher channelled a prophecy (and other instances in popular films).

  • Anyone else think that maybe "When he rises, everyone will see" is a reference to Morrigan's son? That was to awesome a plot-line to just vanish.

  • @BackhandTrebond That's exactly what I was thinking too!

  • @stockholmLIAR

Only problem is: when does DA3 take place? If it's only a few years after DA2, then Morrigan's son will only be is his early teens. Still, I hope we get to meet the guy. In a larger capacity than throwing a fireball at him, I mean. If he was just a throwaway boss, then that would be a serious waste. Plus, Morrigan would be pissed.

  • Turns out Sandal is the Maker's avatar, dun dun DUNNN

  • I swear that gave me chills.

  • not sure about the second part but I think in the first few lines he's talking about the elves becoming immortal again and getting all their magical abilities back

  • maybe the maker him self will show up in DA 3

  • Well being that you can play a male OR female in this game, he's not talking about the protagonist :/ And it's not the son of Alistair/Morrigan or the protaganist/Morrigan because both of those options are optional. It is possible that Morrigan found another if you refuse her though but where would she find another arch-demon? I dunno, it being her 'cleansed arch demon god kid' is possible but sounds kinda far fetched.

  • I think it's about Morrigan and Alister's son

  • I think the one whi he is speaking about is the protagonist of dragon age 3... or maybe the son of morrigan... man so many questions...

  • There should be a quest about sandal!

  • XD i want to give it away so bad.. i worked with bioware for a little while and i did the level designing and contrast between 1 and 2. And know a lot about the secrets

  • @FearElaio Maybe you can tell me who the dumb shit that made the call to not allow us to build our companions was and also why nightmare is so damn easy whoever made those calls should be fired they made DA 2 fail hard compared to DA:O

It is Morrigan's son and the Maker is the Dread Wolf aka the Father of the Dawkspawn.

  • @TheArcaneSanctum It could well be different the dread wolf is flemeth she imprisoned the maker who will reincarnate and be the protagnist in da3

  • @TheArcaneSanctum Well shit :/. Your wrong at the end

  • @FearElaio Not at all if you do Legacy Corypheous tells you that they did not make the city black that it was black when they got there, the maker aka the dread wolf then used the rip in the veil to send his minions the dawkspawn through if you read all the quests and listen to the npcs in both dalish and in the books this is quite obvious.

  • @FearElaio yeah im the manager of BIOWARE but i got demoted ): also really want to give it away but can't cause im not allowed DAMIT T.T

  • @FearElaio Yeah and i'm the queen of england

  • but Morrigan having a godchild is optional, how can "he" be involved if the player choose not to let her have sex with one of the warden? unless they make it canon that a child was conceived.. personally I think it was a mistake to end DAO like that, and the witchhunt DLC didn't help conclude her story either and we are left with this hanging story that is very hard to continue the story from.

  • come on guys, so much speculation , isnt it really REALLY obvious that he is talking about chuck norris ? ( really sorry could not resist)

  • The "He" Sandal speaks of might be the hero of the next game. I hope so... because that would be EPIC! :)

  • Sandal slaughtered a whole battalion of darkspawn singlehandedly (with no way of telling how) at the end of the first game (simply showing him amidst darkspawn corpses), on top of this, Bodahn found him in the Deep Roads, and when you find him in the Deep Roads in this game, he froze a god damn Ogre, while simply stating "Not Enchantment" Either hes the first Dwarf Mage, hes acting mentally damaged as a facade for some reason, and/or hes some creature of immense power

  • @ShadowWolfRising could be the first dwarf mage i think he could be never know or a messnger sent by the maker

  • I get the feeling Sandal is kinda like the guy from Rainmaker, he's autistic, but a genius at the same time.

  • My personal interpretation sandal's prophesy: ENCHANTMENT!

  • next game might be in orlais as thats where Sandal is going and according to alistar there is unrest there

  • @TROGDOR455 I think so too. And I think Morrigans "old-god" child may have something to do with the prophecy. ONE THING IS FOR CERTAIN... I LOVE DRAGON AGE!! :D I can't wait for the next game!! x3

  • I believe that Sandal has something to do with the Deep Roads expedition in DA2. Bodahn found him in the Deep Roads, Sandal wondered off and safely made his way back to he camp despite all of the Darkspawn. Enchantment-boy will soon have a larger role, I promise.

Bodahn refers also to the fact that they will be traveling to Orlais after the events of DA2. Alistair refers to how there's trouble in Orlais. The next game will most likely pick up where DA2 left off, with a new hero, companions, ect.

  • This may sound weird but this video reminds me of the song 115 anyone else with me?

  • Maybe he's talking about the Maker?

  • Corypheus, perhaps? Makes sense.

  • Comment removed

  • I think that this may also possibly links to the nexus golem because when speaking to him he says some wierd things he meantions something like we were once more than what we are now

  • Do you guys remember the little cut scene in da:o where there are 2 old couples are staring at a metor stirke and said how could a baby survived the crash? Then takes the baby......

  • @instinct533 haha yeah but that was a reference to superman

  • Dude they are talking about Jesus, lol. The Shadows will part? the sky will open wide? everyone will see? ALL THE MAGIC WILL COME BACK?

He didn't predict any death or destruction or even fear in that whole ramble.

If you take his excitement for fear, you need to learn more about human interaction lol.

But yeah, they totally prophesy the second coming of Jesus xD

  • @Manicmagnet08 jesus dont exist thats a fairytail parents to children like santa claus

  • @sonicheroesify ...you ARE kidding..... right?????

  • @rebbkatt of course not if you believe good for you but not everybody believes in that stuff.

  • @sonicheroesify Yea, I know, but still. If it is only a story then why does so many people believe it? And saying things like that isn't very nice. I think only a fool would call it "just a story" when if you think about it our whole world pretty much works based on that story. This is the year 2011 after Jesus birth, think about that. I'm sure you are no fool, so don't act like one. Sorry if I seem agressive, that is not my intention.

  • @rebbkatt if i been rude im sorry that has not been my intention i was just stating not everybody believes in not everybody is religious people allow to choose if they believe or not what they wear eat in, live i will respect that you believe as long you respect my disbelief.

  • @rebbkatt In older cultures, this year is somewhere in the range of the year 6400. We get A.D. from the church centuries later in about the time of Constantine. Not all of humanity uses the Christian calendar.

  • Ok Sandal can you enchant my brain so i can understand your awesome prophecy talk PLZ!!!!!!!

  • I have a feeling DA3 will be very much like he says if i let morrigan do everything she wanted

  • Sandel is going to a big part of DA3 when they make one, I can just feel it.

  • the archdemon or maybe the maker.

  • IF you notice, he says "THE" magic, so it's a specific one, one I think we haven't seen yet. Now, the "everyone will be just like they were", maybe some disaster envolving magic will happen making man becoming more ambicious and evil like the first darkspawn (the tevinters). The shadows of the templars I think, will part, and the sky will open wide, which I think should be some king of entrance to the black city, and the dude he revears must be or the maker or Morrigan's baby.

  • @TheArases it will happen in da3 in the middle of the mage in templar war the skys will part in he will come down to the battle field in everyone will see

  • @seraphilight Perhaps the Black City isn't a natural part of the Fade at all, maybe it was a city like Kirkwall that sundered the Veil in some vain attempt to harness powers divine some untold millennia ago. The Enigma of Kirkwall codex entries seem to hint at this. Maybe the Taint is sentient and desires to contaminate all living things on Thedas and beyond. All I know is that Dragon Age 2 could have answered at least some of these questions, but it didn't, and that kinda pisses me off...

  • Wouldn't be surprised if Sandal just went up on stage and said, "I am thy Maker!" Cue in thunderclouds parting and flowers blowing instantly all around...

  • Sandal could be making a reference to a possible archdemon since in DAO there are a few mentionings of a new blight about to come. There are some ideas to DA3 such as the possible involvement of the god-souled child and the return of the Warden and Hawke. As place of action it could start in Orlei since the dwarven riddles speak of the stone that lives beneath those lands. If Bioware is smart they will make a wide open world to explore with no reused map areas people see time and time again.

  • Interesting... I never got this answer while talking to him. I just hope it isn't a game designers' joke, you know, like they wrote this for fun, and they're now laughing at us taking it seriously and making predictions :D And I'm also curious: why do lot of people think Flemeth is an Old God? I never thought that way... Maybe she's got an Old God's soul, like the child of Morrigan, but she's not a normal Old God, cause you know guys.... they're dragons...

  • @TheOffspringFan7 Flemeth is Mythal the mother of the creators in the dalish religion. This is largly suggested in dragon age 2. it is possible though she is more than just that, perhaps she has some ties with human religion as well but i dont think she was an old god. Old gods were dragons worshipped by the tevinter imperium and it has not yet been suggested that such old gods can shapeshift into people. Also of the 5 discovered old gods no warden ever survived the final blow so thus no ritual.

  • @hackerhoward she could be the maker sister he has golden city heaven in she have black city hell

  • found this the other day, kinda shit me up :/ - doesn;t happen often

  • When he says "Everyone will be just like they were", I can't help but wonder at the Darkspawn who once 'were' Magisters, and the Elvhen who once were immortal. "He" might just refer to the potential Old-God born once again, to Morrigan, and how the Child will spur on further change. Or, Hell, maybe he's speaking of the Makers return to his children. Whatever it is, I get goosebumps just thinking about it. Exciting! I can't wait to see what we'll learn of the world next, in the upcoming book.

  • Oooo....Compelling. Or maybe Sandal is just a psychopath. It does look like they're gearing him for a larger role. Maybe Flemeth had a dwarven lovechild. Creepy.

  • Maybe the Archdemons are living 'anchors' for a supernatural prison, or the Fade itself, and the darkspawn are in the employ of an as-yet-unknown evil sealed away within. Maybe the Black City is the nucleus of that prison, or a metaphysical battery of sorts that churns out the Taint, the Fade being an interdimensional/cosmic scrapyard of sorts. This entity could even be the source of the Taint. Perhaps that is why the Fade looks all twisted and inconstant. Otherwise, I have no fucking idea.

  • @Protocultist If the darkspawn come from the black city itself, which is connected to ALL parts of the fade and thus EVERYONE (because they all dream in the same place), then eventually everyone will get the taint or should be susceptible to it. Or perhaps it is merely a taint of the mind? XD

  • Actually... Now that I'm thinking about it. I think this prophecy is talking about Anders. This was before he blew up the chantry, right? Maybe Sandal was talking about that one event. It certainly brought magic back and sparked a war between mages and... everyone else, just like it must have been in Thedas centuries ago.

  • @sasuchi02 I thought the exact same thing, and actually that is the truth. It's Sandal's magic powers growing really fast and he can predict things but not that far into the future. He just "sensed" that something bad is gonna happen, and he mentions "him" and by that he means Hawke. Why? Because Hawke is the one to rally the mages or the Templars against the other faction, and by doing so everyone sees what Meredith & Orsino really are. Crazy ol'bitch and a huge prick of a abomination.

  • @anagron63 It can't be Hawke because you get the same message even when you're female.

  • @DrunkenRhyin NOPE! Chuck Testa! Just kiddin' you have a point there...shit. Oh well, i guess well see what it means in DAIII

  • @mediolagana I meant, if she can turn into a dragon than why can't she take form of a male?

  • it could be about flemeth "The Old Lady is scary! She has a scary laugh!" who has a weird laugh and she is not human or an abomination, could refer to the veil as the sky opens wide which could mean the maker coming back to destroy all life as he cursed the races or maybe flemeth is andraste?

  • @oblivionps3fan Yeah that's true. Since in the Dragon Age games Flemith seems to play a huge role in the games, like she was the one that protected the treaties and gave them to the Warden, as well as save the Warden and Alistair in Ostagar. Also she saves the Champion from the family and eventually brings Flemith back to life. Now you know that she's going to play a role for Dragon Age 3 because of that. Also that would be one crazy Andraste.

  • Definitely about Morrigan's baby.

  • Sandal scares the shit out of me... But he's awesome at the same time.

  • Could he mean Morrigan's Old Gob baby?

  • what's he smoking lol

  • Why does everybody think that Morrigan's child is the only possible candidate that Sandal is talking about. I mean it makes a lot of sense that it would be Morrigan's child, but there are other possibilities. Few think that it's Hawke. I think there is a high possibility that it could be Feynriel as well. He was a dreamer after all. The first to emerge for two ages if I remember correctly. It could be Flemeth for all we know! I mean, if she can turn into a dragon then can't she be male too?

  • @sasuchi02 Flemeth depends on WHAT she really is. If she's just a human shapeshifter, then NO she can't be. I believe Morigan said something along the lines of only having one form in shapeshifting. Like if you change into a cat your features and coloring will always be set to one thing, no changing from orange to black 'Course Flemeth could be an old god, or just simply so old and powerful she can do it. HOWEVER, she also strikes me as one to have female pride. She only had daughters after all.

  • Plus Sandal seems connected to Flemeth... "The Old Lady is scary! She has a scary laugh!" please scroll down and read my comments would love to see someone add to this.

  • I don't want to spoil anythinbg else from my educated guesses and codex facts here but if you think i'm on to something and want to hear more just ask. Peace

  • Believe me when I say the Dragon Age 2 story is HUGE, it's just a major bitch to find out the true story. My guess is the Dragon Age 3 story will go deeper into this, along with finding out why Kirkwall was a giant blood magic sacrificial glyph, Flemeth and Morrigan's desire for a Old God soul, The link between The Old Gods, The Trickster/Maker, the 4 Elder Demons, and Flemeth (It's out there in the codex's in both DA:O and DA2 just gotta dig deep to find this shit)

  • @YourBigRosie who are the 4 elder demons? cant find them on the wiki?

  • @hackerhoward no worries i just read your other post, I suspected as much.

  • Prophecy involves demons and magic right? I don't know if anybody knows this from the codex but The Prophecy involves the four demon's that taught the Tevinter Imperium blood magic, Gaxkang, Xebenkeck, Imshael, and The Formless One possibly the trickster in Elven Lore. Kirkwall was the place for rebelion because of how thin the Vail (And the thinner the Vail the more magic users get leaked) AND because of how Kirkwall's structure is a Giant Glyph! Check out the Band of Three Codex Page.

  • The he is "THE MAKER" aka the elven trickster god who sent the good gods to a prison / fortress in the sky "Golden City-Black City" and the evil gods to the under world. Both sides were searching for weapons to end thir eternall war and were traped by the trickster. The chant of light says that the maker sent the old gods of the imperium to slumber in cells bellow the earth but says nonthing about other "good gods". In DA2 we see that the dwarves have changed alot from the ancient times ???????.

  • @lookinforgoodshowsz listen to merill talk about old gods in DA2 for the story i just told you. Sandel says the shadows will part and the sky will open wide "the veil"? The elvis have "quickend" from contact with humans and lost their immortality "be like they used to be". "The makic will come back, all of it" somewhere in DA2 i hear that there are more mages now then there used to be i think from the crazy drunk in the hanged man. I think morigans child may be on the good side, Flemith ????

  • I bet it have something to do with Morrigan's kid (Old God) and maybe Anders.

Sandal must be some kind of prophet. He is mysterious and powerful (remerber how he killed those darkspawn in DAO and DA2)

  • the maker the maker comes back

  • Hmm I have a feeling it about Morrigon baby I don't know why

  • @lana112391 Who's Morrigon?

  • @papapudding i mean Morrigan n u dont know who she is? She from the first game, she the daughter of Flemeth the witch of the wilds.

  • @lana112391 I know who she is. It was just an attempt to point out the obvious mistake you made in her name.

    Sorry D:

  • If it is supposed to be the God-baby from Origins, does Sandal still say this even when you import a save from a game where your Warden hadn't gone through with the ritual...? If he does, then I don't think that's what he's talking about.

  • @RipMyEffingHeartOut Yeah apparently Morrigan gets pregnant no matter what. So she does have a baby with the old gods soul, perhasp to counter her mother who seems to perhaps be a human with an old gods soul.

  • I think he's talking about the Warden and Morrigan's God-baby from Origins. Looking forward to seeing how they conclude the storyline, and I'm very curious to see how they tie the Warden and Hawke together.

  • I hope Sandel isn't the maker trapped. I don't want to fuck with Sandel. I like him :(

  • He's telling of the return of the Maker to Thedas and when he returns everyone will have magic like he intended.

  • Sandal is the maker really i bet flemeth is the trickster elven god and imprisoned the maker in a dwarfen body preventing the maker from using magic and over time the overexposure of lyrium degraded sandals mind acting as his kyrptonite. My guess in dragon age 3 the protagonist will find a way to release the maker from his dwarfen body.

  • Sandal scared me now...

  • Sandal is obviously the first dwarven magi

  • @XOLYMPIANXBOX No, because he was inside the deep roads his whole life until Bodahn found him. Lyrium exposure made him immune to magic and fucked his brain up.

  • i think sandal is possesed or some shit i mean inDA1 he kills hella lotta dark spawn in Da2 he kills hella lotta darkspawn and he is nvr hurt or carrying a weapon unless he is like a dwarf mage or something

  • @07Bloodrain uh hello he says how he does it: "Enchantment!" i don't think sandel is talking about the maker but it deffinently seems like he is forboding DA3

  • @BlackmagicKota i nvr mentioned the maker whats so ever O.o

  • @07Bloodrain no my reply to you was the first part. the maker thing was for the other people who did mention the possibility, sorry to confuse you

  • They simply put that prophecy in there for the WTF factor. It might have something to do with DA3, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

  • No I don't think he is talking about the old bod dumat because he was the first archdemon

  • I think Sandal is saying has something to do with Dragon Age 3 or whatever there going to call the next one

  • possibly talking about The old God Dumat?

  • Of course! Morrigan and Flemeth, dallying in things beyond them, Old God stuff will open a gigantic can of supernatural worms (or in this case, deities) and Thedas will experience some crazy epic shit.

  • hooray for dwarfmage!

  • well, think about it, Morrigan was always freaking out in witch hunt, maybe its because of what morrigan said, its connectad

  • If you people must know. It means everyone will have magic, The Maker will return and remove The Veil making The Fade and Thedaus one. "The shadows will part" Either means the end of blindness or the end of evil.

  • O.o...

Holy crap he's just hiding it all behind a facade!

  • upcoming DLC after Legacy? with him and Flemeth?

  • @mediolagana OR hes the da3 mc. :D

  • Honestly. It Almost Sounds Like The Bible In The Revelations About The Rapture.

But I Don't Know If DA Would Talk About That. All I Know If DA3 Comes Out, Sandal May Have A Big Part.

  • @ilanarox247 Do you capitalize every first letter on purpose?

  • @WretchedMoose Haha Yeah I Don't Even Realize I'm Doing It Have The Time :P

  • maybe it has got something to do with flemeth

  • "Enchantment?" lol

  • Tevinter Imperium conquers the world again while we struggle with chantry vs mage. Lead by the son of Morrigan, possibly the strongest magister ever existed.

  • From what I understand from "The shadows will part, and the skies will open wide. When he rises, everyone will see." It feel as though he could be talking about the Maker, or it could be a being a of massive power which is responsible for people to wield magic, so maybe the very first mage?

  • You all are so stupiud obviously Sandal is going to kill everyone with his enchantments and then have butt sex with the darkspawn creating a new and powerful dwarf species. God how dumb can you people be...lol

  • Comment removed

  • Yea its morrigans son, i just had to make anders make a baby with morrigan, Great we are all dead, he will be a demon if morrigon is his mother.

  • 1:06 made me jump and speak Canadian.. eh

  • @ChrisC61080 Wtf is that supposed to mean?

  • I don't think its Morrigans son, it would be to vauge, my character fought and died killing the archdemon. I think that it might be either foreshadowing, or a new character we havent hurd of yet

  • Sandal scares the fuck out of me.

  • Thats more like it

  • Forget Sandal, Bohdan's reaction had me on the floor ... "Hah, what's this?" lol

  • I believe it's about Morrigans son and how he will go into the deep road, wipe out the darkspawn, the stone will open over the dwarven kingdom and the dwarves will once again become a race of mages. As for the part Hawke and the Warden play, who can say?

  • maybe it's Morrigan's son?

  • I don't think morrigans child will have anything to do with the next game. The only way she could have the child with the soul of an old god is if you, allistair, or loghain knocked her up at the end of the first one. If you didn't do that, then having him in the third game would completely contradict the story. Even if she got pregnant some other way, the archdemon would be gone already and she wouldn't be able to bestow it's soul on her child.

  • Granted, if you did knock her up, I could see either dlc that takes you on the quest (kind of like witch hunt) or including extra quests and some bosses based on her getting pregnant. Personally, when he says "the magic will come back. All of it" I think that he means we will see shapeshifter and arcane warrior again in the third one, along with dw wars (plus a few more) because ALL OF THE MAGIC is coming back. And you know there are hidden tribes with forgotten magic running around. always is.

  • The magic will come back due to the mage/templar war, regardless of who you side with in da2 I think. "the shadow will part" This could be anything. Like others have said, the genocide of all darkspawn. I'm thinking that maybe the shadow refers to the veil, and an endless wave of demons come out. Or shadow may refer to the darkness in everyones minds that makes them hate eachother. elves and humans, mages and templars, dwarves and darkspawn possibly. Maybe more speaking darkspawn come out...

  • ... like in awakening. I'm thinking whatever happends, that all of creation will fight against an ancient evil. Either demons or darkspawn or dragons. After all, when I think of "Dragon Age" I think there should be a lot more dragons than you see in these games. "The sky will part" could refer to the fact that so many dragons or demons attack by air that they literally block out the sun and the sky. And "when he rises", imo, can obviously only mean one thing. either the villain, or the hero...

  • ...of da3. And I'm assuming the villain based on how sandal says all of this. As to who that villain could be, it's hard to say. "everyone will be just like they were" In history, everyone has always been at war with someone. Some will know peace for a time, but they always go back. I think this means that everyone will be at war. either with the 6th blight, demons, or an endless legion of dragons released by demons or darkspawn. that's all I got. They need more comment space in these boxes :P

  • @xPickx Acctually, even if you didn't do the ritual and instead let Alistar or Lohgain take the sacrifice, when you play Witch Hunt, no matter what she says she has a child but she mentions the sacrifice. No matter what, Morrigan has a kid with the soul of an Old God fully of partially.

  • @ElectromagNick I haven't finished witch hunt yet, so I didn't know that. I guess it makes sense that they would contradict their own story, seeing as how you can import a dead character into them as well. But if that is how they are really going to do their game, then they are going to make a lot of people hate the product. What's the point of making your own story if they are going to only pick one outcome for the ending? Attention to detail was obviously overlooked with this game it seems.

  • @xPickx It's possible that Canon states that you went through with the ritual or convinced Alister to do it. Or Thedas is a world based on the sole concept of paradoxes in which all endings of Origins take place simultaniously (much like the game Daggerfall from the Elder Scrolls series). I noticed something else, Bodahn says he and Sandal went to the Circle tower a year after they got to the surface but you see Sandal in Witch Hunt years after the Blight when he should be in Kirkwall.

  • @ElectromagNick Well actually there was an ending where she wasn't seen "with child". You had to sleep with her and my female warden's couldn't do that so yeah...No matter what he isn't referring to the Old God Child. The Dark Ritual is not canon.

  • @Syntheticxox I wasn't aware you were a member of the committee of deciding what is canon in dragon age.

  • @Syntheticxox @Syntheticxox Let me get this straight, it is because your warden is a woman and can't have the child that makes the ritual non canon?

My warden is a warrior and can't do magic, does that mean that the warden going to the fade to save connor it isn't canon?

And my warden is an elf, so he can't marry Anora and be the king, does that mean that marry anora isn't canon?

You basicly is saying "Is non canon because i can't do this with my warden"

  • @huaun You should get this straight...the Cannon of dragon age is determined by your own choices. if the Child was not created then there for the Dark Ritual is not canon.

  • @Syntheticxox also....Dragon Age is much so like a choose your own adventure. There were several endings which will all lead to the same end unless Dragon Age 3 chooses not to..

  • @Syntheticxox So isn't canon TO you then

  • @austinarthurwilliams "the shadow will PART", that probaly means the cleansing of all darkspawn, the "skies will open" doesn't sound like apocalypse or anything like you think, "the magic will come back" probaly refers to Morrigan's son, an UNCORRUPTED old god, so no, probaly won't be an archdemon and he will likely bring a revolution in terms of bestowing magic upon the world again in a less restricted way, some sort of mass enlightenment.

  • Don't you find Sandal and Bodahn in DAO?

Arent they traders that you find somewhere in the middle?!

How can sandal be Morrigans son if you didn't choose to **** her?

    This don't make any sense.....

or do i get it wrong?

  • ***The death prophecy and important stuff that will reshape the world***
