man. i really need to know your secrite to the 540. i found out im more of a power move tricker, but thats not what i want to be limited too. i just learned my Roundoff Double Full, but i still cant 540 kick. im where you were at in the beginning of the video
haha if you notice, the thing that mainly changed is toward the end you finally started using your upper body, turning the dead weight of your flailing arms into a torquing device.
So I found that if I just imagine kicking myself in the rear with my non-kicking leg, I'm forced to land on my kicking leg. I have the kicking height for it and it looks solid... up until the landing. I don't have the jumping height and I'm not sure how to get up there so my kick looks both clean in the air and when I go for the landing. You got a nice 540 there and the hard work shows. It took me about 4 months to finally get it, but now I just need to clean up the landing.
Could you perhaps give me a pointer? ;p I'll upload a video if you like :) - but I've only been trying for 2 weeks (really try ! I've done attempts in the past but never practiced every day or 2 like I'm doing now..)

nice man! but you still got a progression to do in your 540 kick,jump higer,use your hips,land 90 degrees from the target, and kick higer is always possible :)
@Shugyo2 very first one i landed at 0:33 was like in jan 08. the ones beginning at 1:10 to 1:21 were around may-june 09. the very last two 540 kicks were in dec 09. lol yea i spent a long time on this 540 kick, and thanks for comment :D.

bro what was the time span from the first 540 kick to the last ones you threw (which were really beautiful by the way)
I am practicing every other day and i just cant manage to land on the kicking leg!
i have improved to landing on both the non kicking and the kicking leg at the same time, but other than that , I'm stuck
