@kindaownd I respect youre comment and can say that when I was driving to different streams for flyfishing this was the way for me 10 years back. I drove to get more time by the water, today Im older and a little bit wiser.

Today theres a rollcage in the garage and the car is even more rebuild.

And it has become to fast for the open roads, before it was just fun even if it outrun a Porsche on this particular stretch once. But nowadays it will be more trackdays och closed roads.

I owned an even more shittier car many years ago. It was called BMW Alpina B7.

Total shit,, all solutions were made by retarded engineers. The volvo isnt the best car in the world but its much better than carrera S and M3 E46. Why do I say that, because Ive outrunned theese type of cars on this road and similar roads in Sweden. After 200kph in the bends they dont want to play anymore.

Winter tires like theese Ive run stretches of 300km with an average speed of 170kph.

What will happen if u drive like that and one other come from other direction and drives like u (or a deer). like that last curve u took, do u acualy think u can stop the car within 20 meters? guess not. On the same road this car has outrun a Subaru WRX STi tuned by JRM with more HP than the Volvo. And this volvo has also outrun an Yamaha R1 on this road...

This summer a Black Porshe with wings and "things" was left behind on the same stretch, Porsche driver commented it was no idea trying to catch up, I saw that the volvo was strongly rebuilt..

No need to stiffen the chassi anymore than already done !

Worn wintertires at the end of winter.

Last runs overheating(destroying)the wintertires in the first warmth of the spring. Making thoose tires slippery and the construction(walls etc.) is extremely soft.

Not to be compared to wintertires from south of europe(Germany etc.) The reason to the construction is to get a good grip on ice and snow in the cold during the Scandinavian winter. Altoghether it makes the car understeer and loose grip all the time on tarmac in the first wamth of the year.

Answer something for me friend, was the volvo in this video atleast setup with a basic sport suspension? It doesn't look like it the way your bouncing all over the road but I could be wrong. I suggest replacing all the undercarriage bushings as well if you haven't already done that.

The bouncing comes with the speed try that and youll notice the phenomena.

This part of the world has something called winter. It freezes the ground making the tarmac bumpy with cracks.

So with a too stiff suspension(dampers/springs)you­ll bounce of the road..

The car has rodballs on the underframe and also nylon or alloy instead of rubber..

One thing making it unstable is wintertires with studs.. Have you ever droven on thoose..

Actually I've done a lot of drving like that but never quite underwent the amount of bouncing around the driver in this video seems to go through. I mainly drive all weather tires on the track and I use winters on the public roads. Since I've never speeded with my winter tires I have never experienced bouncing even at moderate speeds on the highway in the middle of winter. Also, the sarcasm isn't really called for.

Bouncin do you mean bouncing in the drivers seat as the driver do... The car is absolutely not soft in means of original standard. Do you know what youre talking about. The only thing close to bouncing is the overheated tires thats what they easily become if you use them to hard when theres no snow and ice around... I assume our wintertires are quite softer to work well on ice and snow incl.studs. This means much more slippery tires... In the movieclip its spring not winter if you didnt notice.
