I really dont understand the hype around Tavares. Went to watch a generals game a few months ago, he did score a goal but he wasn't that impressive. He didnt even look great playing in the World Juniors. I havent seen first overall material in him yet. Hedman going #1? I could be wrong.

Ok, so Lidstrom was a bit of a stretch. He's still an amazing defenceman. Put that together with the good characteristics that Chara has (size, shot, hitting) and you have a dangerous combination!

Tavares is like, the next Antropov, maybe better. Great with the puck and big, but not that fast.

Hedman is not extremely injury-prone. Colaiacovo is not 6'7. Colaiacovo doesn't have a rocket from the point. Colaiacovo isn't amazing defensively.
