The cops probably broke the law & did something they definitely shouldn't have done, thus the reason for removing the audio to hide what really happened. How is this proper police conduct? That sounds a lot like murder. Being threatened with murder by a police officer just for owning a gun? And all of this is being recorded by the camera in the squad car.

Wow...I was about to side with the cop when I noticed the driver waited until approx 7 minutes in to notify the officer that he had a ccw and the weapon on him...buuuuuut wow, he went crazy and I guarantee he'll be canned for that. The correct thing to do would have been to find out the location of the weapon, secure the man until the weapon was secured, remind him that he should have notified them immediately and charged him. The law for CCW clearly states when pulled over for any reason you are to keep your hands on the steering wheel at all times until permitted by the officer to take them off. This includes not to even roll your window down to talk to the officer until you have permission to. Also what people do not realize when an officer runs your plate NCIC automatically notifies him if you have a CCW. Now would it not be something if the reason he was pulled over is he knew he had a license?

By the way, I am aware that when they run your plates, they immediately know you have your CCW (provided it's from OH) and I was curious why he didn't question him on it right in the beginning. I've been pulled over while riding with a CCW holder (I didn't have mine yet) and within the first 15 seconds after our friend said nothing about having his CCW to the cop, the cop asked, "So you don't have your gun on you, today?" at which point our friend said, "No sir, I left it at home."

I encourge everyone who is against this cop and thinks this is wrong to call and write to the chief and the mayor of that town.
