Well that entirely depends on the nature of the protest. If it is putting innocent people in harm or disrupting peaceful society then yes. If it is not, then NO WAY. Well that entirely depends on the nature of the protest. If it is putting innocent people in harm or disrupting peaceful society then yes. If it is not, then NO WAY. Its not as simple as you seem to think. And I'm not arguing that other governments are not doing it as well but that is not a defence for human rights abuses.
