  • just reading somewhere that the cansles, linen or cotton are coated with parrafin or beeswax, could this be what the yellow stuff is?

  • thos things are fake

  • ...its the new american craze. ear wax parties!

  • i bought some of these from the health food store, and it worked for me

  • i've been to parties where people dragged out drugs and sex toys....but....ear wax removal equipment and video cameras ?

  • lol at the beginning the guy wont shut up

  • WTF!?!? theses people really dont know how to keep their ears clean.....

  • homeopathism... fucking arsenic drinkers

  • the first guy IS MICHAEL SCOTT

  • most stupid ever....

and the dumbass award goes tooo.........

  • what's that game called? BULL SHIT!

  • this NEVER works

  • Its better to get your ears flushed cuz it washes everything out of your ears.

  • His accent is so funny..:D

  • hey doctor evil shut it

  • Unfortunately, people still throw their money away on this crap. Plenty of clinical studies have proven that there is absolutely NO clinical efficacy of these candles. If they did work, they would rupture the patients' tympanic membrane as the negative pressure required to draw the wax from the ear canal exceeds the tensile strength of the TM. Sorry, but I'll stick with real science, not new-aged naivety.

  • how many years you guys dont clean your ears ????

    yacckkkk

  • DANGEROUS

  • dude wheres my ear wax ;)

  • drop the candle and now you don't worry about earwax, now you worry about your face wax and hair on fire.;( not gd at all. sorry.

  • what ~~OMG ~! OK

  • what ~~OMG ~!

  • I love this video. I first saw it months ago and can't stop watching it every once in a while. You all remind me of my family :)

  • Comment removed

  • THIS is why I refuse to go to these damn parties. A bunch of morons who get no attention at work. This reminds me of Rick Moranis' party in Ghostbusters 2

  • "That is earwax, isn't it Nathan?" "What else could it be?" ohhh I dunno, maybe the candle wax because earcandling is a myth?

  • @ruthlessx yeah, try hydrogen peroxide 3% solution instead diluted a bit and it bubble it out in a minute instead.

  • I'd like to see one "stand alone" burned at the same time next to one put in an ear then both unravelled. I thought they were a sort of waxy paper in cone, not sure how much wax they would produce after burning. Dunno. Maybe another vid to demonstrate?

  • Read the bottom of the box, these do nothing

  • hes toight, toight like a toiger yesh, yesh...

  • lol

  • mommy he sounds funny

  • You know, I can't help thinking this all started out as an April fool's joke.

  • why does he keep talking ..

  • lol Melissa doesn't want to be anywhere near this choad, who blames her haha

  • these are some of the most nerdiest and dorkiest people

  • i clean my ears every other day at least. I did this candle thing and i got just as much. It pulls it from the core of it all.

  • @Midgetman303 No-no it does nothing except display the wax from the candle itself. When will people stop falling for this goofy ruse?

  • its only the dark brown part, the light brown or yellow is the wax which protects your ear from getting damaged by the flame.

  • I used one of these it didn't get any wax outta my ear... it was fun watching you doing it.

  • DANG. Don't you people every clean your ear ?!?!?! That's got to be a full years worth of wax. Jeez. It's not hard to just use a ear scoop/cleaner and scoop the crap out once a week or something.

  • retarded....

  • thats just candle wax if i put an otoscope down his ear hes still gonna be chock full of wax guaranted

  • My boyfriend and I did this a few weeks ago, and god it was horrible. I saw all the ear wax inside the candle when it was done. You peel it open and its all there. So gross. Even the smell when you put it out is nasty, we had to put a fan on to clear the smell out. The candles are like only a dollar a piece.

  • I didn't realise a candle could get you so fucked up, I'm gonna quit crack and try this shit.

  • You guys remind me o my moms side of the family sooo much. The shmelting guy is my uncle rob, the blonde lady is my aunt, the guy with the weird blue button down shirt is my other uncle, and the blonde guy in the doorway of the first part is my third uncle. No one cares, but I thought it was cool. Hehe.

  • I've seen some funny stuff on YouTube, but this was suprisingly really funny and random. Hahahaha, shmelting accident!!! Hahaha!

  • HAPPYY BIRTHDAYY!!!

....p.s shut the fuck up you sound lik kermit the frog

  • Yes they do work. But its crazy how they work. The heat at the top must creat a vaccum effect and the heat melting the wax so it gets sucked up

  • @mechbot9971 Yes that is how it works but that is not how I'd ever let someone candle my ears. Go to a trained practitioner.

  • These people are the most annoying people alive...

  • are those candles the real deal or are the sorta like a "hoax". i wanna try it but dont wanna waste my money so plz respond, tank ya.

  • don't waste your money it's a hoax

  • lol it looks like a small dog turd

  • Comment removed

  • he sounds like doctor evil

  • Why do I watch this shit.

  • LOL FAIL

  • External authority is the biggest myth ever. YOU are your own highest authority. Do as thou wilt. Harm no one. Illegal is NOT synonymous with unlawful. Legal has to do with statutes which are not laws, but corporate policy. The U.S. GOVERNMENT (for instance) is a Dun & Bradstreet listed, for profit corporation. Look it up. It's a de facto government in the business of making money. This is why almost EVERYTHING is illegal. The more that's illegal the more revenue generated. Then comes the fall.

  • who's brilliant idea was this?

  • Those candles are not made of any sort of wax, they are all fabric.

  • Actually the ear can hold quite a bit. Watch some of the videos that show the doctor's office wax removals. The ear canal can actually become distended and hold huge, compacted pieces of wax. Painful!

  • i suddenly could not hear over last summer. so i went to the doctors and had to get my ears flushed, while the tingling of the water ejeced into my ear wasnt bad enough, the water pressure wasnt high enough, the they used special tweezers an latched onto this HUGE piece of earwax it was like attached to the hairs in my ear, very painful

  • I don't know how you people can really think it pulls wax out of your ears. the amount that comes out of the candle when its done is more than the human ear can even hold inside. Its the wax In the candle that melts Down that you see when the candle burns out. its a Scam Like a bunch of other weird medical cures things that bank off of health nuts that fall for it.

  • wrong

  • who won?

  • Also try burning the candle without sticking it in someone's ear. The same crap shows up. Did the candle pull ear wax out of the air?

  • What else can it be? It's the melted wax from the candle itself.

Do yourself a favor. Instead of wasting all your money on those candles, get yourself one of those home otoscopes or endoscopes.

    1) Have someone look inside your ear to see how much wax is actually inside your ear.

    2) Do the ear candle thing.

    3) Have that someone check your ear again. They'll notice that the amount of wax in your ear is the same as before, yet there's a lump of stuff in the candle.

  • What a scam !

  • hahahahaha why is he talking like that.. lmfao

  • probably takes 20 times longer than simple authorised ear wax removal procedures

  • really what the f is an AUTHORIZED ear was removal procedure.....enlighten me

  • when someone who is authorized to do medical procedures carrys out this task

thats why operating and doing medical procedures on other people without authorization or medical education is not only ILLEGAL, it is dangerous as well

  • yes but the difference is you are not putting a foreign matter into you ears, the candle is hollow and is made of a wax coated muslin that burns slowly and creates a vacuum to pull out the crud without removing too much.

  • There's something about a bunch of people marveling over a pie tin of what they think is ear wax that makes me lose my faith in the future of humanity...

  • not this guy again...if a guy with the voice of DR. evil wants his ears cleaned the right way the let it be...y do u care guy? get some facts and use it yourself before telling people THEY are the ones who naive.

  • i did it at a professionals and it worked my ear were clear

  • If you were smart you would know to first of all, sit up while doing this. Second of all, have the candle tipped at in angle, and three, have someone else hold it. :P

  • Burn a ear candle without putting it in the ear and it will produce the same wax residue.

It does not remove the ear wax.

  • That's right. Why do people think that is coming from their ear? You can burn it in a clean glass and it will do the same thing. Depending on the angle, way the candle was rolled and other variables all you are doing is risking having hot wax pierce your eardrum and go into your middle ear. The other thing that happens is that your hair catches on fire.

  • Finally Thank you!! I did experiments on my own and no matter if the candle was in my ear or out it looked the same. It's the wax inside that melts down like that. I even tried it in a air tight experiment with the same results. I put the end in water, then in my palm, then just in the air then in my ear. I got wax the same each time. Either this is a scam!!! Duh!! or the air and water have bad ear wax lol

Plus, it can be dangerous if that candle wax drops in your ear!

  • In responce to "Walkonking"

  • @walkonking

That's an interesting claim. So you have done this? You placed one in an ear and just allowed one to burn without putting it in an ear?

  • @walkonking I am not surprised to hear that.

  • @walkonking thank you!

  • my ear doctor said those candles are very bad for ur ears to use drops to soften the wax then it will flush out

  • why do they conclude that the presence of something in the remains of the candle is evidence that the candle works?

should they not look for the ABSENCE of wax in the ear?

the reasoning of ear candlers is beyond me

  • but its a candle??

  • if u guys could get him to stfu, and quit being such a flaming loud mouthed .

  • the fawk?

  • You guys are weird. Your doing this while you have guets over. :| wtf is that man

  • Maybe their guests asked them Hey, what's that ear candling thing you were talking about? Well, I hope so, otherwise you're right, it's kinda weird ;-)

  • If you burn it without putting it in someone's ear, you get the same amount of wax. It's from the candle itself.

  • these candles dont work they are a scam look it up who would believe this crap

  • Actually, you are 100% wrong. My dude has horrible earwax build up in both ears, one of which is already partially deaf in. Q-Tips don't work, they push it back in. This is the only way he can safely remove it. It works. I have seen the results. All that stuff in the thing that they're showing, that's wax.

    Sorry, but you're wrong. FAIL!

  • umm actually miss no it all maybe you should search this stupid candle and find out the truth ignorant dumb ass

  • ok your just childish and i can see you are a person that just cant admit they are wrong so think what you want and have a great day

  • It is wax from the candle. The suction from the candle is no where near, I repeat, no where near the amount you would need to remove such wax.

You can create 100 x more power by making a sucking motion with your mouth. Now thry using your mouth over someones ear ande see what happens....nothng.

  • what? ew

  • maybe you shoud search how to spell "know" retard.

  • you are dumb for correcting people for really stupid stuff...... sum peeple downt noe hou two spel ayand eet shooud knot b yowr parabalam

  • n this is how older people party nowadays, throwin'

    a cleanin' ear drums festival..

  • 4 reel LMFAO!!!!

  • lmfao...

  • These people later went out and bought 1000 of these candles and got the SAME amount of FAKE ear wax each time. How can this be??? They know their ears cannot have the same amount of ear wax EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! lol They know they have been FOOLED! They did a Google search on "Ear candle scam" and learned the truth! lol Anyone who believes in ear candling is an ... IDIOT!

  • Shut the fuck up your not funny!!

  • I agree, Evan is an idiot. No wonder no woman would hold is hand, what a dork.

  • ears can have that much wax ??

  • Comment removed

  • true i burned one without putting it in the ear...same result

  • The wax that these candles "remove" comes FROM the candle; you can tell in other videos. There's no way that little flame can create enough suction to pull earwax out of an ear.

"It's burning my medulla oblongata." LOL!

  • Sure it can. It's simple to understand. The fire consumes the oxygen inside the hollow candle, rather quickly, which creates a vacuum and pulls the wax out. Any dark material is the ear wax. Any powdery material is from the candle. I've done it. it works.

  • I understood that it was intended to create a vacuum, but you'd need a pretty stiff vacuum to pull a bunch of earwax out of an ear.

I'm surprised you said it worked; almost every comment I see on these videos says they're a scam.

  • Yeah, seriously. If the vacuum was powerful enough to pull out earwax, you'd have the airplane-ear-pop from hell!

  • I repeat.....It does not work and only a fool would believe it.

  • It sure is simple to understand. It's also dead wrong.

  • i did it once and i had a lot of soap in my ear (white ) , it was really wierd

  • Those stupid fucking candles dont work. I tried them.

  • why does he speak like a retard

  • thats an accent you jerk respect the elderly**

  • look at these stupid grown men so convinced that it actually works...

  • lol...the way that guy talks..hahaha hilarious...like a simpsons character.....

  • hey man youre brains are on fire ha ha ha ???

  • It's call Opi candles or Hopi Candles... and it's really work !

  • On Youtube, do a search for "The Ear Candle Myth". Watch that video! It proves that ear candling is a big scam! Also, do a Goggle search for "ear candle fraud scam", and you'll also see that the Candadian government calls this a scam!

Come on, people. Are you that naive?!!! lol

OK, be honest now. How many people who post these videos up on YouTube, also work for the manufacturer of these useless ear candles? lol

  • On YouTube, do a search for "The Ear Candle Myth". Watch that video, and it proves that this is FAKE! Don't waste your money on this SCAM!

  • man, i'm not black but i am native and yeah the race card needs to be burned so that whenever ppl pull it out they get curbstomped

  • wait when you say native do you mean native american?

  • why yes, yes i do. i am 25% oneida native american derived from the turtle clan. although my clan used to live in new york we mostly reside in wisconsin living unhappy lives because most of us are broke

  • so your 25% and you class yourself native. isnt it correct in saying your more non native than native? jumping on the bandwagon...

  • and 75% ridiculous

  • This is a myth...these ear wax candles do nothing, next time burn just the candles not in your ear. you will see that it is the same result, the paper that the cone is made out of is coated with wax and as it burns like a candle the wax runs, but on the inside of the cone. I worked at a herbal store where we sold these and I pushed them for a long time until I found out that they were fake. sorry if that ruins the fun

  • do my ear please?

  • how do you do it? what is it?

  • lol my mom used to do those alot theyre called ear candles o_0

  • you guys had a ear wax removal party? Awesome!

  • ive done this and it doesnt work it burns the inside of your ear trust me dont do it

  • does this work?

  • no...

  • uuuuuuuu ya it does my dad did it before and my mom i almost did but i was scared

  • not its just candle wax that comes out m8

  • It's not a normal candle.

  • um no it wasnt started by white people. they do it in mexico and other cultures have done it too.

  • only racist people would say that

  • thats funny, wow. racism and obama is the prez. yeah cuz only white ppl run for prez right? NXFOL? god your a douche

  • hahah, melissa had a lot of people in the way.

  • this is waht happens when you do drugs at 12am kids

  • Yes, the "Earwax" is just the paraffin wax coated cloth (or "the candle") wax and it is just a big, fat scam. You used parring. That is the problem. The "vacuum effect" is a scam. You should see extremly little to no residue when the proper candle(beeswax/soy wax) is used. The point of candling is to losing the wax, not suck it out. Though the whole practice of it is bad because it does heat up the earwax and causes it to fall on the ear drum then harden, and the cost a lot to have removed.

  • Most of what you find when you cut the candle open is NOT ear wax. It's just from the candle. It looks like wax, but it actually is not. Only a small portion of the contents is actual ear wax. However, it does remove toxins

  • I'm so going and buying candles tomorrow to try this!

  • MossBrucker... it "is" wax... just not ear wax. Candling does not work

  • It's been used for eons. What proof do you have that it doesn't work? On what are your assumptions based?

  • No assumptions. The amount of vacuum needed to "suck out wax" would perforate your ear drum. Also, I have purchased them and the vacuum created is so minimal, that the gauge showed nothing.

Ask ANY E.N.T. Even the leading MFGR of these candles/cones went on NBC just a few weeks ago and said that it is meant to dry out the ear with smoke. NOT vacuum out the ear.

  • This guy is shitfaced, funny as hell.

  • Thats unbelievable how that works hahaha

  • lmao these guys r funny

  • Dude. Y'all have some crazy parties. Invite me next time. I'm a fun loving gal.

  • did you eat it? I dig earwax!

  • ww.quackwatch DOT com/01QuackeryRelatedTopics/candling.html

  • That ain't wax.

  • hes drunk lol!

  • the way they explore the extract after ear candling.. were like kids exploring the life cycle of a cockroach? LOL

  • Called Brett 2 or 3 times loudly....Apparently Brett needs a bit more of a cleaning/clearing!

  • How about unwrapping an unburnt candle to see if there is anything in there before you start?

  • DUH! you've obviosly never done this

  • its not ur ear wax its the candle's, burn one by itself and it'll still have wax inside even when it was'nt in ur ear

  • The candle has no effect, its an urban legend.

  • I've tried them. The cones are coated in a wax already. Try just burning one without it being in someones ear.

  • how do you duplicate this??

What do you need as far as supplies!!

  • how many beers did the guy when this was takeing

    he is funny.

  • nooooo were is part 3 , i wanna know who won! lol
