@jazza123456789o I think he recorded a song called "Make Someone Happy" that Jimmy Durante and Doris Day also recorded, I heard him singing it on a BBC radio show.
Gerald Mohr also appeared in an episode of Aaron Spelling's sitcom "THE SMOTHERS BROTHERS SHOW" on CBS that season {"Halo In the Ring"}, playing a humorous variation of his "tough guy" persona, as a "crooked fight promoter". This series was filmed on Four Star's backlot, 'space'. If there were ANY European settings, it was most likely "stock footage"...
Sucked on toast, with a side of suck and extra suck sauce. Secret Agent Burke, once millionaire police detective, blah blah blah, only a moron would dream up such crap.
With the popularity of James Bond and The Man From UNCLE, ABC told Aaron Spelling to change the concept of "Burke's Law" into a spy thriller. He said it wouldn't work and was proved right. Even with an earnest attempt, the concept did not work.
It didn't help that it was scheduled up against another newcomer to the TV spy game, one that featured crisp, witty dialogue, interplay between two great leading actors and actual on-location filming....I Spy.
Wish I could find this series. anybody know?
