well this is how i learned to play blazblue, but even if you dont want to believe it. She is really broken because her damage is way to high and you pull out all those high damage combos with no Problem. It sucks that lambda is so weak but at least it is more fair than in ct. Main argument that makes her so broken is that the arrows dont disappear when you hit her, what makes her even harder to defeat. I wonder why they havent metinoned 4B as combo starter. It has ground invicibility and is nice

Man,at first I couldn't do combo 10, I found out that in order to do it you need to wait a bit after the throw then dash. These combos require that you know when to go very fast and when to calm down and wait just long enough. Thank you for uploading.

@versionintegrale Completely agree, everyone thinks that Nuu is all about spamming D but if you are up against a half decent player, they will know to get close up on Nuu and thats game right there.
On the other hand, if you are up against an advanced nuu player, they will take advantage of the C button and grab to knock you into the air and from there the carnage begins. Alternatively, rapid cancelling on the forward quarter circle d and following up with a dd attack helps that purpose.

It's very true that the D swords are slower, but all of the D combos used as Nu still very much so work just fine. All except for doing it out of a ground throw. HOWEVER, Act Parser II's C version is simply fantastic out of the throws. Side note: The theory of having to "time" the D attacks perfectly per button press is not true. (gameplay was proven, tested, and used by myself at Planet Zero Arcade in Houston, TX)
Lambda is simply amazing. Act Parser has been replaced with Act Parser II, allowing the use of 236 A, B, and C. B and C tackles your opponent and makes them fly in a certain direction depending on the button used. C will make them fly high in the air, allowing your to jump and do the typical air C combo usually. B will cause them to fly forward and you can usually hit with 5D to do that typical D combo. A will simply dash forward allowing you to do whatever you want out of it.
For all the people saying "MASH D AND YOU'RE A PRO DUUUURRRRR" like idiots, you try that online, you'll get owned by even the newest players. I'll agree her combos might not be the hardest to learn. Nonetheless there's still difficulty in timing and anticipating your opponent.
All characters in Blazblue are unique, some easy to learn, but all of them hard to master. There is no overpowered characters or underpowered ones. You just need to learn your character.
I almost agree with you on all accounts, since I feel that people give Rachel, Jin and Arakune far more hate than they deserve. I cannot see eye-to-eye with you, however, when considering Nu. She is probably the most unbalanced thing in a fighting game excluding glitches, unplayable characters and/or exploits I have ever seen. This is just my opinion, however; I'm not saying you're WRONG, I simply don't agree.
Well everyone's allowed their opinion. But Continuum Shift should hopefully change things and get people off Nu's case hopefully, or well off Λ-11's (Lambda) case, her clone. Though I am saddened that Nu's getting replaced :(

@MetalWhiteDragon Dude I agree with you on many points, but did you ever used Tager on a Online match against V13? No chance at all. Some of the V13 players just mashing some buttons and "teleporting" around like jerks... an they win. The same when I use V13. Lost like 5 time with her Online, not that I'm a pro gamer or something, but Tagers, Taos or Litchis don't stand a chance if they aren't the biggest pros and know every weakpoint of V13.
@xXKyuuXx Maybe, but things are switching over to Continuum Shift now and Lambda, the new V-13 is getting nerfed and shoved down in one of the lowest if not the lowest tier, so hopefully, people will stop complaining about her play style.
That's crazy, all the really good characters are the simplest. For stuff like Bang and Litchi combos, they're like "disarm a bomb, become an aerospace engineer, and adopt a starving Kenyan child."
Then you pick V-13 and it's like "PUNCH THE KEYS FOR GOD'S SAKE. YOU'RE THE MAN NOW DAWG."
Nu has a very slow recovery time if she misses her D. If you use Nu, you need to make sure that you aim properly and your D hits. Else you be very open for attack if you miss.

Go to options and look at the control set up. The default set up has the left, top, and right face buttons as A, B, C respectively and the bottom face button is D.
I totally agree with that comment that gasconron said. Seth only seems like a cheapshot boss cause his range is deadly and has a host of moves that can really get on your nerves if you let it. I played SF4 yesterday after not playing the game for awhile and beat him pretty darn easy than I remember only because I did more anticipation and less panic when I faced him. Mind you, it depends on who you play against him as well. I was playing Gouken. Sometimes that game really ticks me off though :)
The problem is if you are just playing more aggressively she can punish you from the distance , even if you are jumping forward she still can catch you. All you need is predict when the drives will come out, so like you pretty much have to play more defense when you are going against Nu.

I think it's Noel, but there are people who say Jin and Haku-men as well. As a Nu player, I took to her naturally from the getgo, but I acknowledge that yes, she's very easy.
imo thats part of the beauty of blazblue, the bb team did a great job with allowing new players to gain access to simple combos, yet complex ones can be learnt if anyone puts in the effort.

lol she sucks in close combat....except for her 2C...which is one of the safest, if not THE safest move IN THE GAME. When landed with a counter hit BOOM half health combo on pretty much everyone except haku or tager.
And who cares if she has low hp. Her zoning abilities are SUPERIOR to everyone in the cast. you can't get near her with 80% of the fucking cast. Shes imbalanced. PERIOD.
Is Combo #6 a Rachel & Tager only combo because when I try it on other character her lazer doesn't pick the opponent up, or is my execution just wrong.
She's not too difficult to pick up considering if you spend a some hours in training mode; testing out possible combos and whatnot. Though I guess it depends if you're used to an assload of projectiles or not.

metaknight is a character from the kirby series which he has been added to the SSBB char roster but most people think his broken for his countless spinnin atts.
SSBB is not a normal fighting game. And MK is not broken because of the spinning attacks, but rather because he is unedgeguardable (never fall) (=break 1 mecanism of the game) and can't be countered (=break 2nd mecanism of the game, counterpicking).
@LightxKratos metaknight is broken not just because u cant edgeguard him...(edgeguarding in brawl is almost nonexistant) but because of priority, frame advantage, lack of delay after most of his attacks, power, recovery(almost all of his moves allow him to recover) and a few more reasons... in this game, nu is only broken if you stand far away from her and never attempt a rushdown... nu is not as broken as people make her seem... hakumen and tager can kill her within like 15-20 seconds
@ClassicWavetrooper true that... continuum shift is a lot better... much more balance to that game.... you'll find that nu/lambda can't do that turtling so easily anymore :)
She's not broken. Her attacks seem confusing if you play against her at first since her swords come from all directions (which you can still block even though they come from behind), but her defense is really low and she's very bad at taking pressure. She IS considered to be high tier though. You should check out the arcade infinity video with Tager(considered low tier) vs V-13-.

V-13 may be a character who can pull off some piss easy combos, but let a good Ragna or Hakumen close and you can be shut down very quickly.
Can't wait for the slightly more balanced V-13 come Continuum Shift. Might main her at that point as I love the "Give no quarter" playstyle.

@MetalWhiteDragon Dude I agree with you on many points, but did you ever used Tager on a Online match against V13? No chance at all. Some of the V13 players just mashing some buttons and "teleporting" around like jerks... an they win. The same when I use V13. Lost like 5 time with her Online, not that I'm a pro gamer or something, but Tagers, Taos or Litchis don't stand a chance if they aren't the biggest pros and know every weakpoint of V13.

That's crazy, all the really good characters are the simplest. For stuff like Bang and Litchi combos, they're like "disarm a bomb, become an aerospace engineer, and adopt a starving Kenyan child."
Then you pick V-13 and it's like "PUNCH THE KEYS FOR GOD'S SAKE. YOU'RE THE MAN NOW DAWG."

It's actually pretty hard to use since most know to dodge her swords... plus you have to guess where the opponent is going to go to aim your swords.
If your x button gets jammed... you'll just keep sending out swords haha! ;]

Nu has a very slow recovery time if she misses her D. If you use Nu, you need to make sure that you aim properly and your D hits. Else you be very open for attack if you miss.

Go to options and look at the control set up. The default set up has the left, top, and right face buttons as A, B, C respectively and the bottom face button is D.

I totally agree with that comment that gasconron said. Seth only seems like a cheapshot boss cause his range is deadly and has a host of moves that can really get on your nerves if you let it. I played SF4 yesterday after not playing the game for awhile and beat him pretty darn easy than I remember only because I did more anticipation and less panic when I faced him. Mind you, it depends on who you play against him as well. I was playing Gouken. Sometimes that game really ticks me off though :)

The problem is if you are just playing more aggressively she can punish you from the distance , even if you are jumping forward she still can catch you. All you need is predict when the drives will come out, so like you pretty much have to play more defense when you are going against Nu.

there is a difference between... superior advantage and "bein broken" sometimes its just a fine line that most new players can't cope and feel that its cheap... also "being a boss char does not = cheap" i have been seeing this comments in sf4 with seth who is almost like v-13 with superior zone abilities and a large arsenal of attacks with "paper life". advice, just play more, stop whining cuz in the end, its really you thats just being made fun of for being a scrub who acts like he knows it all

Nah, Sagat is easier by far, he's just very predictable. Seth is easy in the first round, then lets you have it in the following rounds. On other words, suckers you in, then destroys you when you are overconfident hehe

Well the weak and med attacks are not really that reliable, because most of her combos are just from her Drives and her Strong Attacks.

lol she sucks in close combat....except for her 2C...which is one of the safest, if not THE safest move IN THE GAME. When landed with a counter hit BOOM half health combo on pretty much everyone except haku or tager.
And who cares if she has low hp. Her zoning abilities are SUPERIOR to everyone in the cast. you can't get near her with 80% of the fucking cast. Shes imbalanced. PERIOD.

She's not too difficult to pick up considering if you spend a some hours in training mode; testing out possible combos and whatnot. Though I guess it depends if you're used to an assload of projectiles or not.

SSBB is not a normal fighting game. And MK is not broken because of the spinning attacks, but rather because he is unedgeguardable (never fall) (=break 1 mecanism of the game) and can't be countered (=break 2nd mecanism of the game, counterpicking).

@LightxKratos metaknight is broken not just because u cant edgeguard him...(edgeguarding in brawl is almost nonexistant) but because of priority, frame advantage, lack of delay after most of his attacks, power, recovery(almost all of his moves allow him to recover) and a few more reasons... in this game, nu is only broken if you stand far away from her and never attempt a rushdown... nu is not as broken as people make her seem... hakumen and tager can kill her within like 15-20 seconds

She's not broken. Her attacks seem confusing if you play against her at first since her swords come from all directions (which you can still block even though they come from behind), but her defense is really low and she's very bad at taking pressure. She IS considered to be high tier though. You should check out the arcade infinity video with Tager(considered low tier) vs V-13-.

Oh and before you reply with another bull shit excuse, look up the vid with Mike_Z VS Goryus, two professional players. That would be Tager (lowest tier), VS v13 (highest tier). In the first match, Mike's Tager took out Goryus' v13. Now how does a slow character going against the worst match up pull that off against someone who's supposedly broken? As I said before, once you've played v13 enough, you can read her moves like any other character.
