  • she got a very very interesting voice, thought she was a male singer, before watching her.

  • This is some ungodly power metal. And she has an incredible vocal range holy shit. Shes better than most of the dudes out there. That guitarist is NASTY!

  • Everybody should watch That Metal Show because Eddie, Don and Jim won't steer you wrong when it comes to great music.

  • Awesome voice.

  • Thumbs up if you came here after hearing it on :That Metal Show:

  • i thought it was Benediction.

  • @pablotepa13 Thats a completely different band lol. Benediction is a death metal band from the 90s.

  • @DrTabarnak yeah, i know, i was dissappointed when i realised, still good though.

  • V is a GODDESS!

One of the best female Metal Vocalists of all time!

a cross between Lita Ford, Ronnie James Dio, and Geddy Lee all rolled yo into one HOT and SEXY body!

Oh, and I went to High School with Lead Guitarist Pete Wells! that dude wails like no tier! he is a true inspiration!

  • his voice seems a man's voice...great tits anyway...

  • son muy buena sus canciones las AMO¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • es muy buena sus canciones las AMO¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • Forget about image, it means nothing without great music to back it up. Luckily for this band they own the rights to both. Check them out for yourself, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

  • It's exactly how it has to be !

  • I was listening to Sinergy the other day with me buddy in the car and he asked me who it was because he thought it sounded like Benedictum. So I decided to check out Benedictum and..........wow. This Veronica chick really does remind of Kimberly Goss from Sinergy.

  • this kicks ass

  • It's too bad there's lot of women in rock or metal bands these days that sound like their voices would be better suited for pop than rock. That or they try too hard to be heavy with excessive screams, roars, and growls.

We need more female metal singers like this woman's: clean but powerful vocals. I'm all for more female singers in metal bands but come on, ladies; at least have a clean metal voice. You can't tell me there's not a lot of women out there that have that...

  • @xRockandMetalx

I think the problem is that sopranos are encouraged to sing growing up but women with deep voices like Veronica Freeman (who I think is a contralto, the lowest of the female voice types) don't get that much encouragement. One of my friends is a music education major and he remarked on this.

  • @Asarelah In looking for songs i hear the lyrics to, I came across dominion, so my question is did she really sing in that song? I thought it was a man but now I don't know. And for an opposite example, look up stravaganzza arrepentimiento, at first i though leo jimenez was a woman but turns out, no opposite, I really hate when men sound like women and vice versa, it comfuses the hell out of me. anyways, i got off track so did she sing in dominion? if you don't know that's ok thnx n advans

  • @070257

    I don't know, sorry.

  • @070257 Yep, she sang on ''Dominion''! :)

  • @FrozenMermaid666 Thanks for letting me know.

  • @070257 No problem! :)

  • @070257 the gender of the singer shouldnt matter, it's about the song and the music.

  • @ZiddersRooFurry I don't care about gender, I care if it sounds good, I just find it interesting that there are men that when singing sound like women and vice versus. I guess societies stupid gender typing got me too.

  • @070257 sorry society's

  • @Asarelah I don't think Veronica Freeman is a contralto. Sopranos can make the deep voice that sounds like a man's voice, when they use chest voice. Great examples are Yma Sumac, Magali Luyten, Floor Jansen, Sandi Saraya, Elisa C. Martin, Mónica Naranjo, etc. Also, I guess most Power Metal, Heavy Metal and Hard Rock singers sang that way because it was the most common singing style in those genres (deep and very powerful vocals).

  • @xRockandMetalx I don't know if I agree with this. On one end, I love clear female voices (Doro style) in metal and I don't even mind classical singers like Tarja, but on the other hand, I am kind of tired of women with long gowns that do their best to look like they are floating, graceful creatures of Another World - and this is what they usually do when they sing with a clear voice. I quite prefer Angela Gossow's attitude and voice.

  • @Melyannadevart Well, that's just me. I hate death metal. In my opinion, it's one of the most overrated and generic forms of metal ever created.

  • @xRockandMetalx Amy Lee is an excelent singer =)

  • @Zokalth Sure, but she relies on melody for her voice. There aren't enough female vocalists that put nothing but power behind their voice. And by power I don't mean generic grunting and roaring like that Angela chick from Arch Enemy.

  • @xRockandMetalx gender doesnt matter the music does if the artist feels the growls fit the song, thats their right to sing it the way they feel it needs to be sung

  • @ZiddersRooFurry WHATEVER. I'm just saying my personal preferences.

  • Powerful vocals- this is how female power metal vocals should sound, not like HolyHell

  • Real powerful metal!!!

  • haha my friends stepdad is the guitarist pete

  • That's a woman singing? Wow.

  • @ravenclaw2010 a very sexy woman

  • @ravenclaw2010 Yep. I've talked to her on the phone and through E-mail. She's a real sweet lady.

  • Boahhhhhhh...!I am aphasic... This power!I realy love it!!!!!!!!^^

  • This band blew me away at MCF '08!!!!
