  • Well no one will ever buy any s/h stuff from you the way you through around your equipment Who picks there camera up by the lens then dumps it back dome like that

  • Aspect ratio of DSLR LCD is 4:3, so on your external LCD is deformation to 16:9. So it's useless...

  • I added a link for the battery pack in the description. If it is no longer available. search ebay "rechargable battery 12v"

  • Can you send me the link for the battery pack?

  • @Gorunsk8

I added a link in the description

  • @leehaze1 Thank you......ordered! ;)

  • @leehaze1 Thanks, do you know how long the battery can hold for that monitor? is it more than an hour?

  • Can you send me the link for the battery pack?

  • can u please link me the handy cam rig thingy. thanks heeps.

  • But they said 4 inches was big :'(

  • that thing work with canont3?

  • Hello, can you privately message me on the whereabouts where you got the power supply? that would be awesome! Thank You

  • What is the connector (plug in) called on the AC adapter which you use to connect to the red connector on the LCD TV?

  • What battery did you buy? I plan on doing this along with @onelonedork tutorial on adding a coldshoe to the monitor.

  • Hello there very good video and helpful! My question is; Can you connect it to the wall instead to the battery pack? Thanks in advance!

  • besides the wobbly image, nice tips

  • did u use sony point and shoot to capture this?

  • @hristijank2

no, it was a Canon a1200is

  • @leehaze1 lol im sure ur the second biggest fan of canon :P im da first biggest fan xD

  • how do you mount it to the camera?

  • I would love to know where I can get one of those batteries. Do you mind messaging me with a link?

  • I think Im just gonna buy an portable dvd player, and have a larger screen for about the same price :D

  • Please, please, please post a video that shows the quality of the screen. It's hard to see here because the camera you were shooting with is focused behind the monitor.

BTW check out my videos on the Eonon 8" monitor.

Let me know if you post that video.

  • How long will this battery last?

  • What is the name of the battery, if i were going to buy it?

    Thanks

  • I really don't understand people... You buy a 550D that's a decent HD cam, but then you cheap out on a worthless monitor that you can't judge any color, brightness or hardly focus.

The 550d monitor isn't that good but hell much better than that extra dead weight on your camera..

  • @AdmirSarajevo think outside of the box, let's say you're using C550d to film! If you place this camera on a Shoulder mount, you'll need an external monitor. Do you understand ?

  • @heldridas

Lol that's now what I'm talking about, i'm talking about if you're still going to put on extra weight and bulk on your rig, don't place a monitor that you can't judge decent exposure or focus with. Read my post again and understand.

  • @AdmirSarajevo you're the one that didnt understand the point of this Monitor. There's plenty of posts trying to explain it to you. If you're shoting fast (video), you can't be enough fast to set exposure or focus perfectly. I'm sorry, but I wont argue with you no more, people around wont understand who's actually crazy...

  • @heldridas

lol i'm not arguing, good luck with your monitor and with your focus and exposure...

  • @AdmirSarajevo he has a steady cam xgrip which is usually used for skating. while you are skating and filming, you would need some sort of monitor to look at. because you are so low, it is almost impossible to see anything. understand?

  • @dav1disradical

You really don't need to explain that to me. I didn't ask what it was used for, I said that if you are going to use a monitor, use something that you at least can judge the exposure or the focus.

The monitor can be great to look at, but totaly worthless to judge any type of focus or exposure on, do you understand better now?

  • thanks so much for this. ordered this and works perfectly for filming with my canon 7d. no flicker or anything. saved me about £150. you rule :)

  • thanks.

would you mind posting a video that shows the screen closer and in focus?

  • did you ever get it mounted on the cold shoe i want to do this if it works

  • superb!! thanks a lot...

  • what kind of batter pack is that?

  • Hey Man. I Bought a 7' LCD TFT Monitor off eBay for $45. WORKS AMAZINGLY WELL!

  • @JoshuaBeeLoved Hey I bought the same thing but how do you power it? Did you get the one with the wire? Where you plug it into a power supply? How do you do that?

  • @Lyricalmovement2010 Hey man. I'm going to do a video in these next few days on how to power it. I will show you how. Go subscribe to FilmDogPro on youtube to be notified of it. Also your going to need a 12V rechargeable battery. I'll message you directly the link to one.

  • @JoshuaBeeLoved i would like to know that aswell. you put that vid up yet?

  • where did u get the power supply from???

u did have the link for it

  • I have the same handle and the same camera, nice video accept my video response! :)

  • Also what does the screen look like in 16:9? The canons screen is 4:3 isn't it?

  • Well any updates? How is it working so far? Is it easy to focus using this screen?

  • I put a link in the description. Enjoy

  • Cool little screen, could you post the link to the ebay seller?

  • thanks man! great help!
