@russianmerc Yes sir. I have yet to have a problem with this bike. For 200+ miles I notice the revs start to bug me because it's so high. But no problems what so ever.
@russianmerc No problem, I have a video of it on the highway somewhere in my videos. If I remember correctly, about 8-9k rpm at about 75MPH. I currently have over 3600 miles on it with the original tires lol. So tire wear is VERY low due to weight and power. Up to 100mph it is stable, over that and it gets sketch, over passes it will pull (me and a passenger) at about 80 at pretty open throttle. Would go faster but was curvy. Like I said though, tires isn't something to worry about.

I'm looking to get this bike as my first this summer (09.) When you say that this bike will be difficult to find new, do you think this will become more of an issue once the weather turns nicer? I'm in southern Ontario, Canada.
my 250 you can go 60 and 6000 rpm and 03 redlines at 14,000 and before i installed the sprockets it used to be at 7500 at 60 (since i installed 120 rear tire) to off set the sprockets alittle.

Hey I notice that you ride with your high beams on... I can't bring myself to do that, I always think something is wrong with my bike when I have a light on on the dash. It's like when I notice that I forgot to turn off my turn signal.
During the day its the safest thing to do. It gives you a higher chance of being seen by other drivers\riders. During the night they should be off but for me at least its hard to forget to turn them off at night because its a giant bright blue light lol.

I personally own a 500. A 250 is fine though for any average person. Getting anything over 500 for your first bike will result in a problem.

Similarities:... uuuuh both Ninjas from kawasaki, both parallel 2-cl twins, same tires, both need min. 91oct. fuel, both carbs... bout it.
Differences: everything! To start key, look, handling, suspension, power, power band (low, mid, upper range), seat, feel, brakes etc.
