The American arrogance and ignorance is famose . If a horse wins in USA, without ever leaving his country, it automatically becomes the best in history. Out of your Truman Show , out the Hollywood movies , in the real world, everyone knows ..the best horse ever (gallop) is the Italian " RIBOT ", the best trotter ever is Italian " VARENNE " the best jockey ever is the Italian " FRANKIE DETTORI." All people can check these names on internet and make an assessment of the results.
Seabiscuit did not have "heart". He was just a very talented sprinter of slightly smaller dimensions. It's not about size in horse racing, otherwise the Secretariat filly, Lady's Secret, would not have beaten so many bigger colts in her time.
I love this little horse and I think he was better than Secretariat. Although the statistics told me that Secretariat was the greatest race horse in history. :D
I love Seabiscuit he was a very sympathic horse in my opinion. :)
This movie is also my favourite movie. <3
Greetings from Germany and sorry for all the mistakes I´ve done in that comment. xD
"By 10 AM the closest place to park was 15 blocks away..." that wasn't just another day in American history...more than 40 million Americans witnessed this on the radio...goosebumps all over every time I watch this. Thank you loads for uploading. What a fantastic movie and a great tribute to the geatest racehorse that ever was.
This is a great scene from an excellent movie. Beautifully shot, it draws the viewer into the heart of that race. How we love the 'underdog'! An amazing story.
I personally think that seabiscuit was and IS the most amazing race horse to ever hit any track. Sure Barbaro is the king of all racing but to me, he isn't as good as seabiscuit, and never will be
this and the very last scene with the whole 'he saved us' bit are the best two scenes of the whole film. Really electrifying and give me real goosebumps every time.
I remember showing this vid to my boyfriend. I kept on glancing at his direction, making sure he really kept watching, and he did! Afterwards, he kept asking many questions, so I showed him that original black and white-vid, and he watched that too! Pretty nicely done from someone who ain´t a horseperson! :D I mean, he likes animals, but has never ridden, unlike his bigsister,,
Seriously, I get about three waves of goosebumps in the last minute of this scene. My favourite part is the commentator in the background screaming 'Here comes Seabiscuit!'
ive been looking for just this part but everyone dubs over crappy music to make it seem better...come on now people. but finally someone got it right, THANK YOU
small horse, big heart... seabiscuit..a legend!
