  • I Love Morricone, & I Love Italian Movies!

  • Absolutely brilliant!

  • Mi piace tantissimo..............fantastico

  • when I first heard this song( was during a trailer on HBO) i remember feeling so emotional, calm and for a moment life was ok.

  • i loved that movie...great...malena

  • hermoso tema le escuchare.

  • cool :)

  • I cried ;(

  • Piękny film i muzyka ..........

  • Morricone the best composer on the planet.

  • @molibden22

    Absolutely agree! ;)

  • This movie has something in common which is the sexual feeling of a teenager man for a mature woman. Italy is the best sexual fantasy movie maker in Europe. I even laughed while watching some comedy on it and there are causes and effects through the drama of this movie.

  • @505216505216 Sure!!!

  • I love Malena, too... :)

  • He's the best composer!

  • monica belucci is a goddess

  • This movie brought me to Ennio Morricone and I am very grateful. It was on German free TV late at night years ago and the whole ambience of the movie captured me. What a lovely soundtrack.

  • 10 people are tone-deaf

  • Such a beautiful and touching movie.

Italians have a special touch about making movies that one can never forget. Movies like "Malena" and "Cinema Paradiso" and many other great movies.

  • lol

  • @tecnotoilet que significa lol

  • Rare beuaty but with misery

  • Shes an angel

    surrounded by animals.

  • beautiful slide man. If u did it :)

  • wow gorgeous

  • Obrigada Dulce

  • movie gave me my youngest boner thank u blockboster discounts

  • Эннио -GREAT!

  • Oscar nominated score

  • @Joeharv100 I would say that it doesn't mean much to be nominated for an oscar. Just remember that Ennio Morricone didn't win when he nominated for Once upon a time in America or The mission! They gave him the oscar for honorary achievement but never won competitively!

  • The anguish of this kid (Renato Amoroso)to be obsessed with Malena and can not play it,is a perversion of youth and at the same time a true love.I love so much this Film.God Bless the Italian Talent.

  • 2nd time I see this movie in a while and I still love it. It is real life folks! It is all about "needs" and everyone there had a certain need. It is what it is and there are many unfortunate women in this world still that have to go that route. I'm not saying that I agree but it's life. I would also want to be one of the wives either!! She is beautiful and people loved her or hated / envied her. Great film and music!!

  • Cant find words to describe how beautiful the locations , direction and the MUSIC !!!!!!!

  • NOT an Olde Classic,

    But STILL VERY VERY GOODE!

    "RARE" Nowadaze!

    Anna

  • @annamagari ciao Anna, hai proprio ragione.

  • @TheOreoDisaster she didnt make men cheat on their wives. They did it themselves. nobody forces a man to have sex. trust me. she took advantage of her looks to get what she needed, not what she wanted. I wouldnt think it is easy to be a prostitute.i am not justifying her actions but still, at the same time, i am not judging thm. I dont agree on the actions of the women either. Nobody is righter/wronger than anyone else. The women coulnt keep their husbands in their homes. its partly their fault.

  • @TheOreoDisaster and my comment was kind of a response to susanedu so maybe you misunderstood

  • @TheOreoDisaster

im not saying it is. but if you watch the movie, thats one of the main themes. Malena suffered because of the sexual desired from men and envy from women of the town. Within that society, it was a crime that brought her her troubles

  • Paradiso MUSIC - it is like morning wind at the autumn. GREAT music! MASTER MAESTRO! MORRICONE

  • i thought it was her CRIME. not sin. crime as in society, not sin as in spiritual.

  • Malena...Malena...Malena, I HATE YOU I HATE YooooooU

you stole my heart Malena I HATE YOU I HATE YooooooU

  • "cinema paradiso", and japan's "departures" are also classic heart breakers!

  • Bravo!

  • her sin back then is to be a self- supporting modern woman who's deeply in touch with her sexuality and humanity . well, many like her today are still being condemned by society. i like rhe idea of a boy who's so in love with her, he sees nothing but her inner self contrary to what society says about her.

  • @charlesbautista70

  • @charlesbautista70 well said and very true

  • @11dreamcatcher11

Your sin does not exist, his sexuality has nothing to do, the culprit is the envy of the people.

Malena's character esabierto not sexually but is forced to offer his body to survive without his father died, her husband allegedly killed in the war and the necessities of war, this film is no call for sexual liberation and if the power of envy and the superficiality of society.

  • i am deeply frustrated by the beauty of this film. i die every time i watch it. and the music? well....... it's a time machine that takes me back to my childhood memory... what a profound masterpiece....

  • Josh Groban calls this song YOU"re Still YOU... I do love Morricone

  • @getoutofmyway01 thanks for that Ive been racking my brains for where I had heard part of this before and you have answered my question brilliant piece of music now I must see the film

  • An absolutely lovely score, for a wonderous film.

  • ennio morricone legend wow an monica belluci

  • Saw this movie yesterday, it´s so good.

  • perfetto

  • Un monumento al pilu nostrano. Chiù pilu pè ttutti.

  • Beautiful movie. Surprising ending.

It has its sad moments, happy moments, and of course, sexy moments.

  • I jst finished watching thiss movie, I love it! especially the song

  • malena .. Monica Bellucci my fav and my best art

  • that was so fucking sad when those ugly bitches ripped her to shreds in front of the whole town for no good reason. no one even helped her. I felt really bad for her then.

    =( it's a great little movie though.

  • @jmf459

I guess because she was the town's whore...weather she wanted to be one or not. Important thing was, she got up and faced the music.

  • Is this not the music from "Cinema Paradiso"?

  • Vabbè, Morricone riesce a superarsi ogni volta.. fantastico!

  • O....m....g.... Gotta add this... Superb

  • Gzmsr88 Beautifully done;....... Beautifully done!

  • trist dar frumos

  • I am totally speechless after watching this movie.... sono litteralmente senza parole.... the direction, the scenography, la Bellucci, the music..... this rises very high to the top of my list for best movies..... very near Cinema Paradiso. I have to watch La Leggenda del pianista sull'oceano

  • Piękne wykonanie...śliczna muzyka....**********

  • lol the boys are so pervert.. :d

  • yeah ... i gotta cry every time i see this video , and i am a grown man .... just because it breaks my heart

  • Her sin was TO BE BEAUTIFUL!!!!

  • @susanedu What may I ask was her sin? What is sin, just those thoughts hammered into our heads as children. The sins of the father. There is only good.

  • Didn't watch the movie yet,but...I feel for her just from listening to this...Malena,oh Malena...

  • Beautiful musicc

  • Monica Belluci the best pussy in Earth..

  • @PAWASHUPA ..u have seen it ? lucky guy!...

  • Great composers in history: Bach, Mozart, Beethoven ... and Morricone.

  • Very beautiful and underated actress!

  • @viewingut oh b.coz shes an actress ?

  • qe lindo hermoso video ella es mi musa inspiraadora mui hermosa

  • never mind i take that back ...

  • this is for your jayvee <3

  • the background music is beautiful and soothing to hear. Am I reading this proper: that "Malena" is a jezebel? In English, we say whore/slut .. I could be wrong. Everything is different in opinion

  • @LiquidMuse360

See the whole film! It's nothing like that! I think the film is as much for Renato's growing up, as for Malena's, ''the beautiful woman", struggle for survival in a (male) world which sees her only as an object of sexual desire. I think the film is about the platonic relationship between Renato and Malena, the only ''real'' one in the film and the sacrifices they both have to make to survive.

  • @Butterflies3Flowers but i dont understd why ppl thks shes the most attractive woman ??? whats special on her comparing to billions other women by far more beautiful nd mor natural

  • @simbakingston

Well, it's only an opinion, but I'm guessing she has a natural beauty and I don't mean the fact that she's dark haired for most of the film. She's well-built. See the bit where the boys talk behind her, right at the beginning at the movie - they focus on the hips, the back. It's the primitive type of beauty - dark hair, good figure, plump lips. It's psychological attraction. That's the reason why people like Jolie, too. People like the type and she's a good example of it.

  • Ennio Morricone egyik legcsodálatosabb zenéje...

  • Who can watch this film and not think of Canticles: "Who is this who comes up from the wilderness leaning on her beloved..?"

  • such a dramatic and moving song

  • I want this played at my funeral, I think it would have people rolling in the isles crying...which is my goal lol :)

  • Beautiful theme, so moving.

  • what a malakia..

  • i love this film soo much :(

  • if the boy loved her so much, he couldn't have just watched her get humiliated like that. He was just like the rest of them too.

  • during the Ring of Fire scene everybody goes like PrtSc+PrtSc+PrtSc+PrtSc+PrtSc+PrtSc+PrtSc+PrtSc+PrtSc+PrtSc+PrtSc+PrtSc+PrtSc+PrtSc+PrtSc+PrtSc+PrtSc+PrtSc+PrtSc+PrtSc+PrtSc+PrtSc+PrtSc+PrtSc

    :D

Me llevan a otro level..

  • i love this song its such a beautiful music

  • Such a beautiful music, such a sad story... Morricone-is maestro, his music is amazing, piece of art.

Monica Bellucci is adorable, love her so much!!!

  • One of my favourite movie...period

Excellent Morricone...........Frantic 1987, the mission 1986, in the line of fire 1993, cinema paradiso, malena....so much... that every movie is so beautifully done with flawless tune....i could say no more, the feeling of losing someone....

  • Love that music and film

  • wow i love malena so much <3

  • Ah, that makes even more sense. It looks like Ennio Morricone was one of the people who helped Josh Groban write You're Still You. He used is own song XD

  • Ok, I need to read the comments sooner. Figured it out :P

  • Does anyone else think this sounds like "You're Still You" by Josh Groban?

  • @thedarkfreak Yes, if you look to Josh's credits..you will find Ennio

Morricone as the writer of the music.

  • @thedarkfreak yup Josh Groban only just add lyrics to the song...

  • This world is not for one who is as beautiful as Malena.

  • @KhmerSerey1

    not in that world!

  • Malena.......

  • A beautifully sad movie that reflects what human kind is: a piece of shit. The heart-rending scene where she is publicly humiliated in front of the whole village is a revelation of what humans really are. It makes me loss any type of faith in humanity.

This scene is very similar to another one in the movie Zorba the greek.

Remember, always keep a low profile.

  • If I have 3 wishes, she sure be the first one...

  • I felt so sorry for her in this movie. She was so sweet. I love you Malena! XX

  • @Asxhmoula I do agree with every single word you said!

  • b e a uuutiful..

  • Bellissimo film.La storia tragica di una bellissima donna.Ennio Morricone e grande.

Regia Giusepe Tornatore.Belluci e una divina.Grande grande questo film.

  • József Attila: MIKOR AZ UCCÁN ÁTMENT A KEDVES

Mikor az uccán átment a kedves,

    galambok ültek a verebekhez.

    Mikor gyöngéden járdára lépett,

    édes bokája derengve fénylett.

    Mikor a válla picikét rándult,

  • Malena's beauty is every man in the town's downfall and sadly..it is also her curse
