Thank you so helpful I wish gary was still here one of my all time favourite guitarists .He is greatly missed and will always stand out as a bright star .
It'd be great if you could sort out "Still Got The Blues." That tune just melted me, and I can't even guess how many people copied it. Gary Moore was an outstanding musician and excellent guitarist. The music world is hard hit by his demise. Condolences and best wishes to his family. Thanks Justin, for this tribute lesson. Great work.
Gary Moore changed my life. I brought his video around 13years ago. watch it to death. brought a guitar (after quitting for near 8 years) and now I've got three grade eight qualification and a teachers diploma and am a full time music teacher. Thanks Gary.
Never commented on any site before. But being Irish and one who really appreciates what you do online Ive gotta say a thank you for this tutorial. Gary Moore an Irish legend.
@steptoesaunt This is done not to make money, it's a tribute to the mans great music and Justin is just spreading some knowledge of it to help it carry on. I can't think of a better tribute to the man.... RIP Gary, even after life we've still got the blues.
@steptoesaunt Is it not a fitting tribute for many people to be learning one his best know songs? I think it is, it's done for love and respect, not money. I mourn too.
Very nice Justin, thank you for not only this but all of your AWESOME lessons, you are without a doubt the best and most kind and human teacher in the World.
Thank you once again for this brilliant tribute to the big man, he really left the mortals' world too soon :(
May your soul rest in peace mister Robert William Gary Moore, you'll live forever in our hearts, thank you!
I have to say this. I was worried that you were just going to 'cash in' when i saw my email update. I thought perhaps you would show what a normal guitar teacher would show. There were obvious points where you not only showed the easy way, but how Mr Moore may of played it. Your transcription skills are the best i have seen on the internet and from anuone ive met. Thank you and please continue to help us!
Gary Moore was something else - a remarkable player. A sad loss to music.
You do a great job on this lesson - again, more good teaching.
I have been learning this myself by doing a bit of transcribing. Watching the solo video when it comes will help me check my progress. I find the really fast burst in the solo a little tricky and haven't got it right yet. I will never get the feel, tone and sound of the man himself. I hope to post a video soon.
Read already on Twitter that you were doing this, but I didn't know it was going to be a lesson. But really nice tribute man! Thanks a lot Justin, Gary would be happy with this :-) May he rest in peace.
I love Gary Moore, thanks for the lessons Justin! Can you also teach us
The Messiah will come again, I love Gary Moore s version the best. He plays it
with his whole Heart, I aways wanted to learn to play it, but no one, so far is willing to
teach it!
