  • Just ordered my rifle from Mike. I can't wait to head down for training when the rifle is ready...

    And Mike???

Hate to tell you pal... you ARE kind of a handsome rascal...

    :-O

  • Brings back fond memories. I later did a couple of shows with Johnny Crawford during his early singing career back in 1964.

  • Love it!!! You aren't far from my home stompin' grounds!

The Rifleman was one of a kind...when TV was worth watching!

  • Top notch.. gotta get me one!!!

  • Thank you Mike. It is great to see someone who really appreciated what the Rifleman has meant to guys like us. Thanks!

  • Nice vid Mike! Like you Im also a big fan of "The Rifleman".But I do have a question. In the opening scene Lucas shot his rifle RIGHT handed but most of the time during the series he shot LEFT handed.

I was told there were several reasons for this and Chuck Conners did well with both .

Is that right? Do you know the story behind that?

  • Maybe you can answer a myth I’ve head. I’ve heard that the 1892 cannot be spun cock without the bullet falling out. I also heard the Chuck Conner’s was modified to prevent this. I am about to buy a 92 puma bounty hunter and although I will not be doing tricks with it I would like to know if it’s possible.

    Thanks

  • very nice shootin' ! and excellent commentary, AMEN ! I understand the "Rifleman" production crew had chuck's 92's modified quite a bit to do those swing cocks and rapid fires without spitting a shell on the ground or stabbing Chucks finger with the trigger, lol. I loved this show growing up and would love to have one of these fine weapons for my own! thx for posting this.

  • I would love to see you too, but I cannot afford you! I love the rifleman too!!

  • Very nice...great job...

  • Never had seen anyone do it , other than CC, himself! Very impressive, especially the way Mike handles both rifles.

  • Cool. I want one.

  • where did you got those from.

  • this is awesome! one of my favorite shows.

  • Chuck Connors would be proud of this.: :) .

  • I always watched "The Rifleman" and loved that show. I don't think I ever saw the great Chuck Connors work two rifles at once like you did.

    Great job !!!

  • Great stuff. I've loved "The Rifleman" since I was five or six, and I am now 50:). RETROPLEX is currently showing reruns on the weekends. Mike's skill is damn impressive. And he certainly confirms that rapid-firing "The Rifleman's" rifle is controllable with live ammunition. One question, though: are these Winchester carbines? I ask because they seem neither as long as rifles nor as short as carbines -- maybe something in between? Just curious:) --

  • you can find the rifleman shows,on World Harvest Television- 4:30 til 5:30

  • Excellent!

  • i watched the show when i was younger, now im getting into it again! seriously that show was so wholesome. unlike today's shows. which is all sex sex sex

  • Haha, wholesome. You folks make me laugh.

  • Thanks for posting this clip. The Rifleman rules!

  • Do you sell just the levers with the hole and screw already in them for various models? Just curious....

  • Mike doesnt sell the levers only. If you enjoyed this video, you will probably like the new one he did even more.

  • Hey... you're not just a pretty face--you can SHOOT!

  • Very cool mike. You are excellent at using that rifle. I am in my 50s and among others, always was a fan of Lucas McCain.

  • this is a sweet video .............my dad has the same gun cal.44 magnum ....im going hunting with it this fall...for deer im 14 and like this gun......im from canada.......ehhhhhhhh

  • Thank for the memory, Phil

  • Keep up the good work Mr. Dimuzio.

One of these days when I can afford it, I am going to get you to build me one of these great rifles.

  • I'm sure Chuck would be proud of you. Always good to see a good shot.

  • You're a good man Sir!! I live in Rhode Island. It's SISSY LAND. They'd shit, if you came here. In this state, guns are bad, not people. Good shooting!

  • Wow! Like you're my hero! Anybody that can kill balloons like that has got to be alright.

  • wasnt chuck connors like 6'9?

  • Chuck was 6-5.

  • how come you havent been on outdoors channels midway presents "cowboys"

  • Mike DiMuzio knows what it means to "shoot straight from the hip."

DiMuzio is a leading expert on the legendary TV western series, "The Rifleman," and builds replicas of the unusual rifle used on the program. The North Carolina resident also is the only performer in the world who is able to do the rapid-fire rifle stunts made famous by Chuck Connors in the classic show.

  • Good performance.

  • Mike, do you think you can do a young Lucas?

Appears you have similar facial features and a Chuck Connors smile! Most of my friends think so too.

  • Thanks, but I am not that tall!

  • Mike, any comments on a pre-North Fork movie of Lucas McCain? Any ideas who could play that role??

  • As a matte of fact I think it would be a great idea!

I dont know who would br the best for playing the Rifleman though. Doest anyone else have an idea?

  • I always thought Tom Selleck would make a good Lucas McCain for the movies.

  • Like the music. They should bring the Rifleman show back on. Mike could play the Rifleman.

  • Thanks gottogosome, I am glad you enjoyed it! Mike D.

  • Hi Friends, this is my little Rifleman mimic promo. It's a little blurry, but if you go to my site you can download it in three different quality levels to watch on your computer. I welcome your comments on it. I am thinking about ideas for a second one. Does anyone have an idea or two? Maybe some different tricks? Please send me your cool ideas! Mike DiMuzio

    website is: riflemansrifle

  • Is that with the screw through the guard, or are you just fast with the finger?

  • Since I build and use exact duplications of Lucas McCains rifle, I am using the same screw through the trigger gard that makes it a trick rifle. Thanks for your comment! Mike DiMuzio

  • Mike, is the Rifle a "Winchester"?

  • Yes Rsaccuci, I am using a Winchester. Mike

  • Totally sweet big daddy! This video is wasssuuuuup!

  • This is quite a cool and amazing video. You should get on television and do a western movie!!

  • True Rifleman! Mike Dimuzio is one of a kind. These rifle skills are amazing! It's like watching Chuck Connors all over again. Terrific!
