ah i know what he did! im working on a project to let you play ALL games in 3d but if he did what i did he just added another camera to the game :3.if we can get some one to make a program that adds a 2 camera then almost all exe games will be in 3d! and youll be able to adjust the 3d depth like in the 3ds! tumbs up so every1 can see!

I think the 3D is the most useful in platforming games like these. The sense of depth makes experiencing the game more fun and makes it more easy to know when to jump and where to land. Its amazing!

Wow, things like those bubbles coming off of Mario when he is under water, and that snow, are really, REALLY distracting in 3D.

I don't even notice them in 2D, but here, it's a constant assault of bubbles and snow flying right into my face.

Hopefully effects like that will be common on the 3DS, but disappear or fade out when they get too close to the camera. Because other than the terrible sensation of things flying into my eyes, it's fucking gorgeous.

I once used Nemu's built-in camera hack to tilt the view and have a 3D effect, but then I would have to do two different recording, thus cannot record actual gameplay :/

I think 3D depth will be really beneficial to video games in that it will make it easier to tell exactly how far away something is. I hate it when the other 2D clues aren't enough in determining how far away the jump is, etc. 3D looks like it's going to be great in the 3DS.

@NinjaRhythm Go here: youtube.com/select_3d_mode and then select your viewing method, press "Take me back it works!" but it won't take you anywhere, then come back to this video and see if it works. :) Also, please report this to YouTube so they fix this problem. So many people are having this issue. :(

@iKurtiss Ah yes! I got it! It seems like the with glasses option didn't work but cross-eyed works fine. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to see your videos! :D Also I reported it so hopefully they'll listen, though at the moment it seems to be working again...

I swear, the more N64 games you play in the 3D, the more I'm starting to believe they were designed to be played that way from the start.

This becomes pretty apparent with the bubbles in the water, and is only amplified even more with the snow. Awesome video, can't wait for the new Mario on the 3DS (and wouldn't mind if they remade this one for it, either!)
