This CD is literally flat out amazing... Start to finish. If you haven't bought it yet, I would highly recommend it. Not only does the band itself kick ass, the overall sound and feel of the album is amazing. Heavy when it needs to be, softer when its appropriate... All in all, much improved from prior albums. Buy this shit, and put it on blast this summer with the windows down... Spread it to the world. haha.

This is just Depressing. I was all about these guys w/ there original EP an Sleepwalking. But my god have they just butchered their southern sound, and for What? Too sound like every other breakdown core band already on the rise label. Would Rise really not sign these guys unless they conformed to their bands styles already on the label. This is just such a step down from they were originally at. Not too diss other people for liking this stuff. But these guys were so much better 2 years ago.

I'm pretty sure they changed only to attract the masses since most kids love the hardcore, heavy breakdowns sound. They sound alright now, but nothing like what they were originally. @xashesfallx I don't know if i'm completely out of my mind, but i kinda hear the southern influence in some of the guitar work and the riffs just like on the 'Between The Lies' EP the southern part was kinda 'hidden in plain sight' in the riffs. On this record, it seems that they are still doing that 'influence-hiding' but putting all kinds of new elements to their music as well like electronic and symphonic/orchestral parts too. It's truly a weird and facinating combination of genres.

Listen to the teaser again and you can hear some pretty MMF style guitar rifts, everyone who listened to their old stuff knows that they have talent, its okay to try new things believe it or not, and maybe the southern style just wasn't working out for them.
