When actual biologists like myself carry out dissections to study a cetaceans physiology, it is carried out on specimens that are found dead on the shoreline, which is relatively rare in practise. Finally I have never come across a paper or journal in which research on captive dolphins has included depriving them of food.

In this "Survival of the fittest" world we live in, we have invaded the destinies of whales, porpoises, dolphins, etc. thinking we somehow are far superior to them. As a result, we coddle them and cause them to become lazy and dependent, much like a welfare mooch, and instead of protecting these creatures, we retard their ability to evolve properly. This is what happens when humans get in the way of nature. Humans have and have had no business messing with the natural progression of the dolphins. We get in the way and keep nature from happening the way it was meant to happen, and we cause this giant headed beast to evolve. Maybe if we weren't hurting these gentle creatures by shooting painful darts into their bodies and we were instead leaving them to their own destiny, this poor mammal wouldn't have evolved into this hideous beast.
