Shantotto's voice in Dissidia is very different. If in Japanese, her tone sounds younger, but in English, her tone sounds a bit older. nevertheless, in both releases, Shantotto's voice are high pitch.

Either works really. She's tiny so the younger voice works, but she's apparently ancient so the older-sounding voice is appropriate too.

Sad to say, she wouldn't. If you seen the things she does in the game, the spells she casts, and the power behind them lol. Your saying flare (x2), well Shan will cast Flare II >.>, then Flood II, Quake II, Tornado II, Burst II, Freeze II. Hell, she didn't make any sense when helping players fight Khimaira where her Freeze II, Flare II, etc.. were weaker then her Level 1 elemental spells. Fire I doing 3000dmg >.>

Final Fantasy Dissidia. It is new and only out in Japan atm. It's supposed to be released in English around Summer 09 probably. If you have a CFW, and a 2-4 gig, I suggest downloading it.

Because shes three foot tall? If Price Trion or Volkner was put in in place of Shantotto, then your comment wouldn't have happened. you're missing the point that regardless of race and regardless of size, Shantotto in particular is very good at kicking ass and taking names.

The beauty of Shantotto is how unhinged she is. Shes far more dangerous than any FFXI NPC.

Also I side not that isn't very clear to others,

To unlock Shantotto you must complete story mode with all 10 characters

Then complete "Shade Impulse" with any character once.

After that you will get 3 different story modes which are 2 sets of "Distant Glory" and Inward Chaos.

The first Distant Glory unlock Shantotto and the 2nd the Judge from XII
