  • GREAT, his last "performance"

  • AWESOME

  • Elvis was the man! Though he had only 7 months and 15 days left to live. He rocked in this video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • And they say he was washed up at this point? This man at this stage in his life was just getting started, just warming up..

  • i AGREE!!!

  • Thanks for this video! EP IS the King!

  • Waw ! Indeed ! I have too different footages on VCDs from the Pittsburg show. I must admit that this one you present here is completely improved, also concerning the image than the sound !

    Great, dude ! :)

  • he had lost weight in mid to late 76 and this was the 1976/77 new years show in pittsburgh...looks in much better shape and great song/performance. its such a shame it all went downhill in 77 but if anything his voice just got better and better

  • good work elvis crawler!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • amazing gooD!!!! ELVIS ThE KING 4 ever and ever!

  • Damn! That was great!!!

  • ELVIS PRESLEY ONE WORD AMAZING

  • What can you say? He was The King.

  • "The King till the End"....

    Amen to that

  • what can you say about this ? just truly ,truly awesome. pure greatness. always be legend.

  • When we see a video like this we see Elvis probably at is best in 1977 !!!

That's why they never show it on tv they want incrusted a poor old man sick image on Elvis to content all negatives critics so everybody think that Elvis at the end was a vulgar parody of himself...But you know what

Now it's time to show what he really was !!!!!

    LUV Ya !

  • What a great song. Elvis consistently kicked ass till the day that he died. TCB baby!

  • I´ve never seen this images...thanks for posting. The King lives. He IS the greatest. The artist and His legacy will last forever.

  • The awesome King Of ROCK 'N ROLL, MR ELVIS PRESLEY, Thanks for this great footage.

  • Wow - this video must have taken a lot of effort to produce from the available angles - great results!! I love this version of PSA, just a shame EP didn't extend it more with a few 'low' kakrate moves and more dramatic ending! Awesome stuff!!

  • Great to see this, absolutely fantastic!!!!

    Many tanx for posting!!!!!

Rated you 5*****s plus added to my favourites!!!!

    Rock On

    Sequin

  • It proves when Elvis received a challenge like a big show like this, he always delivered the goods. The Best.

  • The King 'till the end.

  • Pittsburgh '76 never looked so good - like it was professionally shot this year!! Ten out of ten. Is there a dvd in this format of the complete show? Would love to know. Elvis had only seven and a half months to live after this performance. Thanks a million.

  • There is no DVD in this format, but there is a DVD-R that I made where I took this particular clip from. This particular song is "Pittsburgh '77" as Elvis had already performed Auld Lang Syne at midnight.

  • This SPLIT SCREEN whatever you call it 'SUCKS" only good for the EGO of the TECHNO GUYS. "just show a good SHOW,,DIPSHI* A good example of GOOFY CAMERA CRAP is the recent big screen movie "THE KINGDOM" with JAMIE FOX "GIVES YOU A HEADACHE WATCHING IT"

  • If a film gives me a headache if i watch it then I think I would employ some common sense and not watch it thus avoiding a heaadache. I appreciate though that some people are not blessed with such things as common sense. It's like complaining about eating bananas if you dont like them. I struggle to believe we have people this dumb still living - can you people please remove yourselves from the gene pool?

  • Well Said!!!! Elvis is the best!

  • Unbelievable the man was sick yet he still rocked the house.

  • Yes, play the releases of this show on CD and you will see that the audio matches identically. I also have most of the rest of the show in the same split screen format which also obviously matches the Pittsburgh show that began on Dec 31st 76 and ended Jan 1st 1977.

  • I totally enjoyed this awesome rendition of Polk Salad Annie. However, this appears to be from 1975-76. Can you give us more details that can authenticate your Jan 1 1977 date?

  • Really unbelievable guys!!! It turned me into tears!!!

  • DUDE! i gotta get this concert, never seen it before. where is it from, someebody please help me, I've been looking for new Elvis material for two years now.

  • Elvis Presley Is A-W-S-O-M-E!!!!!!!!

  • great great great

  • wow them are some cool moves

  • great video of THE KING!!!!

    Rest in peace my love...

  • wow...thanks for this footage...the absolute King of rock and beauty!!

  • As The doors Ray Mazarek said seeing an Elvis Presley concert is like an awesome Mother F****** orgasm on stage.

The best concerts I saw to this and many rock concerts I've but the 4 best include Elvis Presley,Jerry Lee Lewis,Fats Domino,James Brown & Ted Nugent.

  • This video (once again!) is from January 1st 1977. That's Nineteen Seventy Seven. Anymore comments stating incorrectly that this was fro the previous day will be removed. Please read previous comments for more info on the date.

  • must be a little frustrating having to repeat youself so many time's.

  • It's not frustrating to repeat myself, it is however, frustrating to think there's so many ignorant Elvis fans who just don't care about increasing their intelligence. I wouldn't be surprised that some still believe Col Parker invented Elvis.

  • Yes, unfortanetly a lot of people do speak out of ignorance, but hopefully true Elvis fan's would laugh at the fact that people actually think the Col. invented Elvis the Col. was LUCKY to have the most talented human being in the word in his life and to top it off recieved 50% of his earning's in the last 7or8 yrs. of his life. The Col. invented Elvis....PLEASE GIVE ME A BREAK!!The ones that do think this please do your research Elvis would have made it no matter who managed him.

  • great vidieo this is from pittsburgh ,pa 12/31/76

  • Very good, and after midnight it was 1/1/77.

  • yes the weight gain later on was from medicine he was taking for is stomach problemsit was fluid not fatand he also had a bad heart and glacoma,,it's a mrical he could perform at all let alone some of best he ever did.

  • This is GREAT one ofthe best on Youtube is there anymore from this concert..and can anyone tell me if the Little Rock('72 red suite}was filmed in total? If so how do you know please?

  • The last time that I saw Elvis was Dec. 28th,1976 in Dallas, Texas and he looked great. It was shocking to see the footage later from late June of 77...the weight gain was massive, but he had the look of a sick man, not a fat man...

  • WOW!!!!!!

  • Interesting video, thanks for sharing. I had to watch this several times!

  • isnt this new years eve 76 from pittsburg?

  • No. This is New Years Day from Pittsburgh. The show started on Dec 31st and ended on Jan 1st. This part of the show is from Jan 1st 1977.

  • this is the pittsburg new years eve show..but at this point in the show...it was past midnight which made it Jan 1 1977... cool vid and thanks for posting

  • WOW! This was insanity. The king of rock n' roll. Ronnie Tutt is a ferocious drummer! What a monster.

  • This is an awesome clip. Alot of his weight came from excess weight from the drug they were using for pain control of his twisted colon. It is the same drug that Jerry Lewis was on a few years back when he was all bloated. Elvis' weight definitely went up and down but it was exaggerated by that one medicine.

  • Neat to see Elivs & his moves, if you watch them..You can see So many of those worked into todays steps done by so many of known dancing artist...even hip=hop & break dance type steps........He Still is the KING!

  • At the end Elvis takes a breather to introduce his group and a guy yells "Who cares?" Hmmmm. Elvis assembled the finest musicians in the world to back him up, and in 1977 this guy could care less. I'm traveling 1,200 miles next month to Memphis, costing me thousands to watch a big video of Elvis and hear his band live. My how times have changed.

  • This is one of the most impressive, well-edited audience-shot footage I've seen. I love the multi-screens. This, I believe, was in in Decenber 1976, actually. Elvis did some shows after Christmas '76 through New Year's Eve -- and many agree that Elvis was on fire that week! He's in fine voice and energetic. Great job!

  • Awsome...Thank you for posting it.

  • sock a little sock a lot so funny elvis :)

  • elvis looks great at this show! Ilove this song!

    Thnks!

  • To watch Elvis socking it like this, makes me smile every time! Elvis was a mad man in pittsburgh. It's a shame they didn't make 'Elvis in concert' a few months earlier.

  • Elvis seemed kinda possessed in the destructive and decadent time of his life...hahaha the shadow taunting him aye.lord have mercy..the need good souls ppl

  • sock a little polk salad to him... THE K1NG IN MUSIC !!!

  • kingalbert55, thats' the same face he came on stage with in 1976 only a few minutes earlier. One might think you were trying to make a pathetic comment but I'll bet you weren't trying at all, I'll bet it just came naturally to you.

  • Very cool

  • I loved watching this video clip, thankyou.

Boy, Elvis still looked gorgeous and sang and performed brilliantly at this concert!!!

    Loving you always Elvis...

  • I'ts 1976!!

  • No it is not, it's 1977. Please R-E-A-D the previous comments to learn why this is. The simple reason is the date and time, which was not long after midnight on January 1st 1977. Elvis had already performed Auld Lang Syne just to make it easier to understand which songs from the show were performed in 1976 and which were performed in 1977.

  • J'adore Elvis ! C'est le plus grand chanteur du 20ème siècle ! Il avait une voix sublime et d'une telle puissance ! Il savait tout chanter ! Je regretterais toute ma vie de ne pas avoir pu le voir sur scène !

  • I'm totally honest, I talked about "weight" ,He was in less shape,;mayebee, ,but it's absolutely not as bad as the general people wish to believe he was at the last part of his life! especially this new years eve show...Aloha is a total different story,he HAD to be as sharp as a knife in Aloha for the TV show..And i'm shure if he would have had given the challange of going on a worldtour,he would have been in top shape even then in 1977..If only...

  • No, this NOT 73, it's 77's and he is STILL THE most gorgeous man who ever walked the face of this earth. The girdle comment was not necessary. Leave him with his dignity...after all HE TOOK THE BLOWS AND DID IT HIS WAY!! And, will forever be THE greatest of all time in any life time!

  • This rocks!

  • Elvis is the best performer to ever walk the face of this earth and there will NEVER be another like him. Elvis was the whole package and he was REAL and LOVED BY MILLIONS IN LIFE AND EVEN MORE SINCE HE PASSED AWAY! Such a beautiful, caring, loving, and awesome performer. still the king of music*

  • As thin as in Aloha..HE started 1977 So damn good... Why did it have to end 8 months later...5 star rating ,and Thanks for showing the world that he could still pull it off in 77...

  • terrific performance just months before his death

  • Whoever synched this did a great job !! This has to my favorite version of Polk Salad that Elvis ever did!! I love how later in the 70's he added the horn section in on it. It gave it a bigger feel and it rocked !! Performances like this prove why he is and always be the The King of Rock and Roll !!!! Thanks for posting !

  • Great Great Footage! 5 Stars and thanks for sharing!

  • I agree with coolerator2 and thank you ElvisFootageBoss for sharing.

I watch the 1970 and 1977 clips . I love both of them.

    Awww Elvis, I miss you.

    Love you always.

  • It is not from Dec 31st 1976. This was a New Years Eve show and Elvis had already performed Auld Lang Syne and intro'd the countdown to the new year. At the time he sang this it was JAN 1st 1977.

  • That's gatorade he's drinking and this video is from Pittsburg DEC. 31st 1976. Great videio

  • The Big E, ripped, that's liquid cocaine he's drinking. Great performance, E at his best! Thanks for sharing this piece of history!

  • Damn' cool edit ! thanks !
