not a single trine attack? so like....he just never felt like using it or what, or did u mod the game so enemies won't use certain attacks because if u didn't i find it pretty hard to believe that a 4 minute fight where u basically give him free roam to do whatever he wants that he never even once used that attack even once.

@gantrain05 I think what's going on here is that he'll only use Trine/Cura when his health is low. However, with the way the AI is programmed or something, it only counts if you directly bring his health low with attacks and magic. With Poison it gradually lowers his health, but it bypasses the AI script change where he's supposed to use Trine because you're not directly lowering his health. Thus the strategy is to let Poison do all the work and keep yourself alive from his regular attacks.

Why does the hell combo only do about 300 damage to you?? I can only remember him raping me with more than 1000 damage. Barely did it at level 20.

Does that mean, the enemies' level changes with your own, like in FF8?

@nihil255 i think i have the answer: 1) back row cuts the damage received in half, 2) sadness lowers the damage received 30% 3) by defending, you can lower the damage even more (by half)

And in this video when big combo hit 279, it was a critical hit so the minimum damage in this video for hell combo could have been about 140,

@nihil255 late anwser but....He's probably in backrow and is with the Sadness status "wich make limit break come slower, but also increase defence"

It's a good strategy, but where did you pick up Deadly Wastes if you're running away from every random battle? The fight seems impossible to win otherwise because Trine is an automatic game over.

I don't run away from every battles. Some times, I have to fight enemies for items, like, for example, Deadly Wastes. They were won from Smoggers in the No. 5 Reactor.

I always used to beat him with M-Tentacles from the Cave of the Gi. But since you're never going to get those in this scenario...
