We share a long cultural similarities irrespective of the religion. All people remember is the bitter wars we had over these years but we should put it behind and resolve the core issue(Kashmir)through peaceful means.One should not look at the outcome,whatever it may be ,as a victory over the other. I don't think this peace project will succeed. Look at our past, living together for centuries and then broke up in 1947. Nice ads for promoting peace but India should take concrete peace initiatives like solving the water dispute ( the keep on building dams ) and I know that it 's not the fault of the people who are living on the other side of the border ( it's the govt. ), I have no problems whatsoever with this peace initiative .India should follow the Indus water treaty ( it's a purely economic issue )... I think that step would not only be a positive sign but a clear indicator of India's commitment to peace !

I would happily give my life away if the two governments have so much confidence in each other to open borders.....I can go to see my cousins in India, the land where my ancestors lived for hundred of years.... Politics had killed lot of good people of south asia and lot of resources especially of Pakistan in so called Defense budget....no nuclear missile can feed poors, provide justice and health...Long Live India and Pakistan, Bangladesh and Srilanka and all South Asian countries.

this is a very appriciable effort by the Times of india and jung group for peace between india and pakistan. by watching this video all the citizens of india and pakistan will try to buld a good and healthy relation without the help of any political interfearance. so try to be the one and no one can break the relation of two neighbour which will bult by heart to heart.

I don't think this peace project will succeed. Look at our past, living together for centuries and then broke up in 1947. OK, its true past is past and we have to improve ourself's in future but clapping can't be done with one hand. I hardly find any Indian talking or promoting peace project. It's only Pakistani's who are try to improve this thing.

Well the media is playing a great role in bringing the two nations together.. we love Bollywood films. Except films against Pakistan ha ha ha. the daily soaps are not too good. Pakistani daily soaps are quite better but u can't see them as they are unavailable there. .Geo tv of JANG GROUP is trying its best for peace and friendship between India and Pakistan. I hope that media will continue this effort.

I am hoping of peace between both nations, but peace doesn't means rejoining of india and Pakistan. It is misunderstanding of some people here that Pakistan will again be a Part of India. we just want peace. true, because some of our relatives are there, and some of their relatives are here; besides we're the same ppl, different governments, like USA and UK, they seem to do fantastically well, and there is India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Maldives, Malaysia, Singapore where there are loads of our people living for centuries in these countries, but the governments font even give a care in the world

Well if we go into the depth of origin of Hindu or Muslim community, will realize that "Our Almighty is one only".. The followers are different and hence one has to be buried while the other burnt. Are we more enemy than England and France were? They fought 100 years and 30 years wars besides many other wars and decimated their generations. They learnt and made EU, NATO etc. Are we permanently condemned to our present state or Aman ki Asha will succeed? Consider this and contribute to Aman ki Asha in whatever way you can.

This project is awesome step by the human. We should learn to stay together and that to peacefully.
But unfortunately there are some people, who never wants the peace. The best example is just below this comment.
So i will request these type of people that,
"YAAR BEFORE BEING AN INDIAN OR PAKISTANI , JUST LEARN TO BE A HUMAN" ,then only u talk about ur mar-dhad.

Aman ke Asha is realetd with Kashmir issue,Kashmiris are fighting for their ligitimate right of self determination promised by them under the UN 60 years old resolutions.The fact is that India is denying it since then, because its a'' Democractic ally'' and knows that Majority of Kashmiris (80% muslime) wants independence from it or merge with Pakistan. Lets have a fair referendum to know the reality. no elections bt a referendum.This will bring peace.Y Indains cant aacept it?

Nice ads for promoting peace but India should take concrete peace initiatives like solving the water dispute ( the keep on building dams ) and I know that it 's not the fault of the people who are living on the other side of the border ( it's the govt. ), I have no problems whatsoever with this peace initiative .India should follow the Indus water treaty ( it's a purely economic issue )... I think that step would not only be a positive sign but a clear indicator of India's commitment to peace !

Beautiful concept, i really think that the Indians and Pakistani's living abroad, most of them, have already embraced this concept which is great see here in Canada. I only hope the same for India and Pakistan ppl living there, I think the common ppl want peace and we should not let the media and politics from both sides get to us.

Derz a common misconception abt those who live in the 2 countries pertaining to the level of hatred that exists in the ppl's mind. But trust me fella's no such thing exists (im a Pakistani whose been to India). I live in Calgary & my best friend here is an Indian guy. Im sure thats the case for a lot of people living abroad. Friendship encompasses boundaries & all the diffrnces that we "supposedly" have are just a cheap attempts by those who hv nthing better 2 do!

@imzadou hey! why do u think this had anything to do with pakistanis dyin 4 indian music or elders dancing on any song for that matter... i feel music and dance is a way of expressing joy. the advert showed that deep within, v still want the same things, v can live together, happily. there is so much commonality.. see here.. people on both sides feel happy just by sharing music. i feel we should share much more & its alwys gud to make some1 smile. isn't it? :)

I apologize to all the aggrieved Pakistanis and Indians about what the independent franchises did at the IPL auction.
It was very wrong to insult such esteemed people like that.
Not only did they hurt the self-esteem of these players but also jeopardized the peace project we all are trying to initiate!
We as common and more intellectual people should put it behind us and continue to promote peace and dialogue between the two countries.

Paksitani cricket players and Pakistan was made fun of........by giving pakistani players false hope to be included in IPL.....remember i could care less about IPL.....its their tournment and they can select people of their choice.......but to use names of Pakistani Players and advertise and create hype in media and all over....that the tournment will include T20 champions of the world...which is Pakistani Players...it was done to on purpose....pre planned..not to select them but USE them.
